Class of '80. I was fortunate to have attended several international schools & ASIJ was by far the best. We had Shop class in shop, and home ec in a kitchen. The Computer Club give us access to the school's mainframe. The Japanese people and this school changed my life. If you were a golfer a 10-minute walk got you to the course.

One of the worst international schools in Tokyo. While ASIJ might be huge in size, there is a huge problem regarding bullying that has not been addressed by the school's administration. Moreover, the curriculum does not push any of the students to excel in their studies. ASIJ definitely gets a rating of 1/5 for me.

This place walks their talk. As a lifelong educator, I kicked the tires pretty hard before taking the plunge. It’s not for everyone but our family has been well served by choosing ASIJ over other options in the area. We only wish it were a little bit closer.

It's a great school, amazing education, why you should pick this school is that it's a difference maker, there is more academic choices than the other schools, the environment is always buzzing and lively, and Friday night lights are lit.

As others have mentioned there are little upsides save for the large campus. We did very little genuine learning and I am glad I have moved schools since. For example we build structures out of marshmallows(?) instead of learning.

The new goal of the head of the school to let it become an elite school. I think it already is if you see which universities the graduates move on to. The teachers are amazing there and go the extra mile every day.

I am was a student at this school in 1960 to 1964. Up to 8th grade where I was tested for IQ (186) and that I remember also the 1964 games. Even back in 1956 to 1958 too.

I love ASIJ. This school is incredible. It has huge campuses and fulfilling environment. In the class, u can use computer. ASIJ is really different to Japanese school.

Well known school with huge space but way out of the city center. Have to use transportation or school bus.
