Checking in late, we were disappointed by our rude hello. The front desk not only gave us her unnecessary judgment about our stay in their mere 'Superior room', but she also handled everything with snark. We entered to find our room smokey, and dirty. We waited till the next evening to comment on our room, where we received a harsh "no one would smoke in your room", and that was the end. By no means did we accuse the employees, but merely stating a fact and the front desk couldn't care less. She continued typing away, not once looking up to address our concerns. My disappointment doesn’t all come from the room, but from how we were treated and talked to. We know we paid for a 3-star hotel for its location, but the attitude that came along could have been left at whatever wrong side of the bed all of their staff were waking up from. Having said this, the same night we asked Room Service for an air-freshener, and the cleaning lady was great-insisting she’d spray and try to make it better due to our asthma concerns. Thinking this was a turning point, the next night, we tried to call down to ask for ice due to an injury but found the phone and fridge disabled. When we asked for ice and why the fridge wasn’t working, we got the prompt response “Yes they don’t work, why would they, no ice”. As I said, we were paying for its location, but if you’re looking for a hotel that won’t get your blood boiling, and will help you out in an unfamiliar city, this one isn’t it.

When I checked into the hotel the receptionist very rudely and aggressively demanded a security deposit. I had prepaid with Agoda so this was expected, but could have been done in a much more professional and courteous manner. The carpets in the hallway were very worn and most of the hotel appeared to be very dated. I paid extra for a room with a window, but the window faced a concrete wall that was about two feet away. The room was very dark and the furnishings were very old and damaged. I think this might have been a very nice hotel twenty or thirty years ago. Renovations were underway during my stay. This started very early in the morning and ended very late at night. I tried to have breakfast at the hotel one morning but was turned away as it wasn't included in the rate I paid. Apparently you are unable to purchase a meal separately. The hotel looks very nice from the outside and has a certain charm in a Jack Nicholson/The Shining sort of way. The rooftop was not accessible due to construction, but the view wasn't very good anyway.

Hier 3 nachten als toerist verbleven. Algehele beoordeling redelijk, drie en een halve ster. Locatie is uitstekend, enkele minuten lopen van metrostation Tiananmen East, pal bij de hotspots dus. Goed ruim bed waarin het rustig slapen is, wifi werkte iha redelijk, lekkere warme douche, goed en uitgebreid ontbijt, kamer oud en schoon, badkamer redelijk modern en schoon en prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Tegenvallers zijn de niet werkende airco (warmde in elke stand alleen maar op...), het diner (enkele missers meegemaakt in het restaurant waarbij het eten zelfs een keer op rubber leek) en het feit dat vrijwel niemand meer dan een handvol woorden Engels sprak, je verwacht toch anders pal in het centrum van wereldstad Beijing. Als je een beetje wereldwijs en niet super kritisch bent en lekker centraal bij de hotspots wilt zitten een prima keuze.

The location of the TianAn Regards is excellent. Between Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square, it is walking distance from most sites in Beijing. Rooms vary greatly in size. We have stayed twice: once in October and once in May. This has lead us to the conclusion that the rooms do not have functioning heating and cooling, despite controls on the wall. Weather was quite nice in May, with highs in the upper 70s F, but the rooms on the fourth floor we're stifling. There is a small window in each room, but with only one with a small opening, it afforded little cross breeze. There are no fans. If staying in spring or summer, ask for a room on a lower floor. Beds are reasonably comfortable; the larger the bed, the stiffer they are. Overall, I would stay here again, but ensure I book a room on the appropriate floor for hot or cold weather.

This is a great hotel, friendly local staff. Food great too, Western style buffet at breakfast but great local dishes too. Bok Choi in oil is delicious. Mainly Chinese here, so if uninterested in mixing with locals & trying out your Mandarin. Then go to a Hyatt hotel or elsewhere. Personally I loved it, I’ve stayed several times. An easy walk from Tianamen Square East station. Once again I love this place, anyone interested in mixing with locals..book this place

Location was quite good, probably about 10-15 mins walk from Wangfujing subway station and from Tiananmen. However, room was very warm (funny to say this during winter but trust me) and the air that came out of central vent was very dry. The controller for the ac/heater wasn’t working although the display showed the temperatures. Not sure if the hotel is undergoing renovation (we weren’t informed about anything) but construction noises started Everyday at 8am. We were given a non-smoking room but smoke wafted in every night and filled the stagnant air in the room. Hotel is old as what the other reviews stay. Choose this place only for its convenience.

This hotel is in an excellent location. A stone's throw away from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and all the major central tourist spots. The room was a good size, clean and with a great bed. There's a rooftop bar and restaurant. You can see tge CCTV tower, and the edges of Tiananmen Square.

Hotel muy céntrico, las habitaciones son amplias y limpias, quizá un poquito oscuras, pero eso no es un problema. La ubicación es genial, muy cerca de la calle comercial Wangfujing, de la puerta de Tiananmen y la Ciudad Prohibida. Si vuelvo a Beijing me alojaré allí de nuevo. Recomendable.

Requested a non smoking room - gave me a room that smelled like smoke. Moved me to two single beds room when I had paid for ‘double business room’, when I refused to stay there they ‘upgraded’ me to some other room with a small lounge and a…...

Very average room, got a way smaller room than in pictures, dark and dingy lighting in the bathroom, reception didn’t speak much English which made it hard for international visitors, room had all your toiletries though, toothbrush,…...

오래된 호텔,. 그래도 관리는 잘되는 그런 느낌의 호텔입니다. 예전에는 잘 나갔을거 같은 인테리어의 객실, 다만 지금은 조금 오래된 느낌입니다. 그래도 위치와 시설대비 가격이 착했고 특히 객실뷰가 좋은 창문이 있어서 마음에 들었습니다. 사람마다 호불호는 있겠지만 저에게는 좋은 추억의 호텔이네요

So much fun we ate on the rooftop terrace where we stayed for late night drinks. The food was so satisfying and beautifully prepared. Staff bent over backwards for us. The best long island ice tea ever had!!

가격대비 최고의 호텔이었음, 4일동안 매일 방 정리, 편의용품 제공(일회용 면도기 제외), 물 서비스해주었음, 리모델링 했는지 시설이 깨끗하였음, 호텔홈페이지에서는 텐안동문역 B출구로 안내해주나, 실제 걸어본 결과 왕푸징역C1출구가 더 가까웠음(3분 이내), 왕푸징거리는 도보 3분, 천안문 도보 5분, 전문대가방향은 도보 15분 정도 임.

A nice quaint clean hotel. The bed was hard and the thermostat didn't work. But truthfully, it was a wonderful place to stay and I would stay again.

以地點跟價格來說算是平價的酒店，到故宮到王府井都是走路可以到達，唯一可惜的是飯店中仍有部分施工再進行，最後離開那天直接是對門房間再施工，一早就聽到倒磚塊的聲響

酒店位置很好。在貴賓樓飯店後面。距離故宮、天安門、王府井都很近。我住的是對着霞公府一側的房間，非常非常安靜。酒店設施准四星，一家人去北京旅遊，兩大一小，住雙床房，酒店還提供並床服務，後來看看，我帶小孩睡也沒什麼問題，就沒並床。各方面都挺滿意的。

Ottimo hotel, camera grande e servizio all'altezza. Vicinissimo alla città proibita e alla metro. Consigliatissimo.

很幸运的是 订房正好有 连住这几晚 风景着实不错 而且是中心的位置 拉开窗帘半壁美景 夜晚的喷泉 着实很漂亮 进东方广场也很便利 打车也很方便 只是正巧赶上有演习 进出都要安检着实有那么不太方便
