"Winona Peach Festival at Winona Park Held every year at Winona Park, featuring peaches"
"Winona park is very big with lots of space"
"Quite a decent sized park"
"It's a nice little park with a lot of trees"
"Been coming to this park since I was a child and it's fantastic to bring young children- large fields, newly updated playground, outdoor splash pad, covered picnic tables annnnnd this park is the host of the Peach Festival! They've even added new pathed walkways throughout the forested area, so wheelchairs and stroller users can enjoy all the nature as well! Love bringing family and friends for a walk through here, lovely spot"
Winona Peach Festival at Winona Park Held every year at Winona Park, featuring peaches. Held over 3 days, lots of opportunities for fun, treats and nick-knacks. In this case, we came early to take advantage of the 1hr free rides offered on the Saturday. The little loved the rides and had alot of fun, which is the point. Some however may not be suited for yonuger riders, which was the case here. The rides cost 1-3 tickets with pricing for the largest allotment of tickets of 26 for $40. Lots of parking, with pricing ranging from $5-15, some for additional cost, shuttling back and forth.
Winona park is very big with lots of space. I was there for the Winona peach festival & it was great so much room for all the renders, the fair, games, pony rides etc. It was great & look forward to going to peach festival again. Idk if I'd go to the park unless there is something going on there because don't live that close. The parking lot is big, but not big enough for a festival. If you haven't been you the peach festival you should, also if you wanna check out the park go for it.
Quite a decent sized park. Plenty of on premise parking off Barton street. The splash pad is great for small kids and the nearby playground is a good size. Both of which is a short walk along a paved path from the parking. There's also a running/biking track adjacent to the park. The track is great to let the kids ride their bikes around. There's also a couple of sheltered areas to have a picnic. Overall this is a great place to bring kids to.
It's a nice little park with a lot of trees. It's got a few nice fields, bathrooms, parking, a baseball diamond, a playground, splash pad, and loads of picnic tables. This is where the Winona Peach Festival is held. Well maintained however too locked down. I would have given a 3.5....maybe even a 4 however the vibes were a little off and the sign in the front is extremely unwelcoming. No dogs during festivities and special events? Wow....

My family was at Winona Park for Peach Festival. We enjoyed the set up with many vendors, food outlet and entertainment. The food we like is "peachy cream". It comes in three layers with peach ice cream at the bottom peaches in the middle and cream at the top. Mayor candidate was there too. It is important for us to be involved in selecting our mayor as the mayor is going to shape the future of the city for our next generation.
My first visit but not my last friendly helpful people. Site very clean and loved that the booths were in the shade of a beautiful small forest! The food vendors were excellent and not expensive with a great variety to choose from. Families had a midway to amuse the children who all seemed to have won something. And the peach pies I bought were delicious.
Enough parking to accomodate the park size. Do not miss the peach festival that happens here every year. It is a fun and a wonderful experience for the entire family.
Playground
This is a huge playground for people to hang out and have a fun day at the park playing tag, having a get together or any outdoor games.
Attended the Winona peach festival, sort of a country fair surrounded by suburbia Focuses on the peach growers in the area, has a carnival midway arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, and commercial vendors .maintains a local favor. Free public transit from Eastgate mall Free handicapped parking, all others pay cash
We arrived just after the Peach Festival, so clean up was still in process, but the park is spacious and lovely. Has a paved walking trail, soccer field and ball diamond. Washrooms, bottle filling station and splash pad. Plus a decent playground set. The pavilion is large with many picnic tables available.
Overall it is a wonderful destination for families seeking outdoor fun and recreation. With its engaging splash pad and well-designed play structure, it offers a memorable experience for kids. The park's commitment to cleanliness and safety is commendable, making it an enjoyable spot for the whole family.
Politeness abounded, among us; many delights, 3 for $5, tucked away for Christmas gifts. Great music . I am enjoying these festivals in the evening; cooler; embient lighting. Rejoicing in vendors passionate artwork; friendly conversations with everyone. Thank you farmers, for the peaches. …
The Winona Peach Festival is one of the better festivals in southern Ontario. They have a number of fun activities for the kids, some pretty cool old cars and trucks, lots of really cool arts and crafts for display and sale, and lots of food choices. Good to spend a half day or so every few years.
We had a great the Peach Festival but it is VERY dated. I realize the 90's are back and in style, but many of the booths are still from that era and don't offer much for new art or product. I could quiet literally walk up to some of the booths and purchase items that I had purchased in 1998.
I've been going to the Winona peach festival for years and found this year to be a little bit disappointing. While I know they were shut down for a couple years due to COVID regulations, it was important to be able to afford for the visit and everything needed or seem to be more expensive.
We enjoyed the peach festival craft venues, really really disappointed that on the very first day of opening a few hours into the opening that they ran out of peach pies. Only reason we bothered to go. And according to the people working there, that was all they made for the 3 day event !
Another year at the peach festival wow always a great time grandchild tall enough for the bumper cars this year he got me good a couple of times peaches were very nice and big I love peach harvest time in Ontario lots of crafts fun rides tasty food you just cant go wrong
Great park. Went for the Peach Festival, which is always a great time. Rides are good for younger kids, no wrist band passes for rides anymore. Wiffle-ball toss game will keep most coloured cups covered, thus decreasing your odds of winning.
The Peach Festival... Our annual. Okay... You know they have done this for many years and made a lot of money. You would think they would use some of the profits to put in decent bathrooms. Those plastic bathrooms are disgusting.
