It's the First Mosque of Japan's history!! 第二次世界大戦の神戸大空襲にも、阪神淡路大震災にも負けずにその姿を現在にとどめるモスクです。 有事の際、例えば阪神淡路大震災時には、阪神間居住のイスラム教徒のみならず、それ以外の他の日本人・外国人の避難場所にもなり、多くの一般市民を助け活躍しました。 私自身はキリスト教徒ですが、何度もこちらのモスクには見学で入れてもらい、親切丁寧にお話を聴かせて頂きました。 急な訪問でも、タイミングが合えば内部を案内してもらえることも可能ですが、やはり事前に電話連絡などで予約をしておいた方が確実でしょう。日本語が話せるスタッフも数多くいらっしゃいます。 このモスクに限らず、自分とは異なる他の宗教や文化に接する場合には、相手方を理解しようと努め、必ず相手方に敬意を持って失礼にならないように気をつけなければなりません。そうすれば、相手の方からも親切に対応してもらえます。 自分の価値観が絶対的に正しいと思い込み、相手の考えや価値観、異文化を理解しようとせずに、相手を見下すような姿勢こそが、人や国同士の衝突を発生させるのです。 いまの時代、これから先もそういった狭い考えは世界では通用しません。Global Earth, Global peace です。

Beautiful mosque with a nice community. A lot of people from other religions and beliefs come to visit this place to learn about Islam and its history. Loved the approach from the people in charge of this mosque to share the muslim way of life. I wish other mosques would have this type of open visitor section for people who are interested in learning about Islam and its culture in a way that doesn't make them feel pressured in accepting something...

It is Japan's first Masjid. So, it's the oldest masjid in Japan. This was the first place to visit in my itinerary. It has nice interior and exterior. The space for wudhu and toilets are clean. Many Halal shops and restaurants nearby. It is closed by the Sannomiya Station. The area around this masjid is so peaceful and quiet. I feel very grateful that I can visit this place. Hope someday I'll be back here again.

The famous mosque for its history. This building has been through the WWII and the great earthquake in 1995. Other than that, it is also the most important place for moslems. I really love activities during Ramadhan month in this mosque. Togetherness, compassion, and solidarity has been united despite the difference of backgrounds and languages. I am gonna really miss this mosque.

Been here for Friday / Jumat Prayer in winter. Better to come earlier to get the place inside. The masjid provide warm water for ablution, heater on every corner, room to place baggage, and fluffy carpet. Women can also join the prayer in the second floor. The sermon was in English generally and sometimes Japanese and Arabic. Overall it was a great experience to have prayed here.

二十世紀に建てられたという日本で初めて建てられたモスクが国際都市神戸にはある。 ここは阪神大震災でも倒壊しなかったといわれている! モスレムの館員の方から親切にも行き交う人々にも館内を自由に招き入れ、案内して頂ける。近くのマーケットにはムスリム人を対象とした「ハラルフード」もある。 また、少し歩くと近くには大リーガー野球チーム、WBCでも有名になったサンディエゴ·パドレスで大活躍の「ダルビッシュ有ミュージアム」もできている。WBCでは苦境に堕ちいった時も、冷静にも泰然自若とした姿は美しく、日本チームの勝利に多いに貢献している! 有選手は母が日本人である。実父はイラン人であり、敬虔なイスラム教徒でシーア派でもある。 有選手は全く宗教を持ってないが、井戸の掘削に寄付したり、後輩の野球選手には誠意を持って親切に指導しているという!

We came here by Shinkansen (using JE WEST Pass), took only 15mins.. Walk out of the station Shin-Kobe, just turn right, walk towards a covered pathway, leading to a commercial building across the street. Then head towards your right. You'll need to walk about 700m to reach here. Nice comfortable & pretty big (compared to japan standard) masjid. With clean toilets.

I visited a long time ago . I can say It was unforgettable experience in my life! First of all Masjeed is number1 peaceful place for any muslim! And this masjeed shows authentic style masjeed! Staff also kind people! They can speak English and Japanese as perfect as their own language! BarakAllahu feekum!

