I was very fortunate to have found Dr. Yasumasu's clinic while staying in Fukuoka. First, I easily scheduled a checkup meeting online. The clinic was very nice and clean and all of the workers are client oriented and were able to communicate with me, even when I can barely say a sentence in Japanese. Luckily for me, Dr. Yasumasu speaks English fluently and he checked my teeth. After his examination I was put in the hands of a lovely dental hygienist (I forgot to ask for her name) who was very gentle and cleaned my teeth. She was very patient with me, as I am a mouth-breather and everything takes more time because of that. It was a very positive experience that cost a decent and fair price. Thanks again to the wonderful dental hygienist, Dr Yasumasu and his other workers! Highly recommended!

Yasumasu Dental Office is located in Fukuoka City and is a short walk away from Tenjin Station and bus routes. I visited their office three times in the past two months, once for an initial appointment and part 1 of cleaning, and two times for follow-up cavity fillings and part 2 of my cleaning. Despite being terribly afraid of the dentist, I felt supported and well-informed by Dr. Yasumasu and his technicians. It was easy to make an appointment online and I was happy to know they are open on the weekends as well as past 5:30pm. I highly recommend Yasumasu Dental Office for anyone who may have worries about visiting a dentist in Japan with little to no Japanese, or anyone really. The office is comfortable, I felt safe, and I received wonderful service.

The staff was nice, the place was clean and neat, the atmosphere fairly relaxing. As I was filling out the form during my initial visit, I checked the box saying I was a little nervous about the treatment, but that was never addressed after handing it in. The explanations throughout the treatment were very minimal (though they were there), so I wasn't quite sure what was going on part of the time, suddenly finding I was having my teeth shaved down, for example. I wish I would have been informed about the various procedures before going into them, and ideally everything else too. Kept in the loop, as it were. That being said, all the problems were dealt with satisfactorily. Overall, I had a decent experience.

通っていた歯科の閉院に伴い、こちらを紹介されました。 とても清潔感のあるクリニックで、先生・スタッフさんとも穏やかな雰囲気で優しかったです。 当初は定期的にクリーニングに通う予定でしたが、昔治療した歯が欠けたため急遽虫歯治療をお願いしました。 リテーナーを使用している点にも配慮しながら処置していただき、治療自体はとても丁寧でした。 しかし治療の結果に対しては、正直なところ不満しかありません。 保険治療だったとはいえ、かなり目立つ位置の歯に事前説明もなく銀歯の被せ物をセットされました。 私の歯の場合、保険治療では銀歯しか使えないことを治療開始前に伝えて頂ければ、金額の多寡にかかわらず自費の治療をお願いするはずでした。 初診時の問診表で「保険治療希望/場合によっては自費の治療も希望する」という項目をチェックしていたため、私の意向は伝わっているものと思っていましたが残念です。 他の方のクチコミにもあるように、治療後に鏡で確認させてもらえず、銀歯の被せ物には帰宅するまで気付けませんでした。 せめて治療完了時に気付くことが出来れば、その場で自費治療の相談をしたのに…とも思います。 銀歯に費やした時間もお金も、初めから自費治療に充てたかったです。 今は銀歯がかなり気になって思いきり笑えない状態です。 気持ちまで暗くなりそうなので、まだ世間がマスク生活のうちに、自費で再治療しようと思います。 今後私のような思いをする患者さんが出ないよう、治療の説明や治療の選択肢の提案は念入りに行って頂きたいです。

I chose to come here cos I read all the reviews about the amazing service, but that's not what I experienced. When I made my appointment I specified that I needed a consultation, so before getting anything done I told the dentist I had some questions. That was met with an eye roll, and he was abrupt and condescending with his responses. I don't know what the issue was, since I would have been charged regardless. The entire "consultation" lasted less than 2 minutes, so I paid for an eye roll and 2 sarcastic answers and I left. Edit: my issue was the bad attitude, which carried on in the response here. The nastiness is uncalled for!!

口コミが良かったので選びました。評価を鵜呑みにしてしまった自分が悪いのですが、返信がやけに多い時点で口コミ評価に力を入れているだけのことだと気づくべきでした。 挨拶も最低限の声掛けもなく、やっつけな治療に閉口しました。他の方の口コミとあまりに違い、辛く高い勉強料に。 高い画像を何枚も撮っておきながら、今回とくに悪くなって受診した歯以外については「あちこち虫歯になってますよ」と言うのみで、一切説明もなく、長期的な治療をする気はなし。 保険適用の治療を希望していると最初に言ってしまったので、そこから一気に態度が変わりました。 初診の問診で「応急処置ではなく今後の治療について相談したい」という内容のことを記載していたのに、目を通してもいない様子。（読んでてあれだったらもっと最低） 技術は高そうでしたので、割り切って態度の悪さは多目に見ようとも思いましたが、限度が。 中でも、被せ物を入れる前の調整中、顔に水しぶきを飛ばしまくるのはさすがに不快だし最低ですよ。 途中被せ物を床に落とされましたし。 治療後の歯を鏡で確認させてもらえない歯医者も初めてでした。 衛生士も常に急かす態度。ニコニコして冷淡なのは不気味。 受付の女性は感じが良かったです。 歯医者も商売だし1人の人間だから、客が歯科医を選ぶように客を選ぶのだなと思いました。 きっと他の多数の人にとってはいい歯医者なんでしょう。

