They will allow you to spend your money however the service you will recieve is close to self service. I have not had one pharmacist to give me a consultation for a new. They just swipe the card saying that they did. I have had scripts sent in by my doctors several times. They just put them in the system. If they send it in that means fill it! Do not have two insurances 8 times out of 10 it will be processed incorrectly. It is a 24 hour pharmacy according to one manager the restrooms close at 9pm. They seem to try to provoke you into stooping to their level of unprofessionalism. So if you or your family are not feeling well you may want to go somewhere else or you will be in trouble. One of the night pharmacist is one of the unhappiest employee there in my opinion he is very rude. He even threw a prescription at me. If you ask someone where something is they will say I do not know in minute. The majority of the Management team are way in over their heads. Also the ATM has hours too.It is time to stop supporting these businesses around here that think people have to spend their money there. You can go to a mail order pharmacy for your regular prescriptions. Some people have to go due to lack of transportation. From now on I will only be using them if they are they are may last resort. CVS is just a few blocks down. The 800 number does nothing to improve service but i bet no check will!! They have no respect for the people in the community they work in.

I visited the location, with my receipt, to return a Walgreens brand medical device that I bought from another store. It was a medical necessity when it failed me. The cashier was friendly and the manager seemed sincere. After I explained the problem with the merchandise and showed my receipt, the female manager said I had to go back to the store I bought it from. I asked her why and after she looked at the receipt again she said because the item was over $50. The product just "happened" to be $49.99 + tax. I asked what if I bought it out of state and tried to return it. She told me I would have to call corporate. I didnt buy it out of state and called corporate. They told me returns were up to the manager's discretion. I was told I could file a complaint and possibly get a call to return to the store to make the return. That is inconvenient and a further waste of time. I don't know what criteria or justification the manager used to refuse my return, with a receipt and explanation, but that's unacceptable. Would she make an ederly or another disabled person, like myself, go through the same hassle again? Even though this Walgreen's is the closest to me, I won't ever visit again. It kinda makes me not even want to shop at Walgreen's again.

On 10/24/2020 I was shopping with a small, handheld basket with rolling wheels (provided by the Walgreens store I was visiting), I went down beauty & health, selecting items that i wanted to PURCHASE, and my sole reason for even being i this store. And I walked away from my basket because i realized the store was stocked on alcohol, i walked up to the shelf holding the alcohol and away from my basket to see the percentage on the bottles and grabbed a few, the store employee had slid my basket away and placed it behind the register and wanted me to retrieve another (unsanitized) shopping basket, totally different from the previous one I had before. She was very combative and negative towards me. I have a very lavish spending habit and dont mind paying for what i want, the cashier Shawun counted my money out and said that i only gave him $200 when i counted out $300. he even gave me money back after he said i gave him too much. The two were very rude to me and embarrassed me in a now fully occupied store. I asked for my money back and exited the store

The pharmacist at this low quality pharmacy are "uncomfortable" filling prescription medications that have been written to patients for years straight . I came into the Walgreens located at Braeswood and Chimney Rock so sick with bronchitis that I was turning red on the face, I nearly passed out in the horrible pharmacy and the pharmacist told me, I'm uncomfortable filling premithazine with Codeine for you Sir I nearly died because of the pharmacist named Elley, at Walgreens at Chimney Rock Rd and Brasewood BLD, that would not fill my prescription and I had filled the same cough medicine many times before at the same exact location of Walgreens many times in my life. In fact I filled it three times before at the same location. I fired Walgreens and went to HEB pharmacy where Stephen the pharmacy manager had absolutely no problem whatsoever filling any of my prescription medications and I will be going to that pharmacy for many years to come in my life. Do not become a victim of Walgreens in your life

I'm writing this review from the line . This has to be the slowest pharmacy on earth . I've been in this line since 3:07pm with 4 cars in front of me it's now 4:18pm and I would have left but I can't because I'm blocked in . I've been in this line the entire time just to drop off a prescription . I went so far as parking my car and going in the inside to see if it was better and the line is down to the photo department. I was able to go in the store use to the restroom and come back and the line still hasn't moved . This is absolutely horrible . They give out fake times for your prescription being ready. And it's no point of having a appointment for anything . I had a appointment for my covid vaccine and had to wait over 2 hours just to get it after arriving 30 minutes early . The customer service is horrible and overall they need to hire new staff and reorganize everything that they have going on . If I could give zero stars I would .

