Visited the court week commencing 21 March 2016, giving evidence. Impressed by the helpful and friendly witness service staff, the other court officials informal and efficient. Security was reassuringly tight and the staff kept busy, scanning incomers and searching bags whilst letting people in to the court kept them busy. However, they were patient and polite., could not fault. Some of the courts noisier than others with rail noise, and inevitably , a highly emotionally charged experience for probably most of the visitors. In all, very professionally managed , could not fault the experience
Megalomaniac security staff treat everybody like criminals as they come through the door. As a court interpreter, I can say this is the only court I have ever attended where this has happened. Most security staff at other places are respectful but these guys have let the power go to their heads. They are rude and obnoxious. These people are wearing a uniform and think this gives them the right to treat mature adults like naughty children. Solicitors agreed with me about this. Police officers attending court said they sailed through security because they were wearing uniforms
Appalling security staff. Security staff are simply rude, arrogant and abusive to visitors. They seem to be trained to "work to rule" in the industrial dispute manner (pre 1970's style) and their security manager seems to revel in it. This is to professional lawyers and I dread to think how they treat normal members of public. That is a shame since the court itself is pleasant, quiet and not very busy.
Was attending with a friend was struck how professional, nice and downright really amazing staff helping to keep things smooth. A credit to the court system and really can not bestow how marvellous the staff are. Felt sad to leave, just really nice good people doing an amazing job and so impressed, words fail me. Just wonderful people. Thank you for being you.
Absolutely dreadful! Security staff subject visitors to appalling search measures, much worse than the way it happens at the airports. They waste so much of our time there as the waiting time to get through the security is at least 30 minutes… I’m surprised that the Court office doesn’t do anything about it…
Did not reply to important correspondence in a timely manner. When prompted had no record of the correspondence. I suspect they deleted a request for information and did not reply, if so this is contemptible behaviour which is anathema to the courts public role.
Downstairs accommodation was a bit bland (really concretey) and the coffee was really bitter. The seats in the court were quite comfy though. Will 100% be back!
Insane levels of security set the tone and pace of this classic pantomime of justice venue. Slowwwww? Geological time prevails here. Avoid if you can.
Professional, polite, friendly and extremely helpful staff at the Magistrates Court. The Security and Usher were both very friendly.
I waited almost an hour for my order. Cold and tasteless. It's the last time I order from Mcdonald's. I wished to give you zero.
Security are a bit officious, but not very well organised generally. Apparently a tape measure is an offensive weapon! …
Terrible security team at Wimbledon bad attitude and rude customer service
I will soon but I am on the dole so I'm going to sort out a payment plan
Had to appear in court on 27 05 21 not a nice ordeal to be put through.
