Това е една от малкото сгради в София,която се намира на ниво под земята. Църквата е много малка,но с много богата история за България,което я прави уникална забележителност и място което всеки родолюбец трябва да посети най малко един път в живота си. Тук е погребан апостола на свободата Васил Левски.

Древната римска гробница от IV век е символ на проявите на ранно християнство по нашите земи. Разполага със запазени стенописи и рисунки от времето на Пимен Зографски и се твърди, че е послужила и за гробница на Апостола на свободата - Васил Левски, но тези твърдения, все още не са неоспорими.

Not very friendly staff member just stared at us like she didn’t want us there. We did not feel welcome. Also you cannot take photos for some reason, even without flash. We left as we did not feel welcome without even looking around properly. You cannot go upstairs as it is closed off. Още

Church is actually closed to the public. Tourist office told me to ask the lady who manages the church to let me in, which I proceeded to do together with two Bulgarian women. She let them in, but not me. Rudely shouted 'no' and slammed the door behind her.
