We recently did a tour with HTIT. Their quality has not changed since 2020! From start to finish, it was as near perfect as a holiday could get. Our coordinator, Aurore, was responsive, detailed, patient and very friendly. The activities and alternatives suggested were all excellent. Eriko also covered seamlessly if Aurore was not around. Their advice on the local COVID-19 rules and regulations was very helpful, as it would have been a headache to navigate otherwise. Being welcomed at the airport with goodies and a small activity booklet for the kids was really a lovely personal touch (and introduced us to lots of yummy Hokkaido snacks!). The accommodations have all been personally vetted by company staff, and were all comfortable, clean and of high quality. Our driver and guide, Kato San, was responsible, very helpful, great with the kids, and had child seats and water in his comfy van. He made great food recommendations, and was able to suggest alternatives that the kids loved when the weather was inclement. Megu San, who guided us for part of the tour, was also great with the kids and informative. We never felt rushed, which made all the difference with young kids. Thank you HTIT, and well done! Definitely a company I would recommend to anyone going to Hokkaido.

Our family of 4, including 2 elderly parents, engaged Treasure Island to plan our 10 day trip in Hokkaido. Every aspect of the trip was impeccably thought out, including the key attractions to visit, fun activities planned for the family (e.g. mochi pounding and Japanese tea appreciation), the accomodation booked, restaurants booked and knowledgeable driver hired. Kudos especially to our dedicated agent Kiyoka-San, who was very thoughtful and accommodating to our requests. She had also remembered our mother's birthday and planned little surprises for her, without any prompting from us. Highly recommend anyone who wants to travel around Hokkaido on a private tour!