Everything was organized extremely well, the craft booths were spectacular, the rides for the kids was a lot of fun and for different ages. And finally the obvious, the peach sundaes were fantastic …
We discovered this place by accident while looking for a washroom for my son on our way to Niagara. They have amazing splash pad. This is a great spot to visit for kids and have a rest during a long drive
Every year in August the town of Winona holds a three day outdoor peach festival. It's pretty typical - rides for the kids, commercial booths, booths with handcrafts, and even booths selling peaches.
After our Sun Valley Firm picking our couple families were really looking for some quiet and clean park nearby to have our lunch together. Good, we found a perfect place - Winona Park. …
Excellent park with big playground and Waterpark and lots of open area to play sports with lots of parking. Close by Sun Valley Farms and does have washrooms but they are dirty.
Great public park on Barton Street, directly across the street from the new St. Gabriel Catholic Elementary School. There is even a "Splash Pad" that operates in the summertime.
Went to the Peach Festival here. Great for family and children. Best vendor was the people selling the giant peach Sundays for 5 dollars. The line was long but it was fast.
Very well organized and lots to see and eat. peaches and pie and peach waffles were great. Will go back again next year and hope bee farmer is there selling his honey.
Peach Festival was great and organized. Plenty of garbage can, washrooms and out houses were decent, definitely a good time and will come back to visit next year.
Another great event that is free to the public. Reminder to all who would be going to the event in 2018 to park in approved areas which comes with a small fee.
Great area! Beautiful location and a very fun festival! Glad coming back here for the peach fest. Traffic gets a bit busy in the area but they handle it well.
We go to the Peach Festival every year. Something everyone needs to go to. Local economy. All vendors are different as is the food. So much to choose from.
Winona park is where the Peach festival is held every year during the last week of August...most famous for their "peach Sunday" icecream, so delicious!
Public washrooms a big bonus. Splash pad is ok, shaded area with picnic tables in forest but far from pad so bring blanket and umbrella for shade. Clean
The peach festivalis the premiere event in Winona and is held here. Have been going for over 30 years. Free admission. Nice quiet Park otherwise
Went for the easter egg hunt. Dont get me wrong it was free, however it was a total free for all in every way. We will not be going there again.
Peachy! The cobbler defied all expectations! A sumptuous mix of brown sugar, whipped cream and exquisite Ontario fruit! Winona forever indeed!
Nice an quiet little Park. There is a small splash pad and a small playground for the kids. Very well maintained. Plenty of parking space.
Was there for the Peach Festival. Parking is extremely limited for this sort of event, and a lot of the park is not really visible.
Great little splash pad with some nice wooded areas. Also some nice park equipment. Lots of grassy areas and some picnic tables.
Good place for 8 and under..playground is very nice and clean and splash pad is great fun..lots of benches to sit on as well
We went there for the Winona Peach Festival, but whenever we go to the park it is always well kept and an enjoyable place.
Great little park nestled in the Winona community. Playground is good and it has a great splash pad. Good area for walks.
Cute little park. Great for dog walks and kids to splash pad. Sports fields and host of Peach Festival. Nice treed area.
Great place to take your grandchildren! They can entertain themselves with the splash pad and new climbing equipment!
Beautiful park with splash pad, pavilion, swings and creative, baseball diamond and soccer pitch. Great parking too.
Beavers are Mondays at 6:30 - 7:30, Cubs Tuesdays 6:45 PM - 8:15 PM, and Scouts meet Thursdays from 6:45 to 8:45 PM
Peach Festival is a amazing experience every year and please don't leave the park without a peaches and ice cream.
Love this park, great for little ones with options for the splash pad or the park and the SUPPIE here is awesome
Great playground and splash pad. Lots of picnic tables and a pavilion that can be rented for large gatherings.
Such a great time!!! Wjnona peach festival with the family. Rides, vendors, food, entertainment. So much fun
Nice play center, splash pad is great. Picnic facilities and often City employees out to entertain children
Here for the Peach Festival ... always a good time with great vendors. Don't forget to get a peach sundae.
Nice park with good playground, swings and a splashpad. Decent picnic area as well. Washrooms on site.
Nice park for family with kids.Los of space, play ground, pavilion and trails for running and jogging.
Winona peach festival is the only time I visit here and it is always busy but we have a great time.
Nice little park and splash pad, just need the garbage cleaned up from the surrounding tree'd area.
Great place. Has a splash pad. We were there for the winona peach festival. Great family day out.
Great event this weekend. The peach festival . Largest Friday night crowd in history of the event
Been here for the Peach Festival. The place was organized and clean. The parking lot it's small
Great to see all the people and vendors enjoying the festivities and weather. (Peach Festival)
Excellent kids splash pad, Hamilton reopening staff was engaging kids in planting activities
Great neighborhood park, nice wooded area, splash pad, swings and playground for the tots...
I went here because of the Peach Festival, especially for the Peach Sundae, just love it!!
I'm not a big fan of the place it's was so packed and I didn't really enjoyed it that much
Great splash pad for the kids. Covered picnic area. Nice paved pathways with mature trees
Great park with some trails for walking. Also a pretty good sized splash/spray pad.
Winona Peach Festival should be on everyone's calendar for a fun time with family!
Nice park with a splash pad. Home of the Winona Peach Festival. 24th-26th 2018.
I got stuck in the mud the whole time I was there because I am in a wheelchair
If you like local festivals, this is the best!! Been going for about 15 years.
This place Needs some update . beautiful park but kids need more activities .
