The highly over rated sea food spot and we reached there after having so much hype over social media but experience was not good from any aspect even below average sea food taste they provided. They issue you a token for your order and when your order is prepared and ready, it stays on their counter for a long time and by the time it reaches you it's all cold. And above all you have to put all efforts yourself to find a table and then their people for getting the table clean and then another person to clean street nearby as the guy will through all the waste down the table, an then another guy whom you will keep requesting to see if your order is ready which must be at counter but they will hardly hear you and then person to bring other stuff like Roti and cold drinks, chatani or masala.. Now coming to food, as mentioned it reached all cold; we specially requested to have more masla (species) on fish as someone else also complained the same there but again it reached with no proper species. Their prawn were so ordinary cooked (even not properly cooked, we order grill one) and so their overly hyped Prawan Karahi which simply prepared in tomato paste with no special taste and and not well cooked (you can cook better at your home than this even if you are not expert) so we had to ask the person to recook it all when it took around 2 hours to reach order. And seriously you may eat some better fish nearby to you or other areas in the city like Gulshan rather than being there after all efforts. And yes prices are also more than other famous spots for that unhygienic environment with no proper service.

The best thing about Rashid Seafood is that you can buy fresh sea fish and have it ready your way right in front of you, I will advise everyone to have some basic fish buying knowledge before going there because one can get confused with so many options available. If you really want to know the difference in meat taste, have your fish grilled with light sessioning, same goes for the shrimps. For a really enjoyable time go there a little early so you will find more fresh fish.

Finally I have tried this place, fish and prawns are no doubt very tasty specially when grilled. Seating space is not suitable for families but if you can manage the smell and surroundings it's good for authentic fish lovers. Cash only place no concept of card payments, alot of sellers are in line and you'll get alot of options. Parking is very critical topic in this area so you have to manage things befor hand .. I wanted to try this place since a long time and it's worth all the hype..

It's a roadside dhaba type hotel, so don't expect too much in terms of ambience, but their food netiher tastes as good as it is popular. We ordered surmai grilled fish with grilled prawns and prawns karahi. Nothing tasted good. Prawns karahi was average, so was grilled fish. Grilled prawns were way too bad in taste and size. Total damage was 7000+ for 5 people.

Great seafood. Everything was fresh. We had crab soup, lobsters, prawns, crabs, and multiple types of fish. Tiger prawns were too good as well as the prawn karahi. Crabs as usual took a lot of effort to eat but worth the hassle.
