I went to this hardware store (on 63rd Street south of Main Street) to buy some paint. I saw 4 employees in the store to help anyone who walked into the store. It's not a huge store (HomeDepot/Lowes) so this means that you'll plenty of help should you need it. I saw tools, fertilizers, keys, paint, lighting for homes, etc... If you'd like to go to this hardware store in the future because you're interested in getting some things for your home, I'd recommend doing so when you want things that will help you fix most things that you'd like to fix. I didn't take any photos of this hardware store in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri
I had a wonderful experience when I visited July8th. The kid who made my keys and helped me with a purchase was great!! When I returned the following day to exchange items for larger ones I was unable to because I didn't have the receipt. My landlord took it so he could reimburse me for keys. The policy is frustrating but I guess I understand. What I am not ok with is the ride and snide behavior of the girl at the counter. Doubtful I will return to this Ace location.
Wow, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this location. The location had me concerned, they appeared to be very small and I was afraid they wouldn't have the parts I needed. Not only did they have my parts, their prices were considerably lower then I first presumed. Making my trip to the store convenient and with the assistance of the wonderful staff....It was one of the quickest parts runs I've ever had.
I started at Home Depot today looking for a pipe adapter for a shower head. After a very frustrating 30 minutes at Home Depot, where no one could help me, I gave up and went to Ace Hardware in Brookside. In less than 5 minutes Amber helped me find exactly what I needed and while they didn't have it stock, they ordered it for me and I'll have it in less than two days. Ace beats Home Depot every day!
The older white lady working the front register on October 21st made a racist comment about asian people not being smart enough to find things in the store. Ironically, she was also unable to find things in the store, making her a useless employee in addition to a racist piece of trash. All the other workers are probably chill though, respect to them
1st 1 in the store. No welcoming committy. have only experienced lovely employees. Not this mEDorning. Instead she tells me she is the assistantt manager & she will call the police for disrespecting her. RESPECT IS EARNThe girl behind the computer actually helped me. RESPECT has to be earned
Way overpriced compared to other Ace Hardware stores. Purchased item in Grandview for $4.99. I needed another and was close to this Ace Hardware, $17.99 for the same thing. From now on, I'll go to Grandview Ave Hardware, where they dont price gouge
What an amazing store. The staff is so friendly, and their products are top notch. I stopped in this past Thursday and found some awesome succulents at an unmatched price. All of their plants were healthy and vibrant.
They fit a lot of stuff into this space. Slightly higher than a bigger store like home depot or Sutherland's but super convenient and worth an extra $0.50-1.00 for being able to walk out combine with a grocery run
As a smaller hardware store, don't expect to find everything a big box hardware carries. They do carry all the necessities though and only a few blocks from home with super helpful employees. Win, win!!!
I am delighted that Brookside now has a hardware store. Welcome to the neighborhood, Westlake Ace Hardware. You have everything I need, your customer service is excellent and I can walk to your store!
Clerks are always so bothered to get off their phone to ring up my items when I’m ready to check out. Staff is generally great, but I’ve had enough bad interactions I won’t be shopping here anymore.
Nice to a neighborhood hardaware store that you can pick up cetain neccessities. But the parking would be a little challenge if you go there during meal time in Brookside.
The Ace website did not list this location as near me. The website for that location said it had the 4 items I wanted in stock but they had only 1.
Great place! Friendly staff and easy to find what you need. I shop here weekly. Easy in and easy out. Park right outside the front door!
The staff is very friendly and eager to help you find wheat you need. They also have one of the best deals on propane refills.
I always find what I need. The staff will help you and make suggestions. I know nothing. They always make me feel I can do it.
I had three items I was looking for, and the salesperson helped me find them immediately. I was in and out in a few minutes.
Even if I don't find what I need, I find someone that knows how to help with what I need and where else to get it.
Nice folks, lots packed into a small space. Their ‘Orbit’ brand lawn sprinklers are garbage - save your receipt!
Nice, small Ace in an area you wouldn't expect. Helped my friend and I find exactly what we needed quickly.
The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Store is very clean. Great addition to the neighborhood.
Has just about everything you can think of. Courteous employees. Smaller store than most though.
Awesome staff! The manager is amazing and has put together an excellent and helpful team. 10/10.
Neatly organized products on shelves. Friendly, courteous help. Neighborhood store in Brookside.
Found exactly what we were looking for. Their inventory matched what was listed on line.
Amazing customer service!! I would support them just for the experience alone.
Great location! Manager is great. She’s always very helpful and friendly!
Phenomenal customer service! Amber, the GM was more than helpful!
Best place for just about anything unusual. Love the employees
Super helpful staff. Store had just what I needed.
Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks.
Small but has a lot of common items for home.
Generally helpful much better than box stores
Helpful staff knows where the product is.
Nice staff, easy in/ out, free parking!
Clean and organized friendly service
All are on their game there at Aces
It nice place to shop
Good
