We use this WalMart Neighborhood market primarily for their in-store pharmacy. The Pharmacy staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The Pharmacists are all very nice and helpful and they remember who you are and work hard to meet all your needs. The store is always clean and well stocked unlike many of the Walmart Super Centers nearby. It is easy to get in and out to pick up what you need but the stock in limited if you are looking for more than food or pharmacy items. You can't get your car serviced while you shop but in terms of being efficient for a quick shopping trip that is a good thing. We have always found the store staff to be helpful and seldom have to wait in line. the self checkouts are very quick and they have added more. If you use WalMart Pay in their app you are in and out very fast. Probably one of the better WalMart experiences you can find in Nashville.
I Have supported this location since it Opened many years ago.Has always been a great place to shop. I don't know if there was an ownership change or what but now this location is understaffed and most of the ones that are there stand around and do nothing. Since the remodel it has gotten even worse. Checkout lines are seldom ever staffed except maybe one and the self help checkouts are for the birds. Last two times I was in there the line waiting to be checked by the one checker was backed up almost into the pharmacy and the line of people forced to use the auto check machines were just as long. Three times I heard employees being paged to come up front but never saw anyone. Poorly ran store Almost forgot location is no longer 24hrs another reason to go across the street
It’s quite disturbing to approach customer service while the representative is wearing visibly stained latex gloves. I asked CSM Jeff why he wore gloves and his response, “Because I handle cash and deal with the public all day.” Point taken CSM Jeff and I can appreciate good sanitary practices, HOWEVER you are only protecting yourself. Those cheap, visibly stained gloves are protecting you from the germs but not the surfaces you are working with. You are now somewhat of a vector transmitting from one surface to another. CSM Jeff should be required to A. Hand sanitize or B. Remove those gloves between each task and/or cash handling. Next time y’all are in the store remember your hand sanitizer; better yet Lysol wipes!
this store is always well stocked, easy to get in and out of (at a redlight) and ample parking. Staff is nice and we always find what we need. Unlike the store on Nolensville Rd which is very difficult to find parking, over crowded and also never stocked and the french bread there is not fresh. This location Edmondson Pike and Old Hickory has never done us wrong. We love this location and drive an extra 3 miles to shop here and we pass right by the Nolensville Rd store. Also this store is much safer then the other store which has shootings and robberies we have seen on the news and more dangerous at night.
Let me tell you !!! I was extremely impressed by the way the pharmacy went above & beyond to make sure my parents prescription were taken care of. We had to switch to Walmart because kroger dropped my parents insurance. These people(well this woman) is a blessing. The way she handled my parents was one in a million kind and through. I went into the store to grab a few things and everyone was helpful and not only help me find what I was looking for but walked me to where the product was so I wouldn't have to look. This Walmart grocery gets a five star from me because it deserves it.
If you prefer Kroger or Publix to Walmart then try the Walmart Neighborhood Market. It has Walmart prices but a larger grocery section with an additional small health and beauty area like a Kroger. The green coloring is a bit like Publix but the building looks very new and uses lots of warm browns to feel more welcoming than old grocery stores that were all tile and pale lighting. I enjoy shopping here and it's convenient for many people's commute to stop by and grab a healthy snack or breakfast.
I tend to forget this store exists because there are two regular Wal-Mart locations within a few miles of my home. Well let me say I won't forget about it in the future. This neighborhood market is awesome and compared to the two super centers down the road...it's like you're stepping into a parallel universe where Wal-Mart produce is the way it should be and staff members are friendly and helpful. Wal-Mart take some notes from this location because this is how every store should be run. Thanks!
Idk why but this Walmart Neighborhood Market doesn't even seem like it belongs in the Walmart family. It's so much better than the three Walmart stores close by. The store is always clean. The produce department is especially well stocked and the staff members actually understand what you are talking about if you happen to need help. Their curbside pickup is also extremely efficient - very fast and accurate. If you only need grocery items and you love Walmart's low prices this store is for you.
I drive past a Walmart that is literally 3 minutes from me to go to this Walmart. I love that it isn’t jam packed with people. It is clean and the shelves are organized well so you aren’t constantly trying to search for things. The self checkout lanes are quick and efficient, I prefer this over waiting in a line. The great majority of employees here are very friendly and helpful. Have I run across employees that maybe aren’t so great? Sure but in this case the good far outweighs the bad.
