KARACHI UNIVERSITY can be a good option for students, but unfortunately they lack many things, first thing is their security, I went to Karachi university only one time and on that day I regretted going there, pathetic staff, unfortunately no security, no cameras, no responsibility. It is more than a jungle, i know how old it is but still if they are charging fees they should do some maintenance also provide some safety and security, dogs are roaming around, students are smoking, it is not about smoking but I think people should know basic rules and regulations of a University or any Educational Institute. New semester students are being raged, I saw it from my own eyes. Overall it was a very bad decision going there, their educational department is far better than other departments 10/10. It was highly maintained and clean. The worst department was VISUAL DEPARTMENT. Pathetic. Even the staff there didn’t give us any information we went to know about admissions and all they said was you will get it online. Would rate it 1/10 UBIT Department was also fine it was 8/10. Also if you want to go to KU you better be using SILVER JUBLEE GATE to enter otherwise you will get tired of walking it is a very big university. But they need to work on them. ایک عورت کہتی ھے کہ شادی کے 17 سال بعد میں اس نتیجہ پر پہنچی . . کہ مرد خدا کی خوبصورت ترین مخلوق ھے. وہ اپنی جوانی کو اپنی بیوی اور بچوں کیلئے قربان کرتا ھے یہ وہ ھستی ھے جو پوری کوشش کرتا ھے کہ اس کے بچوں کا آیندہ مستقبل۔ خوبصورت اور اچھا بنے لیکن اس قربانی کے بدلے ھمیشہ اس کی سرزنش کی جاتی ھے اگر کبھی فریشمنٹ کے لئے گھر سے باھر قدم رکھے تو بے پرواہ اور اگر گھر میں رھے تو سست اور بیکار اگر بچوں کو غلطی کی وجہ سے ڈانٹے تو وحشی اگر بیوی کو نوکری سے روکے تو متکبر اور رعب جمانے والا اگر ماں سے دلجوئی کرے تو ماں کا لاڈلا اور اگر بیوی سے پیار بھری باتیں کرے تو بیوی کا مرید اس کے باوجود مرد دنیا کی وہ ھستی ھے جو اپنے بچوں کو ھر اعتبار سے خود سے بہتر دیکھنا چاھتا ھے باپ وہ ھستی ھے جو اپنے بچوں سے نا امیدی کے باوجود عشق کرتا آور ھمیشہ ان کی بہتری کے لئے دعا کرتا ھے باپ وہ ھستی ھے جو اپنے بچوں کی اذیتوں کو برداشت کرتا ھے جب وہ اس کے قدموں پر قدم رکھ کر کھیلتے ھیں اور جب بڑے ھو کر باپ کے دل پر قدم رکھتے ھیں باپ وہ ھستی ھے جو اپنی بہترین ثروت بلکہ جو کچھ اس کے پاس ھے اپنی اولاد کو بخش دیتا ھے- اگر ماں اولاد کو 9 مہینے پیٹ میں اٹھاتی ھے تو باپ پوری زندگی اپنے فکر و دماغ میں لئے پھرتا ھے اس وقت تک ھی عورت کی دنیا اچھی اور خوبصورت ھے جب تک گھر کا سرپرست سالم ھے ....... It was once renowned as one of Karachi's top universities, but regrettably, its maintenance has dwindled over time. The institution's reputation for academic excellence has suffered due to inadequate upkeep, impacting its overall standing in the education sector. Despite its past reputation as a leading Karachi university, its present condition reveals a stark contrast. Neglect and lack of investment in infrastructure and resources have eroded its educational standards, hindering its ability to provide a quality learning experience.

The University of Karachi is the largest university of Province Sindh. It is located in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal / Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi. It is the largest university in terms of area, departments and faculty. It offers a wide range of programs from History to Computer Sciences (contemporary). The only deplorable thing is condition of buildings same as the case with all governmental institutions. It dearly needs improvement in infrastructure.

It is one of the best government institute in Karachi. It has several departments who offers variety of courses. Thousands of students studied there. All departments have seminar library which have a collection of the relevant department. It has one common huge library mehmood Hassan library who has almost 10000+books.

Not satisfied after seeing this university, very low maintenance,fees bohot ziada ha or department ki halat bohot ziada kharab ha ,har jaga kachra,bushes ha ,soooo sad ,jitna fees ha us lihaz sa 20 % ha mushkil sa,visit university today but not satisfied literally.

کراچی میں قائم پاکستان کی ایک بڑی جامعہ ہے۔1951ء میں اس عظیم جامعہ کی بنیاد رکھی گئی۔ جامعہ کراچی میں اس وقت 52 شعبہ جات، 17 تحقیقی ادارے اور 97 الحاق شدہ کالج شب و روز فروغ علم کے لیے کوشاں ہیں۔حسن رضا اعوان موجودہ شیخ الجامعہ کے فرائض انجام سے رہے ہیں۔

For learning experience and education they provide is excellent but the infrastructure or space provided for students through out whole Uni is not appropriate. Might be Govt not going to look this imp bcz of lack of awareness
