Unlike some other zoos , there is no bad smell of dust and foods of the animals . the visitors feel comfortable . There are small hills here with stairs to climb . All the stairs are painted with beautiful colors . There is kids Zone where children can play and enjoy some rides free of cost . Entry fee of the zoo is reasonable . No foods and drinks are available inside the zoo area . ~This zoo is the most favourite place of my little sisters to visit frequently . The cases of birds , monkeys , tigers , lions , rabbit , peacock , dove , bear , horses were liked the most by her in every aspect . Above all , she mostly enjoyed the kids playing zone at the downstair's corner of the zoo . Excellent place for kids . It's very much attractive than before as lots of renovation done espeicaly colourful stairs to enhance the beauty of the Zoo . Now it is very much standard for all class of people . Kids can introduce with different kinds of animals in a neat and clean environment definitely with worth enjoy . Highly recommended the place . চিড়িয়াখানা আমার খুব একটা পছন্দের জায়গা না। কিন্তু প্রাণীগুলোকে দেখতে যেতে কিংবা পরিবারের বাচ্চাদের মন রক্ষার্থে যেতে হয়। তবে চট্টগ্রামের চিড়িয়াখানায় সম্প্রতি লক্ষ্য করলাম, আগের চেয়ে একটু পরিষ্কার রাখে। এবং পেছনের অংশের পাহাড়ে জায়গাটা সুন্দর করেছে আগের চেয়ে। বাচ্চাদের খেলার জায়গা এবং দোলনার ব্যবস্থা করেছে তারা। সিড়ির রঙগুলো রঙধনুর মতো সুন্দর লাগে আমার কাছে। আর ওখান থেকে পাহাড়ের ভিউ টা বেশ সুন্দর। তবে শীতের সময় প্রাণীগুলোকে যদি একটু বেশি উষ্ণতা প্রদান করা যেতো তাহলে ভালো হতো। শেষবার দেখলাম উটপাখির ডানায় ঘা হয়েছিলো, চিকিৎসা চলছিলো কিনা কে জানে। বাঘের বাচ্চাগুলোকে আদুরে লাগে। কুমিরগুলো মরা মরা হয়ে পড়েছিলো অনেকটা। বনবিড়ালটার অসুখ ছিলো। ইশ! প্রাণীগুলো যদি মুক্তভাবে বাচতে পারতো। The zoo is not my favorite place actually. But I had to go to see the animals or to keep the minds of the children in my family. However, I recently noticed at the Chittagong Zoo, a little cleaner than before. And in the hills on the back, they have made the place more beautiful than before. They have arranged playgrounds and swings for the children. The colors of the stairs look as beautiful to me as the rainbow. And from there the view of the mountains is quite beautiful. But it would be nice if the animals could be given a little more warmth during the winter. The last time I saw an ostrichs wing was sufferd from wound, who knows if the treatment was going on now or not. Tiger cubs are endearing. The crocodiles were very much like a dead body. The wild cat had disease in that time, don't kniw how are they now. Alas! If the animals could live freely.

Located in a beautiful place beside the biggest amusement park in Chittagong, Chittagong Zoo is one of the best Zoos in Bangladesh. It has an extensive collection of widely available animals, from Tigers to crocodiles, Ostriches, Bears, and many more. It also houses one of the rarest forms of Tiger, the “White Tiger.” It has one of the most extensive bird collections ever in Bangladesh. From Common to Rare, it's massive. It also has an enormous park area with children's rides and staircases around the mountain tops. Went to see Chottogram Zoo with my grand daughter in a late afternoon. Weather was extremely hot and humid. I was more impressed with the scenic walk way around the zoo. The animals looked tired with the heat and humidity and who likes to live in prison. Only little space to live their life! Chittagong Zoo is a zoo in Chittagong, Bangladesh. With an area of 10.2 acres of land it is located about three kilometers north-west of the city, alongside at the entrance of Foy's Lake, opposite the foothills of the mountains of USTC Medical College. In 1988 initiative was taken to establish a private zoo at Foy's Lake for the purpose of recreation, education and research on zoo animals. It is situated at hilly land of Foy's lake, South-Khulshi, Chittagong. Later, on February 28, 1989 the zoo was opened for the visitors. Initially 4.90 acres of land was allocated by the Bangladesh Government, which afterwards increased to 10.2 acres. Some flatterers put several plaques of a government servant who seemed to be an administrator during the construction. Public toilets needed an entry fee!

