I worked there for a short period of time and I faced being screamed at, I was treated differently when it came to being paid (other teachers got paid for a sick day with a doctors note but somehow I wasn’t)! I wasn’t allowed to defend myself or explain myself and that meant I had to deal with being scapegoated when things didn’t go right. I had to buy my own classroom supplies and decorations or go without. It was a horrible experience. They love hiring native English speaking teachers to give the school an appearance of legitimacy, however, once you are there you get treated very badly. You can do exactly what they told you to do and still get in trouble for it because the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is going. I also saw the director discriminate against people based on religion and ethnicity. This is supposed to be an accredited American schools so this type of discrimination isn’t suppose to happen.
