Awful service I submitted the Shengen visa application on behalf of parents who are over 70 years old on 10/ 05. My understanding is we need to submit to the primary entry country. We received the appointment date on 21/05. On the day of submission, the appointment time is 11:30 Am. However, my parents received a premission to enter at 1300. They were waiting under the sun without any shades or cover for nearly 2 hours. On that day, without any constructive advice, they were said that the ileracy showed that they will stay longer in France and asked them to apply France visa. I already checked the website which mention it will be the primary entry of stay or longest stay. As adviced, we changed the literacy date and applied again. This time it was said we will not get any date before departure from Myanmar. My parents are senior citizem, they face such devasting and frustrating time while applying Shengen visa from Italy Embassy. We received no help/constructive advice during visa application. As weather is terrible hot, my parents are at risk of heat stroke during their first application.
