As one of the top 50 clubs globally, Lord of Drinks has built an impressive reputation. Stepping inside I could see why - the futuristic lighting, pristine booths and fully stocked elixir bar oozed high-end entertainment. The venue itself is stunning, with cutting edge production values at every turn. Food offerings were also deliciously unordinary. This place clearly spares no expense in the experience. However, on the night I visited it seemed the energy was lacking. The DJ's track selection felt a bit bland and the pounding rhythms I expected were subdued. The crowd seemed less amped as a result. Given its global ranking, I can only surmise this was an off-night rather than the standard. Previous club crawls proved some venues simply hit different strokes on different nights. Overall the quality and thought put into Lord of Drinks is still worthy of international acclaim. For the full experience on a hopping night, I'd certainly return to judge for myself again. One soiree won't deter me from wanting to revel in this playground's usual heights of intoxicating fun.

Staff of this club is just one big disaster. I came here to enjoy night and have a fun, however local staff just ruins the atmosphere. It starts with unpleasant security guy, who has a problem with chocolate bar Snickers in my pocket (he wanted me to put it into locker room , I ate it in front him instead). Then unpleasant cleaner who just told me to move because I was at his "spot", where he usually stands. Bartender who didn't know how to make gin tonic and even didn't have this "cocktail" on menu. This place is so called xxth the best club in the World Good joke. If you wanna be top behave as a top.

One of the perfect place to score good things (you know if you know ) The security is pretty good, the people serving the drinks are good looking and above all the ladies binding the tag of entry into the club were friendly too. There are chairs that are booked prior to the starting of the party. Those will cost around 7000 Nepali rupee. With that booking come food and drinks free up to 7000 Nepali rupee. But I want to warn the tourist about the fact that there remains a chance that the waiter will over charged the total cost. So it is highly advisable to keep your own track of what you are eating and drinking. Otherwise you will end up paying more than what you actually had.

I recently attended LOD and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The venue was excessively crowded, which made it difficult to enjoy the evening. Additionally, the prices were outrageously high, with no justification for the exorbitant cost. The lack of adequate security was concerning, and the customer service left much to be desired. Moreover, the fact that smoking was allowed while people were dancing was off-putting. Even the drinks were subpar, with both the regular options and the cocktails failing to impress. Overall, I can only give LOD a two-star rating, as the negatives outweighed any positives.

Such a GREAT place to party all night. Entry fee is normal. Drinks cost much much more which is justifiable looking at the ambience and vibes it offers. We went around 11 pm and the party lasted till 4.30. Sound, light, sitting place, dancing area all are nicely arranged and gives you a royal feeling. This is the best Party hub in Kathamandu. I will visit soon. I recommend going with at least one partner. You can book a table also which will cost you more but drinks and food will be given within the booking price. After that they will charge extra. MUST VISIT GUYS & GALS!!!!!!

Felt that the club doesn't live up to the reputation of being 49th best club in the world. Reviews also seem to be poor for them in the recent past, and my experience matched with them. Bouncers had misplaced priorities, their focus was not on the guys who were willfully trying to intrude personal space of the females; but to stop people from putting their drinks and stuff anywhere while dancing. Also the events (apart from DJ) that were held there in the past, are rare now.

Why are you advertising that you are 49th best club at the entrance?? Are you not getting customers? The club doesn't live upto the expectations. The staff are pretty rude when knew we were from India. We were shown a seat at the top row when we entered. But we did see many western couples and Nepali (2 members) were shown seats at the bottom row. I have travelled to other countries and did not find this club of so much interest. There are other clubs in Kathmandu worth visiting, I would say.

The pub is situated in the center of Thamel and it is one of the tourists center points in Thamel. It mainly opens in the late evening and closes in the morning. The music system and the dance floor are good but there are 1k NPR entry fees and you will get complimentary drinks. Still need to improve in services and attitude of the staffs and bouncers. There are many freelancers in and around the pub and it's better to beware of them otherwise you will fall into scams. The pub is usually crowded on Friday night.

Why no wardrobe? The door policy is not worth a club like this: 70%to 80% of guests are male on a normal Friday, most of them in the 40s, way too drunk to dance and partly impolite… There are lots of bouncers, but they set completely wrong priorities while not removing inappropriate behaving guests. Great sound (d&b audio) and light equipment! Good air conditioner.

This was my first visit here and I don’t know how club like this becomes one of the best in the world. If you want to experience going back to school this place is best for you cause bouncers be picking on every single thing you do. ( I know rules are rule but very rude staffs) I felt like I was back to 5th grade here. Lately this club’s reputation has been degrading and disappointing. The hospitality, service and specially the bouncers are disrespectful, insensitive and rude. I have been to best clubs around the world and have never been asked to pay an entry. The club is asking for 1000 bucks just to enter the pub. I guess it’s an Indian brand opened up in Kathmandu. Well best of luck guys!!! You been getting lot of negative reviews due to that.

Way too crowded on new years eve. People smoking inside the room, danger to burn your clothes and have bad smell. Way too expensive prices for Nepal. Unpleasant and cocky little security guards. Not a good experience at all. Would not go back or recommend to others.