The animals seem to be doing well now. Hope this continuity will be ok. However, for the information of the coming visitors, it is being informed that the food quality of the restaurants in front of the gate of the zoo and Foys Lake is very bad. It is better not to waste money unnecessarily.

One of the busiest and amazing place in the Chittagong city, Bangladesh.. Nostalgic Chittagong Zoo. Last time I went there couple of years back and rated 1 star but this time I rated 4 stars. What a change, nice, clean colourful and secure. Fantastic! The person who changed the atmosphere is Chittagong District Commissioner. I appreciate his attempt to make the zoo clean and charming. I invite you to go there and please don’t leave any footmarks there. Be clean and be beautiful all the time.

The zoo was charming. Specially the top view from the hills, it's just an actual nature beauty. Also the surroundings was neat and clean, everything was good. But the authority should be more careful about visitors gathering, as some visitors throwing water bottles, tissues and packets here and there also in the animals cages too. Other than everything was perfect. The environment is so much enjoyable. Overall a nice place to visit

Chittagong zoo a tourist place which is held in hill.its located at Foyez lake. Chittagong's one of the most attacked place. In recent there make so many attractive things for tourists. The reformed look of the Chittagong Zoo is quite satisfying. And a little space for children with swings and slides is also a great one. Paths are spacious and clean. It needs to increase the amount of various animal. Few individuals were seen to feed the animals though there were warning signboards, the authority should take this matter seriously. Liked the new reformed look very much, the authority must be appreciated foe the good work.

চট্টগ্রাম চিড়িয়াখানাতে ঢুকতেই জিরাব আর হাতি দিয়ে তৈরি গেটটি অনেক সুন্দর। আবার পাশেই রয়েছে চট্টগ্রামের ঐতিহ্য ফয়েজলেক। ৭০ টাকা খরচে পুরো চিড়িয়াখানা ঘুরে আসতে পারেন। নিচের দিকে নামলেই হালকা শিশু পার্কের মজাও নিতে পারেন। বছরখানেক আগে নতুন নতুন প্রাণী যোগ করা হয়েছে ক্যাঙ্গারু জলহস্তী। আশা করি কম টাকায় অনেক কিছু পাবেন।

A wide collection of wild animals within a peaceful environment. This place has a very refreshing environment. There are Tigers, Ostrich, Zebras, Bears, Monkeys, Crocodile and many more animals. The hills, and the staircase in between them is a very unique concept. Also there are few places where children can play around in swings and slippers. A very beautiful place indeed. I would recommend visiting this place.

Now I have to use the word of disappointment,really it was,There are a couple animals and birds that cannot call the zoo , there should have been more animals and more space. A good reason to go there is that you will see amazing green mountain views. Ticket price was 50৳(BD) but now It's 70৳(BD).

Not up to the mark. Entry ticket is expensive but service is not good. Though some new animals have been added to the zoo but the place is very filthy and stinky! Water is stagnant in places and walkways are very slippery. Very risky for children and aged people! Not very satisfied.

The zoo was neat and clean but the authority Should be more careful about the visitors because i saw some of the visitors were bothering the animal like spiting on them and throwing water. I couldn't find any authority so that i can tell them about the incident. But liked it so far.

Nice place for spending quality time with babies. Recommended for all parents in chittagong with their children. Babies enjoy a lot here. Ticket prices seems reasonable and good news is it's absolutely free for the babies under three years of age. Hundreds of the birds available there with various animals. No food available in the zoo area and foods are not allowed to carry out in the zoo.

As a kid, this place and Foy's Lake was my favorite go to place on the city. That was before the commercialization of the Lake. These two places attributed the actual natural place that exemplify the beauty of Chittagong. After years and Cities apart, a unplanned visit to the place gave me a flashback of golden past and happy memories. "Where's The Time Gone!" as they say it!

I have been went this zoo in 2019. That time all the system was good and as well as atmosphere. I had a good experience with the friends.I spent some unforgettable time with the Animals and the nature. I Don't know what kind of situation is going on now.

