This was my WORST AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE .I took my cat in an emergency case due to an open cut in her belly area. They told us that surgery and tests were needed to be performed.They told us to leave the cat and they would start their treatment. “THEY CHARGED RS.8000 and didn’t tell beforehand that we had to pay extra for the surgery and told us to see their Bill after we asked, as if we knew the list of the medical terms.X-ray was also necessary but guess what? For an emergency case too they didn’t have any health personnel for that.And when asked if it wouldn’t be late, they told that the cat could cope their wound until few hours so we didn’t need to worry. I took my cat at 9 and they told that they would put saline and make her stable and do an x-ray at 11 after their health personnel arrive. I reached there again around 11:30 but my cat was still there with an open wound and x-ray too wasn’t done which they did after we asked. The X-ray was normal.They had already made us pay full at first only but they told us that we had to pay EXTRA Rs.4500 again and to admit for one day too their charge was Rs.2500. This place (VET FOR YOUR PET)doesn’t even deserve one star. They are there just for their business and have no professionalism and any kindness towards a voiceless.Please don’t take your pets there and make the mistake.My cat and we family members went through a stressful day and had to waste 5long hours. {I then decided to take my cat to AMC where i used to take all my dogs and cats. They then told us that her area had already been infected because it had been 5 LONG HOURS.They had to make an extra hole due to the infection and perform the surgery.They did the whole surgery for around 3k and their charge was Rs.500 to admit for a day.}

The most careless vet experienced till now, my cat which had just mites was diagnosed with another virus and then said it only had 50-50 chance of survival. In spite of that we kept her for observation for 72 hrs and later researched on our own on google came to know that it was mites. We told the doctor Bhuwan about this but his pride was so big that at first he was not willing to listen to our suggestion and later he did the test and admitted it was just mites. Then after 72 hrs, we went to take our cat but they told us it will be discharged next day and the other day we were called and went there, the doctor was on leave and when we went to see our cat, the cat wasn’t moving at all and we came to know it had already gone to coma. We came to know that no doctors had come to attend our cat for the whole day and it was starved without food for 4 days with just saline water that too was dripping outside in the cage. My problem with them is despite of charging more than Rs. 4000 per day and giving nothing but one egg for the whole day and being very careless with all the doctors being very unprofessional , I wouldn’t suggest this vet unless you don’t have love for your pets. Rest in peace Coco wherever you are.

Dr Pranav is a very gifted vet who considers his work as a passion rather than as a money making venture. He has treated both of my pugs and has a holistic view of how to maintain their health and wellbeing. He takes time to get to know the animals in order to help balance their whole system rather than treating a single issue. The ethos of the Vet for Your Pet office in Kathmandu is wonderful, it feels like walking into a welcoming family. Notably all the staff and Dr Pranav get down on the floor with the dogs. There is no sign of the traditional table on which your pet is usually placed for an examination, only friendly staff offering delicious chicken. My pugs ask to go to see Dr Pranav whenever they can :-)

Exorbitant charges. (500 OPD, 500 evening, 500 registratio = Rs. 1500) I do Rs. 800 for doctor visit at mediciti). The other doc I visited had Rs. 150 as a regular charge. (-1) Did not let us near our dog when taking her blood or giving fluids. (The other vet I visited had us sit next to her and hold her) (-1) My dog was not treated for the symptoms. She had pain but no pain killers given, she had fever but no fever medication given. We brought her back giving her fluids. (-1) But they did have clean facility, vets and other were friendly. So giving the rest of 2 stars for that.

