"These is a great Historical area in the Shanghai district, with plenty of historical buildings, beautiful scenery, very old district, the so rounding streets you find old kinds of restaurants for all packets sizes, antique stores, cutlery’s, fine ceramics, metro near by, safe to walk around , so have your cameras ready"
"Free, Theres a roof garden & The priceless stamps are right towards the back around 8 minutes walk from the front entry into the museum"
"The postal museum is a big building, full of stamps in dark rooms, and and showing build up interiors from the past"
"Either you really have nothing to do or you're really into stamps"

Free, Theres a roof garden & The priceless stamps are right towards the back around 8 minutes walk from the front entry into the museum. Great collection of tools, hope though that the bottom with the Post Caravan will be filled with other interesting things. Building architecturally from the outside is top notch.
The postal museum is a big building, full of stamps in dark rooms, and and showing build up interiors from the past. It is not a modern museum, more a museum of a museum, but that is why I give it 5 stars, and hope that it will be kept this way. Anders
Either you really have nothing to do or you're really into stamps. I fall into the former category. I personally have seen a ton of stuff in Shanghai and was really scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of museums. The English signage…...

Located near the bund, the museum only opens roughly every other day. I actually enjoyed the exhibition explaining the China postal system throughout the history.…...
Nice looking old architecture. Not a must go place in Shanghai unless your hotel is very nearby or it's your interest. :)
In your priorities to visit in Shanghai. Up to 90ties this building was the most distinct in the old city.
Good place to visit to see old style decoration. Also have a postal museum and beautiful rooftop scene.
Interesting place I can relate to on how different the mail system works.
Nice out-looking and a good palce to take photos at the first-floor.
