RUD was established under the Private University Act, 1992 of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The University Grants Commission (UGC) evaluated and approved the academic programs on July 30, 2003 and the approval of the Ministry of Education, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was accorded on August 30, 2003. RUD authority needs to arrange a convocation for the sake of both university and students. This is a crying need of every ex-students and current students. They also needs to hire good qualified teachers and staff for the university. The university also need to move into a bigger place with necessarily equipment for smooth and good education environment.

Good education environment. Recently transfer its campus from banani to this permanent campus at Tahgaon. Now its start with steel fabricated building. Soon start the construction of 25 floor building. Many international military officer was studied from this University.

Royal University is a good enough English Medium School in Bangladesh. No doubt their curriculum but also their strategy, lesson of learning style, their attitude is excellent. They have a large play ground which is really unbelievable.