Wonderful place to go:. Clean, friendly, and always getting my drink right. The call ahead feature of Starbucks is becoming like a drive-through without driving through. Waiting time to get your drink when just walking in off the street has increased. When busy expect a minimum wait time of 20 minutes. That I am disappointed with but that's at every location and not a reflection of this one at Nappers Corner. I will be back, I like the place and location.
I used to love shopping at this grocery store. It always has what I need and it's not too big. They have a new person that is overseeing the self check out. She stands and watches you like the Gestapo and constantly interrupts and checks to see if you scanned the item. It makes me feel like a criminal. I will not be going back! This is especially hard for me because my daughter passed recently, and she always came to this grocery store with me.
I was recently at this Walmart with my husband purchasing wine. I forgot my wallet and as expected we were both carded and denied. Which I have no problem with. I commend the cashier for staying on top of policy. My problem is with how condescending the employee was to me and my husband. I am Asian and so i look a lot younger but I am also an adult and expect to be talked to in a respectful manner. Please address this. Thank you.
My favorite place for regular grocery shopping. I have Kroger & Publix across the street and a Super Wal-Mart a mile away but do most of my shopping at the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market Market. It has almost anything I want or need as far as groceries. It is arranged well and you can get in and out much quicker than a larger store. The staff is always friendly and have been there long enough that we kind of know one another.
Even though it's closer to my home, this store seems to not have what I need on demand. They don't restock often and it seems as if the prices are a little more than usual. They're never fully staffed. The self checkout lines are convenient, but they're overcrowded because the regular check out lines are always closed. I've seen maybe two regular checkout lines open since I moved to the neighborhood two years ago.
Best Walmart store that I ever been in my entire life. I dont have to go to publix anymore for fresh tasty produce and good costumer service because this Walmart outstands other grocery stores. Staff are very friendly and its well stocked with most groceries, and most importantly they still have the same great prices as any other Walmart. I will surely come to this Walmart from now on to purchase all my groceries.
Always a pleasure to shop this location. Care is taken in many fine ways, such as I am able to make courtesy calls out by telephone for transport or an emergency. I can leave heavy grocery bags safely behind the service desk while I do additional shopping. One addition would make it supremely the place to go for myself: a bread cutting service for bread that is sold uncut, like the artisan breads.
I am here almost daily because we aren't very good about keeping a running list in our household and it's so convenient to home. The staff is very nice and the store is easy to navigate. Areas that need improvement are keeping a better eye on expired items and produce stock. I still love this store though. It feels cleaner and like the clientele is less sketchy than other Wal-marts in the area.
I normally like this small grocery store, but I was VERY UPSET to see that at 9:00 tonight there was nothing but SELF CHECKOUT! I had $140 worth of groceries I had to check myself and bag! Ridiculous!!!! I will not come back here later at night! We should get a discount if we are going to have to act like employees instead of customers! And of course I couldnt find a manager to discuss it with.
The Nippers Corner market is always clean inside and out, the shelves are stocked and the self checkouts are working. The parking has plenty of handicapped spots for seniors that I think is a nice gesture. I see employees stocking the shelves every time I go, and it's never too crowded. The carts are retrieved from the parking lot often, so they are always available at the door.
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Accepted an order and payment from me to receive items within a 3-hour time frame. Order remained in preparation status for the entire 3-hours. Contacted the store, told they don’t have that as an option. Also the items wouldn’t be readily available for another 1-2 hours. 8 items, 5 hours, would highly recommend staying away if at all possible.
Been shopping here for years. Its okay. The only issue is the deli food is hardly ever fresh. Went in today and bought 10 cheese sticks. Got in my car and on the way home bit into them and the cheese was dry crusted and hard. Do better. There should be a set time limit and if the food isnt fresh it goes in the trash. Anyone who knows a food busniess knows that.
They don't clean their carts!!! They had an employee who wouldn't speak as you entered the store. I asked where the carts were. She pointed outside. I said they aren't clean. She pointed towards a clean wipe station at the door. Everyplace I have been to they have someone cleaning the shopping carts. Wal-Mart should be ashamed of themselves!!