建物の写真を撮ろうとしたところ、近くにいた信者の女性（服装でそうだとわかる）から、写真を撮るなと怒鳴られました。 私はSNSなどに勝手に写真をアップするつもりなどはなく、もちろん人は写らないように注意し、単純に建物だけを撮ろうと思っただけだったのですが。 しかしその女性は、私の言い分など一切聞く耳を持たず、本当にただひたすら一方的に怒鳴りつけてきました…未だにトラウマです。 宗教のことはよく知らないのですが、一般の人々とは常識がまったく違うのでしょうか？常識ある大人であれば、人の話を少し聞くくらいはすると思うのですが。特にこちらの宗教の方は、対話を通じて人と理解し合うことなどは一切考えない、一方的に断罪する教えなのだと、私は理解しました。 ただただ非常に不快な気持ちなった神戸観光でした。もう二度と行きません。

Had the opportunity to perform the prayer in this beautiful mosque. The woman section is on the upper level. There was a couple had their nikah ceremony while i was in the mosque☺️. There is halal asian food store in front of the mosque as well as halal turkish kebab very near to the mosque area.

It is very comfortable and peacefull to pray here, despites it is under renovation process. Unfortunately, no pictures are allowed to be taken once you are inside the mosque. Thats what make it different with Tokyo's Cami Mosque. Still, expect a crowd in Friday prayer time. Next to this mosque, there are some halal shops and restaurants.

神戸北野にある日本最古のモスクと聞いている ラマダンと時は日没から イフタールと云う食事が供せられる 信徒でない私も お誘いいただき 何度も 食事をご馳走になりました 薔薇水から始まりデーツ そしてカレーやビリヤニは その日によって 当番制になっているらしく ムスリムの方々のそれぞれのお国柄が 食事にも反映されていて 興味深い 男性は一階 女性と小さな子どもは二階と別れている 床に敷物か敷かれて 大きな皿が 其処此処に並べられ 各自よそって食べる形式 生存競争的な 食物競争が繰り広げられる 此方でも食事はとてもシンプルながら 祈りのこもった家庭の味 素朴でとても美味しいものでした 異教徒に対しても鷹揚に 席を空け 迎え入れてくれる姿に感銘を受けました 何よりも美味しい！

見学は自由ですが、男性は１階、女性は２階の見学で、入り口から違っています。 代々木上原のモスクと違って、床には絨毯が敷き詰められています。礼拝方法がプリントされた紙を渡され、そのとおりに一人で礼拝しました。 責任者らしき人が近寄り、いろいろ教えてくれました。このモスクは代々木上原のモスクより古く、阪神・淡路大震災の被害はほとんど受けなかったそうです。また、建物の頂上にドームがないのは、地震に弱いからだとのこと。話してくれた方は45年前にパキスタンから来たそうです。 30分ほど話しているうちに12時半の礼拝が始まりました。

It's located 10minutes from Kobe station & Herb Garden. Surrounded by many HALAL restaurants of different types (Indian, Pakistani, Japanese, Moroccan, Turkish Indonesian) along the routes. Mosque very cleaned and comforting. Muslimin & Muslimat praying area are segregated on different levels as well as wudhuk area.

トアロードを山側へ登って行き、北野工房のまちのある交差点を右折するとあります。近づくと、モスクに集う人々の姿がちらほら見えました。イスラム教の寺院を間近で見るのは初めてです。ベージュ色の壁、そびえ立つ２つの尖塔、外から見ると赤っぽく見えるステンドグラス。日本のお寺や神社とも、キリスト教の教会とも違う、一種独特の美しさがあります。HPによると、ここは「1935年（昭和10年）、神戸在住のトルコ人、タタール人、インド人貿易商らの出資により建てられた日本で最初のモスク」。今回は、外から眺めただけでしたが、「誰でも見学自由」らしいので、次回は中を見学しようと思います。(訪問：2019-07-21)

Kobe mosque was one of the few structures not destroyed after the World War 2 bombing. There is a photo inside the masjid showing it as one of the few structures left standing. There is a small muslim community in Kobe, and another small muslim centre nearby. Halal food is available nearby.

