One of the prime attractions in the center of Addis Ababa, Hanging Garden has always been one of the favourite hangout spots in Addis Ababa among couples. Do not take it for any run-of-the-mill garden as there are a number of attractions that will easily keep the two of you hooked for hours. Nice park, fee for entrance is 30 birr and if you have a kid you need to pay 150 birr for the play ground. Hope the administration of the park would work on maintenance of the play ground and sanitation of the toilet. Many thanks for those who kept the park for long and those who rehabilitated it.

The place looks nice to sit down and have a "me" time, though the staff is unorganized and I witnessed a fight between three workers. It happened like it was a usual fight and no one cared to stop it. Hopefully the management is aware of such mishaps.

Nice place to sit and talk with friends!! But DON'T eat in the restaurants at the park!! Their prices are a scam so make sure to ask for a receipt! plus the food on the menu is so few. Entrance for locals is 30birr.

Its so cool and with cozy air and if u are couples who want to go there I recommend you to go after 4:00pm

10 birr fee on normal days and it good place to hang out with your spouse.
