I work at a seniors home and today we did a group outing to Yesterday's Auto Gallery. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by their Receptionist (not sure the correct spelling of her name). She was SO friendly, and created a welcoming atmosphere immediately. After meeting with the gentleman Bill, he directed us to the awesome looking retro diner where we met Mona. Both Mona and the Receptionist worked diligently to get about 12 orders out to us. It was worth the wait! The food was well prepared, perfect temperatures. (I LOVED the strawberry milkshake!) Mona also came around and made sure that everyone was satisfied with their order, and chatted for a bit with the seniors. After lunch, Bill took us on a guided tour (guided & self guided for about an hour). He also brought out a couple cars to show us up close. There are tons of cars to see, as well as some motorcycles. He also mentioned that they bring new ones in every so often. Overall, we had an excellent experience. I would recommend checking this place out, from the staff, to the displays to the diner. Thank you so much to Bill and his staff for providing us with so much this afternoon. We would definitely come back again!

Hello! Just wanted to share an experience I had here yesterday. My roommate brought me here for my birthday because she knows I love cars and milkshakes haha. We went into the restaurant first before the gallery, I have to say the service the moment we got in from every employee was amazing and truly over the top experience alone. They served one of my favorite milkshakes ( Tiger Stripe ) and it was the best milkshake I've had in along time! After eating good quality food with great service we went into the gallery, after looking at a few very cool & historic cars, we were accompanied by an older gentleman ( apologies I do not remember his name) who had not only gave us a great tour, but informed us of the history of the cars and even let us sit in one ( personal favorite of the tour)! Everyone that came with me that day really enjoyed themselves, the staff in the restaurant , the gallery deserve a great review , highly recommend. We will be back! *Edit: We did not inform the staff it was my birthday, the service was still special & memorable.

I think it would be really neat if there was some sort of interactivity to the gallery, although I do understand that it may not be feasible as it would cause wear and tear to vehicles. For example, I think it would be neat for a learner driver to be able to sit in an older car, as I think it would be really neat to compare cars of today to the classic cars. Overall, we had a great experience! The food in the diner, although I did find it to be a little bit pricey, it was delicious, the order was accurate and the service was top notch, we felt really welcome! The staff is extremely friendly! 10/10 I would recommend a visit!

A really superb collection of classic cars from the 20s and 30s to the present day. The museum itself was crisp and clean and designed with these cars in mind. The guide was very knowledgeable and had lots to share about each and every car. However, for someone like myself who isn't really a car person per se it was quite a lot to absorb and some information gets lost in the delivery. In future perhaps a placard or electronic display panel at each car could be helpful. Each display could have the basics and some other information like how many were made of that model or why that colour was chosen. Then you could always talk to the guide if you want to know more. All in all well worth the time and the money.

Seen an add on tik tok for Sylv’s diner, decided to check out the website and turns out they also have a large selection of vintage and classic cars to view. We went for my dads birthday; what a lovely overall experience! A hidden gem in Edmonton! If you’re a car enthusiast, this is a must see! Or if you want a retro dining experience, this is a good place to go! The only thing I could think of that would have made this experience better is if the diner was more like a restaurant with service. It was set up more like a fast food counter. But that’s not a complaint, just a preference. The food was lip smacking delicious!

Terrific, clean, well-lit venue with informed volunteers ready to answer any questions. Everything about the location is very classy yet down-to-earth. The automobiles themselves are the real stars, of course, and they did not disappoint: a great, eclectic collection of mint condition classics. I wish we could've had a closer look at the vintage sedans elevated along the back wall. And we were not able to experience the diner as it was closed for a private event. But we'll surely return. This is a great outing for sharing with your elders---the collection and diner are likely to bring out some fond memories and maybe even some personal stories.

My family hosted a private party here in June 2023 for my dad’s 80th birthday. Ted, the general manager, was wonderful to deal with and made everything so easy for me. Mona, the diner manager, oversaw the food and provided excellent, friendly service. The food (we had simple buffet fare of burgers, salads and tomato soup) was tasty and well presented. The auto gallery was immaculate and there were so many beautiful, interesting cars to look at. If you have a classic car lover in your life, I highly recommend bringing them here.