One of the best vet or animal hospital for pets. Please don't go for pet store, small vets. They don't even have facilities to check glucose level, blood test or isolation ward. I was left hopeless from the vets like MT Everest Kennel Club, Kathmandu Veterinary, Central Referral Veterinary Hospital and many more-- All these vets and pet store are totally useless until i was referred for the VET FOR YOUR PET . I have found that this is one the best team in Kathmandu valley for dogs. Thanks to the team for saving my doberman puppy from parvo. Regards, -Britisha and Manish

We rarely find veterinary clinic with good practice in Nepal.. Vet for your pet is the best place one can ever find for their pet. They understand the emotions of your pet. Everyone there is very kind and generous. Excellence in their service,with proper counseling and treatment. Not only your pet, you too will fall in love with the place. If you own pet treat them like your children, I believe. They deserve place like vet for your pet for help. One can find it expensive but trust me that place is worth your single penny. They have handsome doctors too .

HORRIBLE customer service. Couldn't take an honest negative criticism. Sold an medicine wothout any label, without any list of component, manufacturer and best before date. Which happens to be a violation of customer's right. Even refused service to our dog as we had left an negative and honest opinion. Choosing good review and a good ratings on their page over the health and well-being of an animal. Managers argued about the negative review we had written. Would not recommend the place to anyone which has no respect to the customer and has no work ethics.

We took our pet there for check up they add up our cost to 16 thousand didn’t even infor what was wrong properly mother did they have a report. Our dog was still ill and wasn’t recovering.. took to vet at Basundhara and he looks better from a day examine and medicine.. would not recommend anyone unless they wann waste their money.. Report is not public that you post it here.. Anyway Hero got much better after we took to Bashundhar Vet.. we didn’t had to spend around 15 thousand there.

Doesn't looks like vet for your pet rather just a business model that merely focuses on its image and profit whilst completely ignoring the CSR of businesses. Selling products without labels‚ manufacturing and expiry date( which is probably against the law) and not being able to handle criticism says a lot. A vet clinic that refused to give service to our sick dog when we criticized for selling unlabeled medications on a high price!!

if possible inwould give it negative stars. I once hit a dog by accident. I immediately called here and asked if i could bring it a little before opening time because of the emergency. Not only did they deny to tend to the animal they tried to shame me for causing the accident. I immediately took it to another vet and got it treated. They call themselves doctors but horrible human beings. Sad.

Worst vet, they do things you don’t ask and try giving you medicine you don’t need and then over charge like crazy. They charged me rs. 5000 for just getting flea medicine for my cats by adding a ton of extra things. When I called my other vet and asked how much he would charge me, he said rs. 650! Never go there if you don’t want to be ripped off. Never going back.

“Not a place for your pet” I have a friend visiting there regularly with her dog and I happen to know you guys didn’t treat her just because you could not accept the honest review. And You didn’t prioritize the only service you were meant to provide. And she has to suffer just because of you guys. You don’t deserve to be a vet.

They are so friendly and making the dog comfortable is always their first priority as dogs are scared at the vet. My dog was always denied to be seen at other vets as he barked. But no dog is denied treatment there like in other places, here they take very good care and understand dogs very well. Highly recommended !

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. Just had the WORST possible experience. Never going here again. Rude personnel & OVERPRICED. They didn’t even have the ability to take a feedback positively rather they just questioned our honest opinions and then proceeded to not treat my dog. Just terrible heartless people.

I had visit this place frequently for my dogs treatment. I really want to thanks to doctors for recovering my dog of skin issue. Nice place and price is also reasonable. I saw there people are reviewing of high prices in this case there are other hospitals also in nepal for low cost they can visit there

My dog jackey .. was not so much critical when I took it to pet for vet.. but they treat him without giving water n food for three days ..n ultimately jackey soul departed... Very expensive place without good treatment .. I recommend think twice before you visit this clinic .. …

Selling medicine without any labeling, no manufacturing date, no component, no best before date were mentioned. Over charging for the medicine and not taking criticism properly. Threatening the person who wrote a bad review about the page.

Its very expensive and i believe they should be aware of the people under crisis during this pandemic. And they should ask us before making the bill.Lastly i would like to say sorry to say so and i love my dog but under my limitation !!!

Never had I even seen vet being so kind and compassionate to treat pets. Doctors and all the staffs were very kind and humble. They are more over counselors to the owners about how dogs should be treated.