The mosque is spacious and clean. It has different prayer areas for men and women (second floor). The ablution area is also large with an appropriate shoe rack nearby. Near the mosque, we will easily find many choices of halal shops.

Alhamdulillah had a chance to visit this mosque, during our trip to Kobe. Friendly moslem brother and sister. Beautiful design inside and outside, it has old historical ambience. I think this is one of the oldest mosque in Japan. Theres few halal eateries and shop nearby.

Beautiful masjid with great history as one of the oldest mosques in japan. During Ramadan they serve iftar and gladly welcome guests. If you are driving there better to arrive super early for Jumaa prayer or you won’t find a spot to park. Gets really crowded on Friday!

Being the first mosque in Japan, this mosque is very beautiful. The mosque itself has Indian style, and reminds me of mosques in South (East) Asian. It is easy to locate from Kobe Sannomiya station and easily accessible from Kitano-cho as well

It's my first time to pray Sholat Jum'at here, the room is wide enough for about 100 person inside and there is second floor too. They also give some dates palm after pray Jum'at ✨️ from Moslem with love ❤️

日本で最初に出来た、当然日本最古のモスクだそうです。ムスリムの先生？が、親切に説明してくれました 1935年に出来て、震災と戦災でも無事だった建物だそうです。内部は写真撮影禁止ですが、見学は可能で、今までに行った神社・お寺・教会などのなかで、異教徒ではあるけれど、一番敬虔な気持ちになれるような雰囲気でした。西の壁面がメッカの方向だそうです。 イスラムの人も、ずっと住んで、今の神戸なんですね。 外観のシンメトリーな構造が写真に撮れれば良かったのですが…

Went there on a friday to pray jumat. But was a bit confused with the schedule, because the prayer started much later than the zuhr time (based on salah time app). They say it was to wait for more worshippers to come

9月10日日曜日の昼から、神戸ムスリムモスクに友達と寄りました。 パキスタン人の彼が日本で丁寧にいろいろ説明してくれて、礼拝も見学させて頂きました。後でモスクの理事長さん(ナイジェリア人)ともゆっくり話ができました。 とても親切で友好的です。 室内の写真は許可をもらい撮りました。

The building is awesome! If you want to have a jamaah shalat then you better see the schedule on the reception. It has warm water for wudhu, it provides mukena. It is close to Sannomiya station.

夜19時くらいに行ったので、こんなとこにあるの…？というところにありました。 中に入るのに若干勇気は入りますが、入るとボランティアで受付をやっている（とおっしゃっていました）方が内部を案内してくれます。6割何を言っているかわからないですが、とても丁寧にイスラム教について教えていただきました。 最後に冊子まで頂いて大満足です。モスクに行ったことのない方はぜひ言って見るといいと思います！

三宮駅からほど近くにあり、ぶらりと寄りました。戦争の空襲や、阪神淡路大震災をくぐり抜けて建設当時の状態で残っています。入り口が二つあり、女性は二階からの見学になるようです。一階に入り、建物の由来やイスラム教の説明をしていただきました。写真撮影も大丈夫とのことでした。

It's the first mosque (probably, I am not sure) in Japan buit before 1950. It has all facilities that a typical mosque have. There are may halal shops and restaurants available around it.

1935年（昭和10年）に建てられた日本最古のモスクです。アラビア風のドームやアラベスク模様が施された美しい外観が特徴的です。内部には豪華なシャンデリアが下がり、床にはペルシア絨毯が敷かれています。 イスラム教徒でなくても、少人数であれば予約無しで見学可能です。(団体の場合は電話で要予約)ただし、肌の露出（半ズボン、ミニスカート等）がある方は入館できないそうです。