Went inside Customer Service department to try to get a money order only to be told by an associate that they were closed. They were open & I didn’t see any associate that was there. I was very unhappy they were closed & I stormed out of there. If they say they were closed then they shouldn’t had the lights & register on in the first place.
I shop here every now and then. It’s so much more convenient than having to go inside a full Walmart. Plus, this store is typically clean and organized unlike the traditional Walmart experience. Also, the customer service is great. The worker’s tend to be very attentive and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this Walmart Grocery.
Just left this store and wanted to comment on how helpful one of the staff was. I was searching for a specific spice and just couldn't spot it. A nice lady noticed I was getting frustrated and joined me on my search and located exactly what I was searching for. I'm sorry i don't remember her name, but just wanted to say thanks.
I don’t ever take time to leave reviews, but our family loves this pharmacy. The staff are personable, helpful, and efficient. There have been several instances where they have gone above and beyond to help us get what we needed, and we are so appreciative. The other pharmacies around town pale in comparison! Thank you!
A surprisingly good grocery store. I assumed that since it's Walmart it must be a disaster, but this store is actually really nice and has just about everything. Way cheaper than Kroger and Publix and no discount card games to mess with. In the rare event I'm ever at Nipper's Corner again, I'll definitely be back.
A good place to get groceries at reasonable prices. Never much of a wait at checkout. The employees are much friendlier than a Walmart Supercenter. The only problem I encounter on a regular basis is out-of-stock on items I need. This appears to be related to a shortage of employees which is a pre-pandemic problem.
Over the past several months milk (skim) has been going sour before the expiration date (usually lasts for up to 10 days after expiration date), lately when returning the milk for a fresh gallon WM has been arguing with me about just exchanging the product. Not sure what that's about but it's VERY frustrating.
This is a very nice location. It is clean and well stocked. It has a few different things than super centers do, but then again I can go from one center to another and there are different items AND prices. It's nice to go for groceries and not have to deal with the rest of the center. Very nice.
I like this neighborhood market. You get Wal-Mart pricing without the big Wal-Mart feel. It's much cleaner too. However since it is a neighborhood market, it doesn't have some of the grocery items the big stores do, but that's to be expected. I like how close it is relative to where I live too.
I definitely do not recommend this Pharmacy which obviously is very disorganized. The Pharmacist and staff in the window Carol and Nicole don’t seem to care at all. I had to complete a form that was folded and discarded then I had to wait such a long for service and no one else even was there.
We have shifted most of our grocery shopping from Kroger because of prices and from the Walmart Super Store because of convenience. The Neighborhood Walmart is so much easier to get into and out of than the Walmart Super Store. Thanks Walmart for providing the Neighborhood option!
This neighborhood Walmart is way better than some of the super-walmarts in the Nashville area. Personally I hate shopping at Walmart but it usually become a necessity at some point. This store has friendly staff, a good selection and lots of interesting people to watch.
I really like this store .. ive never had any problems and I honestly think the staff here is more helpful than a regular walmart so I prefer to go here when I'm just getting groceries. The store was clean and they had regular lanes open as well as self check out
You I love shopping at walmart it is so convenient.. If I need groceries i can get groceries. If i need a oil change i can get that done while I'm shopping. Because i tend to spend more time looking. And it saves me time in the long run...I think so anyway. LOL
This was one outstanding experience! Everyone employee I encountered was smiling and very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. It doesn't have every item that a big Walmart has, but it has similar items and plenty enough to take care of your grocery needs.
I love this Walmart! It has everything I need groceries wise and the associates are so nice all the time and always wiling to help! I love when they tell me “I’m glad you picked us” or “thank you for choosing us”’. I’m so glad I live near this Walmart :)
I'd rather shop for my vegetables and fruits and meats here rather than at a regular Walmart store... Easy in and easy out.... Parking much better than the Walmart store at Nolensville Rd and Bell road... Never crowded and the staff is always friendly...
Unlike the normal walmart stores in the area, this walmart is very clean, and always full of helpful employees. I am not sure what i happening differently, but this store makes me pass by kroger and pull in as its cheaper, and cleaner than kroger.
Standard Walmart grocery store with what you'd expect, everything a super Walmart might have. A lot of the stuff is better than the Publix across the street on a lot of things. Good prices, about the same as Aldi with some good value to be found.
