This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen. When I called to ask for a refund due to my flight being cancelled because of COVID-19. The person I was speaking to (I will not name the representative but am willing to give the name as a follow up) told me that a refund is almost never possible. I spoke to Delta earlier in the day and they told me that the travel agency did not refund me instead the requested for a flight extension into 2022. I did not ask for this. Delta also told me that Universal Travels is also required to give me a full refund. When I asked the Universal Travels agent, he told me that this is not the case. I am extremely upset because the agent did not reassure me that this will be possible and told me it will take 3-4 months! Delta told me it will take a week. When I have flown directly through delta before they have given me a refund within a week. I am very upset with this service I received from University Travels. I have been a long time customer, but will no longer be coming here to buy my tickets anymore. I was also told the Minneapolis location was closed today!! I know they are open every single day. They are doing things without my consent and are lying to their customers to scam us out of money.
WORST TRAVEL AGENCY EVER. NEVER BOOK WITH THEM. THEY DO NOT DO THEIR RESEARCH. THEY DID MULTIPLE "ILLEGAL BOOKINGS" WE MISSED EVERY FLIGHT EXCEPT THE FIRST ONE. THEY DID NOT GIVE US ENOUGH LAYOVER TIME. WE HAD TWO 55 minute layovers. HAD TO PAY FOR HOTEL AND NEW TICKETS. When we arrived in Rome we had a 55 minute layover and there were two huge security checkpoints so we of course missed the connecting flight to JFK. We take a LATER plane out of Rome and miss the next connecting flight to Minneapolis but even if hypothetically we were on the earlier flight we would have STILL missed the next connecting flight to Minneapolis because of security, customs, immigration and passport control which took about 3 hours. DEFINITELY NOT 55 MINUTES. So now our bags are in Rome still because we never got on the scheduled flight to JFK. And I'm out money for hotel and new tickets. University Travel is the WORST. I will NEVER book with them again and will continue telling everyone I know that University travel is the WORST. Never book with them you will regret it. The whole experience was a nightmare, and when we called the agent who sold us the tickets, our agent said he gave us "plenty of time" and that we weren't eligible for any compensation.

This is the first time I called this agency, I was looking for a ticket for my family and I talk to a gentlemen whoes name I don't want to say. My 10 minute conversation with him was not pleased. Couple things I have noticed. 1. He rushed me and was not having attention to what I was saying 2. He told me that they don't have flexible return time since I wasn't sure when I will return and wanted open return, planning to return after six or even a year. I absolutely agree with the previous reviews. Advice to the business owner please train your employees on a better customer services and I guarantee you more customers. If they are not doing their job fire them and hire diverse group not just Indians. This a feedback not a criticism. Please take this very SERIOUS. Now I have to buy a ticket somewhere else
This place is nothing but a ghost selling. Please don't bring your money to the them. They sold to me a ticket and just less then 24 hours they changed flight. They didn't call me or emailed me. I have to laid off for 8 hours in different places. So just to be sure they didn't like to tell the changes so they can keep they money. More people from to Somalia also reported they do to them. Specially Ethopian airlines. We called to Ethopian airlines about if they are one who changed the flight. They said they didn't. We even have to conformed with flight status app(24). Please look other other agencies for any future tickets. Never, ever want to come to back to them.
Called on phone for pricing and was treated beyond rude by a guy that told me to pick a specific date he didn't have time to check the best price over a 3-4 day window. Apparently the service has changed from what is used to be. Update - I can understand if someone does not have time at that moment. But normal people would have said let me look it up when I have a minute and I will call you back. The fact that this business took 3 years to even reply to my initial review proves my point. Typical - I would have expected better considering my famlly had previously spent close to $100k on travel arrangements with this company.
Don't want to mentioned to much, but it was not a good experience and we did ask and confirm before we bought the ticket from you that we want to buy a ticket from an airline which accept 2 checked bags, we didn't even said that it has to be cheap!!! So sorry for this review, it was for my 78+ mom and it was HUGE miss-communication!! Please listen people and care their needs!! please accept the mistake as well! It's not that hard! Thank you.
I asked these agent if my wife and my children’s can travel with me without passports in domestic flights but they said no then I called directly the flight airlines and I made purchase though the airlines they don’t have no clue children under 18 can travel without passports without any kind of photo I’d but they only require prove Shaws that this is your child such as birth certificate or citizenship. .
I will give them 0 very poor customer service. I am so disapointed with their services. Someone recommended me to the agency but i had worst experience. I am supposed to travel and stay over night to the airport and there is no way agency would help me to get a hotel. They say they will call me. Everytime i call them they either hang up on me or tell me they will call me and they never called.
They gave 4 tickets for my family and we tried to change the back tickets. When I informed them, they say we will get new tickets. They don't answer your email They pick up the phone, and keep hanging up the phone till you give up. Airlines, said, they locked the tickets, they are the only ones who can change I give up, just got new tickets. Please be aware of this happen to you.
Dear Travelers: My Travel to India and MSP was just superb made so by the excellent and caring guidance by my agent at this tour company. She figuratively took me by the hand and guided me all through a wonderful flight with cheap rates as compared with other agent. She provided excellent personal guidesin finding cheap flight tickets. She obtained excellent seats for me at Dallas.
The agent I used was very rude and unprofessional. I refused to go with Ethiopian Airlines and suggested the airlines I wanted. He got so hostile and told me to go book online. He even told me not to call them. I was dumbfounded and just walked away. I was recommended by an organization that uses to buy group tickets. Never experienced such terrible customer service.
These people screwed up my reservation not once but three times only to get to the airport after being sent to the the wrong airport by James only to find out there were no reservation there for me and I got the run around by James I took time off work and had my card changed twice these people have no business in the business of travel
I have buy a ticket from University Travel for Chicago to Delhi. I Missed my flight and called them to resolve the issue or change the flight. They are really helpful, even I called them on odd time but there agent really helped me and gave me the best solution also they solved the price issue. I will really thankful to them.

Good quotes. You can also call over the phone to get quotes. Charges processing fee if you use credit or debit card to pay. Bring cash or zelle, and you will save on processing fees! Otherwise they have enough staff to attend to you in a very short time possible.

they planned my trip to China with best fare in the market...i did lot of research on tickets (online and other agents in twin cities)and finally booked ticket with them for $83.00 less than market price. Thanks university travel keep rocking..
Called to find out if they could offer assistance with group travel but as soon as I said we did not need airfare she was unable to provide any information. She was also very difficult to understand as she had a heavy Middle Eastern accent.
Took care of my reservations in a timely fashion and corrected any issues that came up during a flight cancelation. Additional: seats were all wrong and every stop we had to get the family together in order to get the seats taken care of.
I am really happy with their service as these folks are flexible in providing best service in all possible ways, even if u miss ur connecting flight they stand for you and arrange another seat for. you. loved the way they respond.

I called the office on Friday and talked with a man who told me they are open 7 Days. I go there on Sunday and same man answered and told me they are closed on Sunday After I drove 30 minutes to get there.
Communication deficiency. I was been informed that I will get call back with price code never received the call. When I call them back I had to explain my trip location and time all over again …
Tried to get an itinerary. Extremely unhelpful, told me they emailed it multiple times and didn’t. Very unprofessional service, huge waste of time.
