Stupid traffic lights, they go on for 3 minutes and when its green the cars dont move for 30 seconds and this is because the roads are not cleared as people are trying to pass when its orange and red, then you have slow drivers of gulshan who drive and take turning very slowly and you have people crossing the street when its your turn to cross. At last you have few traffic police are waiting to fine you, sometimes its a good thing but in my case it was an harassment where they fined me three days in a row. First it was for seat belt, the next day it was for parking and on the third day it was because i was crossing when the light went red and there were four or five more cars that crossed after me but i was stopped. My advice is to be careful when crossing the circle because you don’t want to get a case and it is very irritating. There are many shops and pharmacies near the circle but there are no car parking. It is a wonderful circle but i am not sure why it is so special among the locals.

How do you review an intersection? Maybe mention it's one of the primary points of the Gulshan/Banani/Baridhara area - what we Western returnees like to call Dhaka's Tri-State area. ☺ It's primary because it basically has everything. (Follows Banai, Kakoli, Airport Road, Dhaka Cantonment, Naval HQ), (3) Towards the East: MADANI AVE. (Follows: USA, Turkey & China Embassy, Bashundhora, Baridhara, Jamuna Future Park, Purbachal etc.), (4) towards the North: GULSHAN NORTH AVE. (Follows: Many Embassies and Naval HQ).

People who want to go towards Uttara from here, you can choose three different routes. First, You can take rickshaw to go to baridhara dohs through which you can reach bishwaroad pretty easily without facing much traffic jam. Second, you can go straight to notun bazar from which you can get public bus towards Uttara, less traffic than in banani road. Third, if you want to take banani road you are screwed unless you are taking an Uber or personal car to banani graveyard road.

Gulshan 2 circle is very important and busy place in Dhaka city. Basically this is the entrance point of the diplomatic zone where embassy of different countries are situated. This place is highly secured to ensure the security of the foreign diplomats. This area is also very neat and clean comparative to other places in Dhaka. And the place is also surrounded by some important business head quarters and five star hotels also.