Recently Renovated. Nice and good environment for family. Kids will enjoy a lot. Increased animal. Kids playing zone r available. Besides concord foizlake. Open everyday, Friday have some rush. Other week day quite silent. Kids slipper are their. No food allowed inside. Overall nice place to passing time & refreshments. Kids got chance to saw the real animal.

There are many kinds of animals in the zoo. There are some common animals and rare animals also. It's situated a huge space. There are also children's zones and hills. Over the hills you can enjoy a large part of chittagong city.

It's cool. we're waiting for the train to go to Sylhet , There were 5/6 hours we needed to wait so we decided to spend time somewhere in a public place. We choose this, paid ৳70/- per person to enter in the Zoo. It was an amazing time there. Recommend

Not a very big zoo. There aren't too many animals . But here is a kids zone that will give your kids a lot of fun.The hilly path inside the hill has been made very attractive by the authorities. Ticket prices are low. You can go around with the whole family, but don't forget to take a mask during this covid 19.

Lack of cleanliness, animals aren't treated properly. No Extra activities for visitors. Areas are large enough to make more entertaining but lack of good will of authority makes the place faded.

It's a good for kid & good place for spending leisure time there. There's a entry fee & free for under 2 years child. Plenty of animals are collected there & display to the viewers. It will be very good to let your children go there & let then to spend their leisure in a good place.

it's now became a great place. The standard is now a lot better than earlier. Neat and clean. Well collection of birds and animals. Children will loved it. Also the playground with lots of swing chairs and sleep ways shall simply boost the joys of the youngsters!!

The place is small but a lot of animals are available here to see.But the ticket price 70 taka per person that was high for the arrangements.

The service of the zoo is updated and it is now much more clean than it used to be before. There is new stairs to go top of the hill and the view on top of the hill is magnificent. You are bound to be amazed and be entertained.

It's looks nice but there is some artificial thinks that's looks awesome. There's also some natural place.So allover this place is not so bad. If any one wants to visit this place I think he/she got some memories on this place

Now a days chattogram zoo is very nice place for enjoying childrens. It has a large number of animals and birds, also snake. It has a childrens park. It stands just oposit side of foys lake. There is many hills around the zoo.

After modification its good place for hangouts for family and kids... Now nature is added... Love this place

After the pandemic, I paid a visit there with my family. Environment is now very calm and peaceful with limited visitor. Animals are quite refresh and happy. Kids will definitely enjoy the place. The place is quite clean now.

There’s room for a lot of improvements. Could be one of the best Zoo’s around Asia with a little bit more focus. Much can be done to improve the living conditions of the animals. As well as making it more tourist friendly.

Small yet wonderful place. Much better compared to Dhaka Mirpur zoo. Neat and clean place. All the animals are in good shape unlike Mirpur zoo. 50 bdt ticket price is well spent. Highly recommended.

খুবই ছোট পরিসরে তৈরি চট্টগ্রামের এই চিরিয়াখানাটি। এখানে অনেক প্রাণী থাকলেও হাতি নেই, নেই কোন জিরাফ। বানরের সংগ্রহ ও বেশ কম। তবে চিড়িয়াখানার শেষ মাথায় নতুন আঙ্গিকে বিনোদন পার্ক তৈরি করা হয়েছে।

The new redesign makes this a very beautiful and amazing place for both family and couple outing. The long stairs walkways are remarkable. 10/10 should visit again!

Nice place but need more change to moderate and to pass quality time. And the passing payment would be good if it can be refuced. Entry price is high in my opinion.

It's nice to see that it has been made better and bigger than before. The roar of the tiger is a terribly beautiful kite. The chirping of the birds was remarkable.

Not a large place. Considering the area animal variety was good. We could see some extinct animals and birds here. Bird’s zone was wonderful among all zone.

It's a excellent place. Environment are also look awesome. The stairs also look like rainbow. I recommended to everyone to go there at least one time.

Missing Ulluk(উল্লুক),& missing crocodile & there is no Elephant... These animals should be there in.. Visitors are very disappointed like us.... আরও

It's a good place for visit. It's a small zoo some animals we can see here but it's not a full filled zoo like the Dhaka zoo. It's a very small zoo.

Excellent place to bring kids and family. Very clean. The animals are very visible. I don't think we have seen so many tigers in one place!!