Customer service is so bad. The lady at the customer service is super rude and very disrespectful. Been there so many but this lady is just very very rude and so much attitude. Don’t know why they have her work at the customer service counter.
I avoid all other Walmart's besides this one. Better than ones I went to back in my home state. Even during holidays it quick, pharmacy is great-grandchildren I don't get shot of prescription but every time the pharmacist checks in with you.
Store was good but some of the produce was not good. Plus my cashier did not say hi or greet us at all. The cashier did not even say 1 word the entire time. Sorry but with those type of attitude from your employees I will not be coming back
Best prices for groceries in the area. Really clean store. Great selection of products. Excellent produce. Nice and helpful staff. Lines are always short and the store is not too big so you can easily get all of your shopping done quickly.
Avoid all Walmart's if possible if you want great deals and services don't do business with Walmart your best bet would be to go to publix or krogers you might pay more but the quality and services are way better than any Walmart can
Friendly staff and they always have their shelves stocked when I've been. I try to go when it's not busy, either before they close or right when they open. Four stars because they don't always have the freshest fruits and veggies.
This store is small but very well stocked. They have great fresh fruit and vegetables. I can often time find products here that other markets don't have. Very clean and bright store. The employees are friendly and helpful.
Tip you can get everything you normally do at the large super centers in a much smaller place.. And best thing is it's a personal store with awesome deals and it's my new grocery store.. Love Madison neighborhood walmart!!
After the name says .. its a friendly market.. never been crowded like the super centers. Very small but has all we need in one place... convenient for me.parking is easy. Staff are friendly.. love to grocery shopping..
Pharmacy is absolutely the best. The pharmacist are so outstanding, friendy, & go out of there way to help with anything. The pharmacy techs are also the best. I use the pharmacy all the time & buy groceries there also.
Signed up for grocery delivery and paid my $98 for a year's grocery deliveries with a $30 minimum. Within two weeks the minimum went up to $35 with no notice or revised agreement. Walmart does not honor their contracts.
Always a pleasure! The employees are kind and courteous. A pharmacy is wonderful and I usually always find what I'm looking for. I have noticed since Covid, their paper product prices are really no better than Kroger.
This is an awesome place to go for quick food items. Without all the fuss of a super Walmart. Makes it real easy to get in and out fast. No more parking 12 miles away just to access the store like with Super Walmart.
Honestly I prefer this Walmart over the others in this area. I'm not a fan of how the prices are higher than the larger sites on Nolensville but I appreciate the quicker checks and overall cleaner floor of this site.
Always a great store! There was an employee that was using some funky language when I went this evening, but I try to think of it's just a kid. Have respect and don't talk like that when people are around though.
Worst experience ever. Returning two items took me forever. Inexperienced executive on the customer service desk. Bad coordination with thier own colleagues. Ugh Made me so late for the next destination.
Very diverse selection but organics are way more expensive. I'm an Aldi girl myself, just went here after a Starbucks run. I would not choose this store otherwise because it doesn't have any other advantage.
Friendly staff, Walmart grocery prices without going to a superstore. Large enough but not huge. I hope they never close. My favorite place to shop. Many I know don't have one close. I hope more are opened.
Good place to shop!!! Low, low prices too!! A lot cheaper than Amazon, I recommend this store and it's in a great location!!! Good products, food items and I get your money's worth every time I go here!!
Quick and easy, in and out. Basically the same as the food section of the Walmarts...easier to get in and out of fast. Always clean, cashiers have a wonderful attitude...never had a bsd experience there.
A nice little market for getting Walmart prices without going into a big Walmart. For Bakery and produce etc I'd rather go to Publix but this is a nice less inexpensive alternative for everything else
Use to shop here all the time when I lived in the area. It's been a while since I have been here and today I went to get a few things and it hasn't changed. It's still super nice and very organized.
This is a great convenience for groceries on your way home. Some of the prices on everyday items are even cheaper than the super-sized stores. It's smaller so it's faster! Everyone so friendly
The store was very organized. However, they don't check expiration dates or rotate the food products. On October 29, I bought a tuna fish lunch kit. The crackers inside the kit were expired.
Great prices of course, but very neat, clean and super friendly and helpful employees. Don't mind shopping there at all as opposed to some locations where it's a bit messy and chaotic.