I’ve only shopped at this store to do a quick pick up of a couple things but recently I wanted to use the pharmacy for both me and my dad. Both times have been horrible. I had to constantly call to see if they received my prescription. They never call to notify you when the medication is ready. I had to call AGAIN and they told me it would be ready. When I arrive they tell me it’s still not ready so I have to continue to wait. It’s ridiculous! I will be switching my location at this point I have no problem with driving the extra 30 minutes. I should have knew it was bad when my local dentist said she hates the staff there because they never check their voicemails for new submitted prescriptions. Obviously the poor rating is enough proof of how the store is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY IF YOUR IN DESPERATE NEED OF YOUR MEDICATION.

One of the worst pharmacy I have gone too in a long time. The store is maintain and the stocks are mostly full but aside from that the pharmacist employees are some of the worst and slowest I have ever encountered. I was there since 12 pm and it took them more then 4 hours for them to get my prescriptions transfered from a different clinic. There was only one window open the whole time I was there and the employe looked overwhelmed and needed help. He kept asking the other pharmacist workers for assistance. The line never died down at all. It is ridiculous and unacceptable that having some many people waiting in one line.I don't understand how they could only have one cashier pharmacist working by themselves with all the customers in the back waiting and not hire more employees during busy hours.

I waited on the phone for over a hour just to see if my prescription had been sent because the automated system was out of whack, no one answered. i called from my house phone asking to be transferred directly to the pharmacy. waited on both phones, no answer. I hung up and called back, asked directly for a supervisor, and the young lady placed the phone on the counter i assume & continued to help other customers. then after 5 mins of me holding she hung up. I drove there because by this point i was over the whole waiting game. got there just for them to tell me my prescription was not sent over. Gas isn't free, and these people are getting paid to only interact with you in person? then why have a phone line? just horrible.

Worse pharmacy drive thru always take forever, long lines inside. Every time I fill a prescription it’s a problem. They will tell me it’s to earlier and then when it’s time and they have the prescription in their system ,they don’t notify you and they let it expire and I can’t use it. Then I have a new prescription and they tell me they now they only take prescription digital or whatever, but I have one already pre-written but I can’t use it. I never got a email or letter saying they were changing from not using the paper. They always fill the wrong prescription I call in for. I guess it’s good my insurance no longer taking them. Time to part ways .

This has got to be the worst store on the planet. The pharmacy techs are rude and the customer service sucks to say the least. My mother in law has had to take medication back to this store over and over after the doctor has written the prescription for brand drugs. Then when you take them back they get upset because they have to do a little more work. If you would get it right the first time you wouldn't have this problem. If you can go to another pharmacy do so. I would love to have been able to give them 0 stars

If I could do 0 stars I would. I wait for over an hour and 30 minutes on a prescription that only took 10-15 minutes!! She said there was an “insurance problem” but she fixed it and instead of putting it in for them to work on she didn’t put it until I went and asked her about it after more than an hour already past. There were people who came in AFTER me and left BEFORE me. When she finally put the prescription in. I had it in 10 minutes and was on my way. Could have waited 10 minutes if she just did her job.

Shopping at this store is like watching a episode of Caught Red handed, this store never fail to amused me when it comes to their rampant shoplifting problems here...literally the wild wild west ghetto style, security is just there to stand and collect WG money without even trying to intervene. I cannot see how they are able to stay open and make any profit. ...nevertheless it a entertaining shopping experience watching the chaos unfold.

