One of the best museums in Belgrade. Tells a lot of the story of Yugoslavia until the late NATO bombing. It could use better international descriptions and lighting, as the later in most exhibitions was a little dark to see. I specially liked the more medieval part, but it’s such an interesting place. I didn't expect it to be so big. I walked in not expecting much but it was brilliant. Spent 90mins walking around and taking photos here. So much to see, most of the information translated to English too. Ticket also got us onto the warship on the river afterwards which was cool too.

Very good chronologically placed exhibition depicting the Balkan military history in general. Worth every moment for history lovers. There is also open exhibition which is around the Military museum object and its consisted solely of heavy ordnance.

Must go if you are into military history, simple as that. It lacks a lot in the department of English translations of most items on display but even then the whole “story” told in it can be understood quite easily. It is not the best museum… Више

Surprisingly a lot of military equipment is displayed outside of the museum, so free to explore. It's located in the Kalemegdan fortress where statues and monuments exist. Recommended!!

A very interesting museum with excellent collection both inside and outside. The admission fee is low but you need to pay in cash so make sure to have some when you visit Kalemegdan

Great presentation of Serbian and Balkan history. Some historical facts should be updated with the most recent discoveries, but overall its great. Више