Shout out to Jonathon in the pharmacy. He went out of his way to help me get good rx set up and saved me some money. Could’ve just charged me, but he took the time to help. Thanks Jon
This store stays much cleaner than the super center close by. It also seems better staffed. After a recent visit I will be sure to stop here for basics versus the one on nolensville.
This Walmart is a great stop for groceries, and the prices are usually better than Publix or Kroger. If you download the Walmart app and scan your receipts, you can get money back.
Did on line shopping. Shawna brought my groceries out. She was Awesome. Professional and polite. What a wonderful employee you have with her. She made my shopping experience great
Very convenient. At the deli counter, it took a little long for them to find the Black forest ham to fill my order. Other than that, the staff were on top of it and very helpful
Clean and well stocked. They have a smaller inventory but it’s okay cause you don’t have to search everywhere. The pharmacy is amazing. They are so friendly and knowledgeable.
I love my neighborhood Walmart market. I do almost all of my grocery shopping here and love that there are often special discounted carts filled with things for$.50 to $3.00.
I was charged for nine cans of dog food when I only bought eight, and I had two coupons that was never applied to the total. So I was basically cheated out of $2.68 plus tax
This is the cleanest Walmart Market I have seen. Great prices and super fresh produce, plus a pretty good selection of organic foods. A good place to get most groceries.
The pharmacy has the most amazing pharmacist. They always go out of their way to assist. The store was very busy but no wait at the checkout & everything was in stock.
The lady Carol in customer service with the name badge 20+ years. Has a bad attitude, she know better just refusing to do a better job. Took my business to Kroger’s
Went to the pharmacy and got big run around. They wouldn’t answer my questions directly. Seems like they are about money and not health care. Big scam go elsewhere!
This was my first time to shop here, and I will definitely be a regular customer. Clean store, friendly staff and good selection of things I use at great prices.
This store is usually very well stocked but if I can't find an item, someone there can help me find it. Also, its easy to get in and out than at a Super Center
My new favorite grocery store. As always, you can't beat WM prices. This place is clean and not super busy. So easy to get in and out and on with your day.
This neighborhood market is the best. We get better produce from here than we do the Kroger across the street. Prices are much better than the Kroger too.
I do a lot of quick shopping here because it's Wal-Mart without the insane lines. Easy in and out, good quality perishables, no issues with their service.
A lot of Vegan options! Gardien products, Vegan Pizza, and even Vegan Mac and Cheese. Very impressed, and will definitely be shopping here from now on.
Ian Adams gave excellent service. He aided me in loading my car with work pride, thoughtless and joy! Thank you for hiring such a wonderful employee.
I almost like this place better than the full size wally world's. Just wish they would maybe stay open just a smidge later. No complaints here :)
Great store. Lower prices on cereal and staple items such as butter, eggs, bread, fruit. The employees are helpful and do not mind helping you.
At the busiest time in the afternoon, they had the back aisle of the store almost blocked with items to be stocked. Manager needs to be trained
Not many lines open late at night. So unless you're using the self check out register. You'll be standing in line Forever at a regular register
This place has very good prices and selection and is rarely crowded. With the self - checkout, it's a great place to make a quick grocery run.
This store is my favorite Walmart for grocery shopping. Great location, great customer service, and the produce department is well stocked.
This is a great store to get in and out of. Don't have to wait in line. Very conveniently located. Doesn't have everything I normally buy.
I can't describe how it was using any other words then is as good as can be clean, safe and well every time I go there I find what I need!
Super nice staff. Always clean Lowest prices though selection not fantastic it's the most convenient for groceries at nippers corner.
well store is cleaned organized and stock. looks like they don't have cashiers anymore so you have to self check out what you buy.
They don't always have good produce couldn't even find an onion I was willing to buy one day. The layout is quite confusing also.
Extremely friendly staff, the store was very clean. However the supply level was low. Probably because of the last weeks weather
NO registers open..self check out only..but 7 employees standing around at the self check ut..checking it out..so frustrating !
The place is very clean and the associates are very helpful. I love to shop here because the prices are great. Fits my budget!!
Very clean and quiet. I love the convenience. Great produce section that is kept clean and organized. I like the self checkout.
