Cheap and easy to use. Got a bag full of clothes washed and dried withing an hour. On the right side of the room there are washing machines: 200yen for a cold wash and 300 for hot. Washing takes 38 minutes. On the left side there are dryers. 100 yen for 10 minutes. There's also one machine that does both washing and drying but it will probably be occupied. The place is safe. Mainly used by students and tourists. There's a coffe shop within 7 minutes opposite of McDonald's. Nice place to wait for the wash.

Conveniently located near tons of guest houses and inns, Ikementen Coin Laundry was a lifesaver during my 5-day stay in Kyoto. Nothing beats having clean clothes, and getting them in a fast, clean, and relatively cheap way can make or break a trip abroad. They have change machines and everything you need to clean your clothes inside (even detergent-injecting washer+dryer combination machines). No need to walk around with detergent and 5lbs of loose change.

Great place to wash your laundry. However, do note. 1. There is ONLY one machine that serve wash and dry. 2. There are 4 washing machine without dryer 3. There are 4 dryers machine. Total there are only 9 machines altogether in this place.

One washing machine we used only provided cold Water... But we paid 300Yens which is for hot Water. The detergent that pumps automatically is not a lot. Our clothes dont smell cleanliness.

Tiny laundromat but good machines and the laundry detergent is included in the price. Helpful pictures show you how many of each item can fit in the dryers.

My go to place for laundry during my stay in Shin-Okubo. Its small so there may be a bit if a wait at times particularly during night time.
