What a sad zoo. Among all the zoos I've had the opportunity to visit, this one unfortunately stands out for its subpar living conditions for the animals. I wonder if professionals are truly ensuring the well-being of the animals here. I even wonder if I wouldn't encourage everyone to visit the zoo, as it would contribute financially to its maintenance and the well-being of the animals If you are looking for volunteers to help care for these poor creatures, I would be willing to get involved. The current conditions are alarming. For instance, I observed that the tortoises, of which there are at least fifty, have only a small puddle of water to swim in, with no adequate space. The monkeys appear undernourished, very thin, and desperately searching for food on the ground. The hippopotamus is hiding in a corner, with its head against the wall. The snakes are confined to spaces so narrow that they cannot stretch or move freely. The flamingos are in visibly dirty water, and their enclosure appears half empty. I also noticed goats with enormous udders that seem to have not been milked, hindering their ability to walk, as well as another goat with two broken front legs. Some kangaroos have head injuries. The fish aquarium is in a pitiful state with no security, as we can open the aquarium ourselves. The situation is simply unacceptable. Should I continue to report these issues? My outrage toward this zoo is profound, and it is imperative that your establishment takes immediate action to improve their living conditions. Even a five year old child could recognize the distress of these animals....

Absolutely cruel and horrible torture chamber of a zoo. Animals were all under weight and not nearly enough water for such conditions. There were different species all crammed together and the cleanliness was despicable . Those who have put a 5 star review are as bad, as it simply is not hard to see the harsh conditions that these creatures are kept in. The monkeys were severely malnourished and there was not a single drop of water in sight . The emus had hardly any feathers and looked weak and dazed . The aquarium part , a dead fish with which looks like fluffy white decomposition on it . DO NOT GO!

The children really enjoyed their visit to Limassol's Municipal Zoo. The zoo is wheelchair accessible, the "ticket" to enter is a bit antiquated. You buy your ticket to enter then immediately place the tickets in a box, which seems like a waste of paper if it's simply used to tally entrants. The animals are in clean kept pens and some were rather friendly. Our children loved the Marias from Patagonia, related to Guinea Pigs. The found the amorous Turtles amusing too! The Reptile enclosure was small and the addition of the aquarium seemed somewhat an afterthought.

The zoo is small but very nice. There is shade everywhere, it is very pleasant even on the warmest days. There is also a small aquarium. There is also a playground inside the zoo itself. As soon as you get out of it there is a huge children's playground and also a restaurant. Its location is very good. Opposite it is the beach. It is only a few minutes from the center and the Marina. This is one of my favorite places in Limassol! I recommend everyone to visit it.

Great little place in the middle of town, it's a little awkward to find as it's on a side street but it's ideal for kids as there's a large playground there too. It's well worth a visit to pass a couple of hours as it's only 5 Euro to get in and it's a change from the pool or beach.

This surprisingly large zoo considering the location is a great half day out for children and grownups alike. Apart from the usual birds and farm animals, there's a cayman, monkeys, meercats and a hippo. Young children especially will enjoy themselves between the animals and the playground. For €5 each it's a good afternoon. Unfortunately the reptile area was closed.

Very nice place, there were also places to sit and much shade. There was also a small cafe to buy stuff and sit. But i was thinking that it could be bigger for the animals to have even more space, its still spacious though. Recommended if you visit Cyprus

Quite small zoo and nothing to special to see. (They have otters though which is always a huge plus.) Don't expect to spend a lot of time there. However, I would say this place is a good option if you have some time to kill waiting for your Intercity bus. You can watch some animals, buy a drink and sit in the shade.

For €5 it was a decent visit. Not worth a trip into Limassol if you aren't doing anything else though but if you're in the area it's a nice walk around for half an hour and the gardens / playground around it are nice with a good amount of shaded areas to sit whilst the kids play. Περισσότερα

Nice small zoo park which will add some interesting point to your day with kids. It requires around 1,5-2h. I really appreciated sun covers over playground for kids, that provided nice shadow

Well worth a visit if you have children under 10, five euros for adults and two euro s for children, it's small but the pelicans and hippo and flamingos stole the show, a cafe on site for refreshments and( not expensive) I can say our family loved it there's also a playground …

Μια ευχάριστη επίσκεψη στον χώρο του ζωολογικού κήπου,κυρίως για τα παιδιά,αλλά και για λίγη δροσιά κάτω από τα δέντρα ή στο καφέ που υπάρχει μέσα. Λίγο καλύτερη συντήρηση και καθαριότητα θα δώσει καλύτερη εικόνα και θα αξίζει τα 5 € της εισόδου για ενήλικες και 2€ για παιδιά.

The zoo is nice but the Animals are treated very badly. I would come here again if I knew I was supporting something like this. Bird have cut wing feathers so they can’t fly!!

Animals seemed well cared for and happy except for larger birds.. but that's the same everywhere. Pretty and green.. very clean. My daughter loved it. Good price. Her favourite was the river ray.

The zoo was too small and was missing a lot of exotic animals. For the price of 5 euro i expected to see a lot more than a borderline petting zoo but it was an all round enjoyable experience and a good way to kill some time

Μπορείς να πάς μια βόλτα, μια φορά να τον δεις ειδικά αν έχεις μικρά παιδιά. Δεν είναι περιποιημένος όσο θα έπρεπε και δεν γίνονται αλλαγές ή και τροποποιήσεις ως προς το καλυτερο που να σε τραβήξουν να ξαναπάς .

Really good experience with lots animals to see at low price cost and also lots of renovations done perfectly. There's a good park for the kids to play safe in the zoo place

Really beautifull, well designed, cool animalls, great fun especialy for little kidds :) even a playgrpund on the end of the zoo, and just before beautifull park. Great atracction, jist fir 5 e recommended :)

Very few animals, price was fair, based on very little amount of animals, but it was a pleasant outing, while spending the day in Limassol.

Animals are kept in a not so good condition. Also, during our visit, there were no hippopotamus and crocodiles.

Small but nice zoo, unfortunately no restaurant available inside, do not forget to buy some water.

Great little zoo with Mouflons. The kids really loved it but they do need a souvenir shop.
