高雄中學的校訓<精益求精，實事求是>，培育非常多的人才。校友最懷念的人物是已經往生的王校長。當年王校長為了制止中午時間學生在街上趴趴走，所以關上校門，結果校長的公子自己也在翻牆外出的行列中，按校規要記大過一次，校長公子又將公告撕掉，王校長親自將公子開除，從此沒有人敢去當說客。有學生抱怨餐廳豬肉太肥，他親自向大家解釋，他中午也一樣在餐廳吃自助餐，一餐4.5元，一葷二素，飯量隨便吃，這些優點只有等待大家畢業之後，才會開始懷念學校的自助餐乾淨又衛生。他還將福利社的結餘存下來，蓋了一棟圖書館。王校長身教重於言教，讓畢業幾十年的校友，至今仍然懷念不已。

The place I studied for senior high school,the campus is quite large and it is easy for new students to got lost in the enormous campus,anyway the vibe here is chill~ there are few historic buildings which we still use~ All in all~ it’s a great school ❤️

Been here once for HBL, a bit too small major events and the seats are not comfortable either (not meant to be anyway I guess) Games are free though and it's just adjacent to the train station.

名校總有紅樓, 雄中也不例外. 前庭的六棵琉球松, 個頭雖不大, 可都是年逾八十的老松呢.
