Worst decision of my life. To be honest, i didn’t think i would write something but 3 months later, here i am at the salon trying to repair the damaged he did to my hair. so I need to share. I have brown hair and originally wanted browner subtle hues, perhaps a balayage but browner. Maybe i didn’t understand the concept… in any case, he suggested lighter would be better. So i agreed to go a little lighter. I got totally influenced. Little did i know he completely bleached my long healthy brown hair. He put these blond greenish colour highlights all over my head, spread un unevenly- starting from very root of my hair and spread absolutely everywhere on my head ! It looked like i had done it myself blindfolded at home. He also looked tired and got himself a drink in the middle of the session. My hair is burnt, now its turning green he charged me 280 euros for this. + lets not forget all the products i had to buy to keep the hair on my head. He didn’t listen to what i wanted and even if he took a risk he made a horrible job. How can we go from darker to completely bleached ! My other hair dresser in Paris was also was furious. And more than the fact that my hair is blonder, it’s more because the method he has is absolutely abrupt and damaging for the hair. It just really looked awful like someone who had no idea what he was doing and i think you ladies should know where to out your money and your trust. It’s the first time this happens to me.

I was in Florence for a wedding in early Sept and broke my arm. I have very long hair and was unable to wash my hair, (never mind style it or do an updo). The day of the wedding I was beside myself as to what to do since none of the salons near me had any available appointments. Walking down the street I came upon Ziziai. The owner stated he had a client coming in for a haircut in a few minutes. When we I asked if he could just wash my hair he welcomed me in. He was wonderful and insisted on finishing his work even after his client arrived for his appt. His client was even googling different hairstyles for me! Lol! Not only did he blow out my hair but styled it in a wonderful updo which was elegant and cool for the hot weather. I cannot recommend him enough as for his compassion, professionalism and his exceptional work. This is the only way I can extend my sincerest appreciation and thanks!!! If you don’t stop in for a visit you are missing a wonderful experience with a true professional in hair care! Thank you again Ziziai!!!

I have been coming to Florence for work and pleasure for 20 plus years and the first thing I do is run directly to see Simone and Valeria at ZiZiai Salon. The hair cut, blow dry and makeup is by far the very best I have ever had in New York and Europe. I have used them for formal events such as weddings for hair and makeup and for Informal but very needed when traveling great hair and nails. Every experience has been more than excellent. I have referred many friends and colleagues to them and all have been more than thrilled with the results. Most post photos of the incredible makeover they receive and thank me so much for the recommendation. This is a definite must visit in florence and they will also come to your hotel or event location if you plan in advance. THANK YOU ZIZIAI for making me look my best always!! I came into Ziziai after Googling “Best Hairdresser in Florence” and all I can say is… wow. From the moment I stepped into his studio, I felt like I had known Simone for years. I’ve visited salons all over the world in my travels, and I’m very particular about who cuts and colors my hair. The color and cut were absolute perfection. And the blowout. THE BLOWOUT. The one-client-at-a-time elevated experience was the icing on the cake. For all non-Italian speakers, Simone speaks perfect English. The conversation is always enjoyable and flowing. The tunes, the scalp massage, the positive vibes— you’ll feel like you just left a day at the spa. No doubt I now have the best head of hair in Florence. I’ve already rebooked a flight because I will never go to another hairdresser after my experience with Simone at Ziziai.

I visited Ziziai for a wedding hair and makeup trial with Valeryia. It was such a wonderful experience and I loved the single-seat salon. On the day of the wedding, Valeryia was phenomenal! She did the makeup for four people along with my hair and makeup. She created a soft wave on my long hair, and a very natural, glowy makeup look. Valeryia was wonderful to communicate with to coordinate logistics for my destination wedding, and I would highly recommend!

What has conquered me is Ziziai’s concept: one chair, one client, one stylist. You will sit on the chair and Simone, the owner, will take care of you. For real. No rush, no stress, no useless noise. Simone is a farly good man and he knows how to treat every situation. In addition there is Valerya, a pro of the endless beauty world! Ask her for impeccable make-up and nails. I highly recommend ziziai. The small studio has a warm environment located right in the heart of Florence. Simone, the owner and hair stylist, is not only a kind and welcoming person but truly a master of his craft. His one chair one client concept makes it so the artesenal experience is tailored to you, the customer. Given that this is where I have gotten the best haircuts I have had, the price is more than fair.

Legué a este pequeño pero hermoso salón, buscando reseñas por internet, estaba de Visita en Florencia y tenia deceso de un cambio y realmente llegue a las mejores manos a las de Simone, el dueño que de manera muy personalizada es el mismo quien te atiende, trabaja también junto con una maquilladora, es un hombre en cantador y excelente profesional. Si pasa por Florencia no dejen de pasar, no se van a arrepentir.

If you appreciate an excellent haircut from a true artist, Simone is your guy. Far more than a standard cut. This is an authentic experience from a true local who is passionate about his work. Not only was the cut itself great, the conversation we had, the venue, the atmosphere, etc was all perfection. When I travel back to Florence next, stopping in here will be my first priority. 10/10.

The owner is the one who does your hair. He pays so much attention to you and knows what he’s doing. He’s very experienced, my friend and I are so happy that we found him. Our hair has never looked better. My friend got the perfect cut and style and my style was so well done. If I lived here, he’s the only person I’d ever go to. Grazi!!!
