"Amazingly friendly service and experience! Our personal guide and chef teacher, Molly, took me and my girlfriend on a nice little historical journey on Sichuan cooking, then we went to pray at the Kitchen God, before finally on to the main cooking event! Molly and the assistant chefs (yes, there were 3-4 assistant chefs just waiting on us, despite being a group of 2), where we cooked kung pao chicken, ma po tofu, and panda dumpling desserts"
"Although this was an amazing experience with an English tour (at extra cost) where you get to taste over 25 traditional foods, it takes over 2 hours to travel to the museum when using public transport (cheap but long)"
"What a wonderful way to get to know the local cuisine and history behind the food"
"Its very good museum for food lover, you have to come here if you go to Sichuan"
"Very interesting food show - presenting in live the food of Sichuan plus full lunch based on that food"
Amazingly friendly service and experience! Our personal guide and chef teacher, Molly, took me and my girlfriend on a nice little historical journey on Sichuan cooking, then we went to pray at the Kitchen God, before finally on to the main cooking event! Molly and the assistant chefs (yes, there were 3-4 assistant chefs just waiting on us, despite being a group of 2), where we cooked kung pao chicken, ma po tofu, and panda dumpling desserts. Everything was so clean and well prepared that although this was my *first time cooking anything* it came out delicious and the experience really moved me. At the end, after eating our dinner in private within the gardens, Molly and the Executive Chef presented us a fun little award ceremony as rookie chefs. Then Molly personally walked us to the bus station and waited until we boarded. My girlfriend and I both feel so touched. This is without a doubt the best cooking experience ever!
Although this was an amazing experience with an English tour (at extra cost) where you get to taste over 25 traditional foods, it takes over 2 hours to travel to the museum when using public transport (cheap but long). We would recommend visiting the museum only if you have a lot of time.
What a wonderful way to get to know the local cuisine and history behind the food. The museum tour was enjoyable. Sampling the "snacks" was a joy as they were tasty and abundant. The cooking class was a lot of fun and educational. Expect to…...
Its very good museum for food lover, you have to come here if you go to Sichuan. Its have garfen full of bean paste Sichuan Speciallity food. Here you will find the real taste of Sichuan Food.
Very interesting food show - presenting in live the food of Sichuan plus full lunch based on that food. The place itself is nice and green
Interesting exhibits and gorgeous grounds. Go when they're doing cooking classes.
Boss of the place is not reliable at all. Doesn't respect people.
