"Studied art here"
I studied my MA in fashion business management course here. I anticipate university has purposely marked me down on my dissertation research to participate in a clinical racket and discriminate thier student. They called an external faculty who wasn't part of my course faculty to check my dissertation research who pulled flaws and error in my research 15days before its final submission. I appealed my grades via stage 1appeals process where the university was meant to respond within 20 days they purposely took almost 3months to respond to waste complaint procedure time. The uni refused to even consider positive feedback from their own accademic writing support team. I have reported discrimination on the university they didn't accurately answer all my points on my complaint. The university registry team has blocked my emails and my blackboard account they have not given me a certificate of completion of my course neither a university leaving certificate. The university has provide me a negative student experience and I feel scammed and cheated on my education. I can't believe I took a loan and paid for this student experience shame on the university.
I am an applicant for the Illustration and Visual Communication course. I was at the open day today at Harrow and I fell in love with the University. The facilities and services are A-MA-ZING!!! I also had the opportunity to meet with Caroline, a lecturer on the course, and Emma Dodson, the course leader. They were very kind and friendly. I did my interview with Caroline, and I had the feeling that she really cares about the students because of the advice that she gave me.
• Situated in nice natural environment – play ground, lawn, flowers, trees. inspiring. • Forum – welcoming reception, security, nice and spacious. • London Gallery West – near Forum entrance is professional handled gallery space -interesting exhibitions. • Overall signage terrible – almost not existing, needs sorting-definitely • Coffee stand needs more personal – long waiting to get a coffee. • very good campus to study and live (Halls)
this is mainly a review of the security and cafe staff, whose professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness is the best in town! However, the parking facilities and signage could do with a lot of work. Overall the campus is clean, modern, spacious and well designed - even if there's been a series of leaks in the atrium which never seem to go away.
Studied art here. Lectures are non-existent. Tech staff is mostly rude and try to prevent people from using facilities through endless mandatory "inductions" which happen once in a blue moon and always full. I was never able to use dark room because of it. Also, no gym here (just a tiny room with a few weights). Not worth the price for sure.
As a foreigner staying in this campus for just one week in the summer of 2012 and having English morning classes, I'm only qualified to speak about the facilities. Personally I've never been to a cleaner, safer and more inclusive environment. I was here for a week yet I have the fondest memories of this place..
Receptionist in the Form building is extremely rude and felt somehow racist towards international student. I asked if this is the library, she replied it’s the reception ( which is obvious) instead of just showing me where it is. No greetings back, nothing, just a rude miserable face.
Considering it’s reputation the staff seemed completely uninterested the students all seem bored and miserable and the area and facilities are awful considering the overall price of studying there! Proof that London studying isn’t as impressive as you think
Academic staff, Disability Support services are great! The Registry office however..... no way to contact them directly why phone, and should take more accountability for their work and information they provide.