Worse pharmacy I've been to! Every time I go to pick up medication or drop off script the wait time is unreal! I was in line for over 20 minutes before someone actually acknowledge me! And that's only because I asked twice for someone to please service me! ..and I was only going to drop off script! There were two people working behind the counter and one pharmacist and only one car in the drive thru! Worse pharmacy you can go to!

Very bad customer service when it comes to answering the phone in the pharmacy. I was on hold for a hour and 30 mins when it was my time to speak to someone the phone just rang for another 10 mins or so and someone just hung up. That REALLY SUCKS WHEN YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN WAITING HOUR AND 30 MINS TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE!!!!!! WORST WALGREENS EVER!!!!!!! THEIR NOT EVEN WORTH THE 1 STAR JUST HAD TO GIVE IT TO COMMENT!!!!

Worst pharmacy on the planet. Slow checkout line on the inside, and an even slower checkout line on the outside. They are unprofessional and rude. They will say a prescription is ready, then when you wait 30 minutes to pick it up either they have put it back or say it is not in stock! So they have to re do your pe Scorpion and want to you pull back around and wait another 30 minutes. Absolutely the worst!!!

This is probably one of the worst pharmacies to get a hold of, they don’t help you or even let you get a word in when they answer and say “Walgreens pharmacy please hold.” You can barely understand what they’re saying. I understand they might be busy but they should still have more customer service. I kept on being put on hold for over 45 min and could never speak to someone directly.

It is very inconvenient to not be able to get cash back from a store that is supposed to give cash back. For the past 3 months I have not been able to get cash back. They have had "No Cash Back" signs up. Also, in the mornings when they open the cashier is so rude like she doesn't want to be there. If that's the case find another job. I'm not rude to you so don't be rude to me.

The manager Michelle is so low class and ghetto.. Had to use the restroom first she jokingly says will I help clean the store to use, then says seconds later it’s closed. Apparently the store stays open till midnight but restroom closes at 8pm . I was standing at restroom door at 8:03pm.. This location treats patrons like trash I despise this store and Walgreens in general

Worst pharmacy I've ever come in contact with the pharmacist ( Tamaria ) after refusing tocash out a prescription that was ready for pick up ,lied sent us on a wild goose chase to a different location knowing that the would not be able to assist us,we returned to her location spoke to her a second time only to be lied again! When cornered suggest we go to CVS.

I clipped coupons an dhave clipped coupons that are clearly available UT they would not honor. What is the purpose of having digital coupons but not the ability to use them.

Ridiculous. I called the pharmacy to see what my doctor had sent my son since my husband was the one who took him, they said they were unable to discuss his medications with me that it was a hipaa violation. It’s not!! I provided all his information , So they want my one year old to call and ask ?? Get better !

Came here for prints after a different Walgreens tried to sell me pictures that's was faded and claimed that's how they print. Came here order wasn't ready as promised but the staff printed them on the spot and they where very vivid in color and what I wanted! Best price for 16x20 portrait! Will shop again!

I called beforehand to make sure they could handle Walmart returns. I was assured repeatedly this was the case. Upon arrival, I learned this wasn't the case. The manager was a reflection of the area: couldn't care less. Ghetto store, ghetto staff, ghetto area, ghetto standards. Just a place to boycott.

Worst pharmacy ever!!! NOT EVEN ONE STAR!! Waiting time is awful they never pick up calls. When the do the hang up ..I been trying to get my son's medication that he takes every day for the last past week and I don't get an answer. I SURE WILL BE CHANGING MY SERVICES. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY!!!

I had an appointment for 8:45 p.m to get my Covid-19 booster shot. I arrived 20 minutes early to find the pharmacy closed at 6 p.m. The hours posted are until 10 p.m. If the hours have changed, even if temporarily, they need to be updated on the website since everything is done online

It never fails when I come to this Walgreens the only register they have open is the 2nd island register and a line down to photo. They don't call IC3, where is the ECC? The person in the photo department looks at the line, but that is about it

They would put you on hold for 30 minutes and then hang up . If you’re not going to answer or come back to the phone, at least take 1-2 minutes out your time and say that. This is for the Pharmacy