What can I say. If you require an English speaking Dentist go no further. I quite literally hate going to the dentist but after reading the website I felt that getting care now would be much better than leaving it and suffering later. Doctor Yasumasu explained everything he was doing and regular appointments were given. The price was reasonable especially for the time and amount of treatment I required. He was highly recommended from the Fukuoka Reddit and I now can see why. 100% recommend Yasumasu Dental office and their excellent staff.

Safe to say this is one of the best clinics you’ll find in northern Kyushu! Taking my experience from the top, the administrator was so welcoming. The nurse was extremely patient with my anxiousness, she even explained the tools she’s using when I asked. Dr. Yasumasu made me feel like I’m back home with his consultation style, he listened to my whole medical history, and offered follow up which made me feel cared for and safe. Needless to say, the nurse’s & his skills in dentistry and in English language are perfect

Dr. Yasumasu is a skilled doctor. Treatment was painless and quick. Once, while eating shellfish soup for lunch, I accidentally bit sand and chipped a temporary filling. Indeed a great experience! Dr. Yasumasu is an intellectual and has profound skills along with his proficiency in English. Doctor and all of the staff is very kind and professional. This place is really convenient for English speakers. I was easily able to make an appointment online. At the office, I was able to fill in my info using an online English form, as opposed to a Japanese paper application. Also, I didn’t have to wait long before seeing the dentist, which to my delight , also spoke English. He was very helpful and gave me good advice.

My family visited Dr. Yasumasu's Dental Clinic and we were very pleased with how well Dr. Yasumasu spoke the English language. We were also pleased with the customer service; the staff treated us well, Dr. Yasumasu likewise. If you're an English speaker who resides in or is visiting Japan, you should definitely pay them a visit if you happen to need a Dentist.

I have been here over 10 times due to my bad teeth condition. Don't be surprised if you'll be asked to come two times to fix one issue - it's normal practice in Japan. If you have insurance, the price is more than affordable, and the quality is high, so it's worth the extra time you spend. All in all I highly recommend this place for all English speakers.

My regular dentist who's done tremendous work in fixing up some issues I've had with old fillings and crowns. He's very frank and tells you exactly what the problem is, and is conservative with his treatments too with a focus on saving and preserving the tooth. English is excellent and he is very skilled in treatment. Can't recommend him enough, thanks!

I was at Yasumasu Cental Clinic days ago.I like the way the doctor explains and did not force me into an unnecessary procedure. I got 3 holes cleaned and filled, the price was reasonable (I was insured). The staff was nice and friendly. Communication in English was smooth. I will be back for my 6 month cleaning.

I couldn't be happier with the dental care I received from Dr. Yasumasu, and the fact that he is fluent in English was icing on the cake. I was able to clearly communicate with him without the worry of anything being lost in translation. His staff are all very warm and welcoming as well. Highly recommend them!

The dentist can speak English well. Good skill for treatment with high experience, but should ask patients how much to pay or the price before the treatment or operation for the pateint decision. Reasonalble price if you have health insurance. Recommend for pateint who finding dentist can speak English.

A very good dental clinic! Dr. Yasumasu is very helpful. He gave me specific directions to find the dental office and handled scheduling at a different specialized clinic for a wisdom teeth removal. He also speaks perfect English and can provide services in English to foreigners.

It was easy locating the office via the subway station. The layout of the office was beautiful and the staff were welcoming. Dr Yasumasu was warm and friendly in his approach and his dentistry was gentle and painless. I'll recommend him to potential English-speaking patients.

I visited the office three times in the past month. My experience was very good. Dr. Yasumasu and his staff are very nice and the procedures were done quickly and without any problems. The location close to Tenjin station is also very convenient.

Dr Yasumasu was able to accommodate us on short notice to provide urgent dental work for my son. He speaks very good english and does excellent work. The only reason for not getting the fifth star was the considerable cost. Highly recommended.

Dr. Yasumasu speaks excellent english (probably better than mine) and was very accomodating. All the staff was very professional. Went in for a check-up and cleaning, process was smooth and painless. Definitely recccomended.
