This small museum contains a range of icons in varying states of preservation from the 16th to 19th centuries. You can also see ecclesiastic equipment like chalices, stoles, pectoral crosses and so on plus a Venetian baptismal font. It's not really a 'Byzantine' museum per se since everything there dates from the Venetian period at the earliest. The five small rooms can be seen in half an hour easily unless you're particularly interested in iconography and want to stay longer. For €1 it's worth it.
Poor service. The people here rush at you demanding you hide your phone and show empty hands to avoid you from taking pictures. The exhibit is very small and rather dull in terms of selection. Compared for instance with nearby Larnaca castle exhibit which is nice and you can take there as many pictures as you like. The entrance fee here is 1 eur
Beautiful orthodox church. Very well kept, it is absolutely a must visit, as well as the tomb of Saint Lazarus inside it. There is a basement that goes down to it. If you are in the area, I fully recommend going to visit. I enjoyed the visit very much even though I am an atheist.
No byzantine objects there, except few coins which are wrongly described. the staff is very unpleasant - especially a woman with short dark hair