Fantastic place to visit. Outstanding collection of cars and trucks from the 20s all the way to the 80s. The attraction is always changing and there is always something new to see. Bike nights as well and they have a beautiful retro malt shop that serves awesome ice cream and shakes. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and add to the great experiance. Place is all non profit as all the admissions and food sales get donated. Kid friendly as well. Great place to spend an afternoon with the family.

Weird place, Super dissapointing. I had a rushed entry from a strange lady and finished the gallery within 30 minutes. I did not see the value for the $20 I spent. With the exception of a GNX, a GT350 and a few others, was seriously mid selection. Hopefully they can put some more interesting cars with some better write ups. Also, have a strange garage sale vibe in the back I was going to purchase some things from, but they closed it without any warning. I was really rooting for you guys. Lol

The cars in this place are very cool, and that is without question. The price doesn't justify the visit however. $55 for 2 adults and a child is just too costly for the experience. You can see all the cars in about 10 minutes. For the price there is other things you can do that are better bang for your buck. Or wait until summer months and go to all the carshows around the city and use that money to give to charity. You will no doubt see the cars in this museum at shows in the summer.

What an amazing car collection! Most of these are all owned by one guy who wishes to share them with the public. It's a very cool layout and he even has a 1950s themed diner that you can order reasonably priced basic food milkshakes drinks and ice cream at! There is a gift shop. They have a Facebook page and website. All the staff are super friendly and willing to chat about the cars, swap stories etc. I felt right at home. I'll definitely spread the word and I'll be back even though it's a 13 hour drive for me it's worth it. Thank you!

What a treat to spend a rainy Friday at Yesterdays Auto Gallery. The vehicles on display in this beautiful facility were outstanding and the staff/volunteers were fabulous!!! We were super appreciative of the tour we got, hearing details and unique histories of the cars. I wish I can remember the name of the gentleman who showed us around as he did such an awesome job! You made my car enthusiast husband extremely happy! Thanks for creating this very unique car museum; we will be back!

A hidden GEM! A 1950's style diner combined with a LARGE Collection of CLASSIC CARS and TRUCKS. Enjoy the food and STAY to enjoy dozens of Classic Cars and Trucks. I can't stress enough that this dining experience is UNPRECEDENTED in Edmonton. Arrange a Birthday Party or FUN event in a Large Classic Car setting! Or just drop by for a hotdog, milkshake and experience the joy of admiring Classic Mustangs, Corvettes, Trans AMs and other Classic vehicles!!! A MUST for Car Lovers❤️ #Cars #ClassicCars #diner #YEG #YEGclassicCars

Great place to visit if you are a vintage car enthusiast! Would highly recommend. The price of entry is very reasonable. The only suggestion I would have is for Sylv's Diner is to use numbers for each order and plastic number for the patron to put on the tables for those bringing the order out can find the table easier. This method is used at other fast-food restaurants and it works really well. Less stress on the staff. Other than this tiny suggestion. The decor is great and the staff work really, really hard. Great job.

I attended this gallery to see an Elvis Tribute Singer. This place is a hidden gem. The vehicles housed are magnificent. I never thought of myself as someone who enjoys older vehicles, but these cars and trucks are really beautiful. The 1950's diner is so much fun and the food is good. Very unique decor in the washrooms. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. I have already shared my positive thoughts about Yesterdays Auto Gallery with my Facebook friends. This place is definitely a must see in Edmonton.

What a fun and nostalgic experience. Our group ranged in age from 6 to 66 and we all had a blast. The cars! The oversized hotdogs and thick yummy old-fashioned milkshakes! The decor in the diner! A trip down memory lane for us old timers and a chance for the youngsters to experience our history. Each and every staff member took the time to make sure we were all having a great experience! We will definitely be back!

Super disappointed that I attempted to take my 5-yr old grandson to the museum after I got off work, we talked about it all day, we got there at 5:15 and watched someone lock the door right in front of us. It said on the sign it closed at 6, and on the website. Very disappointing for the little guy. It’s unfortunate when businesses don’t keep their hours up-to-date.

My grandson is autistic and in OBSESSED with older cars lately so we decided to all go for his birthday lunch. We all had a blast and enjoyed checking the amazing vehicles. It was even more rewarding to know that our entry fee goes to help several different charities. Don't forget to stop in at Sylv's Diner the milkshakes were divine.