日本で最初のモスクだそうです。中に入って受付の方に見学希望だと伝えると通してもらえます。男性は１階、女性は２階からみるスタイルです。中はしっかりとした作りで、ふかふかの絨毯が引かれています。正面にはお祈りの時間が表示されたデジタル時計がかけられていて、異文化を感じることができます。お祈りの時間はHPで確認できるのでそこは避けたほうがよいと思います。

とても楽しみにしていました。イスラム文化独特の美しい幾何学文様、静謐な祈りの空間など…ところが弟は礼拝堂の一階に入れたのですが、母と私は二階から、しかも目隠しの間から礼拝堂を覗くだけでした。あらためてここはイスラム教の施設、女性は差別されて当たり前の場所なのだと思い知らされました。仕方の無いこととはいえ少しショックでした。

Nice place for doing Jumat praying. This mosque can be use nor only for doing the Jumat praying, but you can also come here to do you five times salah.

This is the first mosque ever built in Japan in 1935. This mosque demonstrates the ancient architecture of Turkish in the heart of modern Kobe city.

I did not have the luck to get inside this beautiful architect but I still enjoyed watching it from outside. Halal restaurants nearby available.

ここを訪れたのは１１年ぶりくらいです。外壁を塗り替えたのか、きれいになっているという印象を受けました。 信者の女性は最近訪れていない印象を受けました。 アンティーク感のあるシャンデリアに日本最古のモスクを感じました。 観光客は来ておらず、本来の祈りの場として機能していると思いました。

イスラム教、モスク好きの私としてはイスラム世界へ海外旅行出来なくなって久しぶりに訪れたモスクです。 見学は自由。エジプト人のスタッフさんが丁寧に説明してくれました。

日本のモスクで最も古い1930年代の建物は神戸 異人館街に馴染んでいる。内部見学可能で、対面でイスラム教の話を日本語で出来て大変貴重で勉強になる。聖職の方は穏やかでなんでも聞いてといってくれるので是非訪れてほしい。聖域なので観光の場では無い事は自覚しましょう。

男性と女性は別の階で見学できる。 曜日によれば日本語の話せるガイドがいるそうだが英語のガイドさんもいる。 入り口で写真を撮っていると 近くのハラルのお店の方が声をかけてくれて 中を案内してくれた。 イスラームの方は親切で本当に優しい。

まあ日本では全くと呼んでも良いくらいなじみがない、ムスリム即ちイスラム教のモスクであるが、メッカの方向や礼拝の時間を示す時計もあり、何となくではあるが雰囲気を感じ取ることができ、短い時間ではあったが個人的には勉強にはなりました。

素敵な空間です。 お祈りの場所を教えてくれ、イスラムについてあまり知らないとお伝えしたら、小冊子を下さいました。あくまで、信者ではない立場からみて、信徒の一歩を踏み出したい方には門戸は開かれている感じです。

この辺りは半径100m以内に、モスク・ユダヤ教寺院・インドのナンチャラ寺院・日本の神社が見事に共存する。 世界でも稀な「宗教ごちゃまぜディスクリクト」でんがな。 な～に、やれば出来るじゃん→世界平和（笑）

日本最古のモスク。戦争でも震災でも残った祈りの場所。無宗教で勉強不足な私ですが丁寧に迎えてくれました。静かに失礼のないように見学。足を踏み入れその場でたくさん感じれる経験は大事にしようと思います。

とてもお掃除がいきとどき気持ち良く過ごせました。特に床のピカピカにはびっくりです!

１９３５年、日本で初のモスクとして建てられました。空襲や震災にも耐えた非常に立派な建物です。海外との交易で栄えた神戸らしい異国情緒あふれる建物です。

神戸北野は異人館で有名ですが 実は世界の寺院が集結してるんです❗❗ 観光地以外に目線を変えて ブラブラ散歩してみては❗ ⛪☺

モスクは大好き。 何回行っても気持ちが正しくなるし清くなる。 心からの祈りの場所。 ムスリムの方は綺麗好きで旅好き。そんなところも大好き。

無料で見学できます。 男性が1階、女性が２階で わかれなければいけません。 行くのなら同性で行ったほうがいいかも。 日本語もお上手でした。
