I live in Australia and visit Karachi every year to meet my family. My cousins attend this school, and from my past experiences when I have dropped them, the outside looks like an animal's home, really! It looks disgusting! No greenery, old, no renovation, teachers very strict, etc. Teachers must be strict in order to excel on'es education, but when physical activity comes in play, it is very bad. The teachers are not authorized to even touch the student in a bad manner. They can shout if someone is not completing their work and all, but this is just not acceptable! Then we also have the age of the school, I mean like seriously! Don't the girls get spooked out or something. The community must have a modernized construction in order to attract people to come to the school. Though there is an immense population that lives in poverty, at least people who can afford to send their children to schools can be impressed by Mama Parsi. Therefore, I rate this school 1/5 stars!

Mama Parsi Girls' Secondary School was established on 1 April 1918 by Jamshed Nusserwanjee Mehta who collected three donations to found the school. At first the new Parsi girls' school functioned in a portion of the Bai Virbaijee School, and was only opened for the parsi community but later on Muhammad Ali Jinnah's request the school allowed muslim students as well. It then shifted in June 1919 to a large building which stands today at the corner of Haji Abdullah Haroon and Inverarity Roads. This building was known as Mama Mansion.[1][2] Construction of the present building called The Mama Parsi Girls' High School was started on 17 January 1920 and completed on 26 January 1925.[1] Pupils had their first academic lessons in the new building on 1 of April 1925. Mama Parsi Girls Secondary School celebrated its 98th anniversary in 2016.[3] The Mama Parsi Girls' Secondary School will celebrate its 105th-anniversary bash next year i.e. 1 April 2023

My daughter Ashfeen was in this school for 1 year and she always complained that her teachers were too strict and the principal was very rude and would shout for no reason . Her teachers were very lazy and they never put in any effort for making the child successful and they were absent almost every other day due to that my child got an overall C in 6th grade and she and I was very upset . I really dont recommend this school at all for anyone.

I'm an ex mamaian and I left the school because of the immense pressure they put on us. Later, I went on with my O and A levels in which I scored straight A*s and As from different schools. If you care about your child's mental health don't put them here or at least if you do educate them about abuse

Although it has an exceptional education and some great educated, and understanding teachers, this school is highly selective, and honestly shatters the confidence of its students and their mental health as well, i won't reccomend this school if ur kid is emotional.
