We rented two cars. One of them had a tire which had been fixed, but it still leaked air. We came back at the agreed time, but we were told to pay for returning the car too late. Apparently, the guy at the counter wrote 18.00 as delivery time even though we agreed upon 20.00. Even though we didn't know they registered the wrong return time, we would've had the cars back by 18.00 hadn't it been for the tire problem. We had to stop on the side of the road to find out that the tire was completely flat. The car had to be towed to a workshop for a tire change before we could head back to Seoul. At the car rental, we were told that only one car had a malfunction, and that we had to pay extra for the other car. They basically told us that we should have left our family in the other car on the side of the road, even though the only Korean-speaking person was in the functioning car. By the way: none of the operators spoke English when selecting English at their phone service. When we told them that we didn't want to pay for their mistakes, they threatened to call the police. They were not apologetic at all, and they questioned everything we said. They even questioned the tire, even though we had picture proof and a business card from the workshop. Except from this, the cars were good. Still one star because of extremely bad service.

Sorry to post here as I cannot find the google pin for the Lotte Car Rental at Hongik (Hongdae). It was a terrible rental experience. Many unpleasant incidents. The car key battery went dead (we need to change the battery 4hrs after we took over the car (day1). Then 3rd day on the road trip, we have an alert of Urea (ours is diesel). End up we need to top up the Urea (10 liters clear liquid). The Urea should have been top up (same as full tank of diesel). Finally the one that really spoilt our final day itinerary is that the car battery died on us (and we did not leave the lights on). Called the emergency number and a mechanic came (not from lotte). Totally scrap our plan for the morning. Mechanic just jump started the car but cannot change the battery as he is not from Lotte. We are advised to keep the engine running while we drive all the way from Tongyeong to Seoul (400km and 6hrs ride). Imagine that we cannot stop the engine. My family had to drive non stop and cannot have a proper break. The car rental branch should have properly check and prepare the car. This is the worst experience I have had with a rental company. I had rented with Lotte Jeju and it was a good experience. This branch (Hongdae) need to be avoided. Not sure about the rest of the Lotte Branches in Seoul.

來韓國自駕絕對是選擇韓國最大的租車公司樂天，除了費用便宜外，車輛都超新！！開起來很舒適又不會有臭味、或者不乾淨，絕對是首選，租一天才2000多真的很便宜！ 另外韓國紅燈能右轉，車載導航功能很齊全，就連在地下停車場都能知道你在哪一層，但這次開車用Naver導航，語音有時候沒出來，GPS一直亂飄，手機用的時候一直當機，建議用kakaomap或者車載導航，車載導航很方便，從Naver看目的地的電話號碼，在導航直接輸入就可以查詢到了，路線車道也都畫的很清楚。 -租車流程挺簡單的，報到後填資料就帶你去取車，有CDW的關係，巡車都不用，直接教你怎麼開油箱，油滿還車，就可以離開了。 還車直接給鑰匙就能離開囉，都不用檢查車子！ -停車費： 路邊人工收費停車：NAMANE卡可以刷，WOWPASS、海外卡沒試過 停車場：基本上Namane卡都能刷，只有遇到兩個地方沒刷過， 一個是狎鷗亭附近的停車場，改刷wowpass有成功，一個是汝矣島現代百貨，改刷海外卡成功，wowpass就沒有試了 -收費站： 車輛沒有Hi-Pass 可以買或者走人工收費，人工收費不要走藍色車道，看收費站上面有個藍色底寫著현금就走這道，可以現金可以T-Money，我都是刷Namane的T-Money，沒有遇到刷不過的問題 -加油： 這次加了兩次，第一天在二村站附近的sk自助加油1公升1700，第二天在汝矣島人工加油gs加油1公升2195，差了很多，第一天跑了至少半桶油，加完才900台幣，第二天跑了1/4左右加了1300台幣⋯ 自助加油付款的時候刷Namane沒刷過，似乎是餘額不足，預扣款金額好像是150000韓幣，改刷海外卡成功，第二天用現金付款53000韓幣，自助加油網路上教學很多。

Staff counter was helpful and knows basic English, i came an hour early and the car is ready for collection. The rental office is open 24hrs and nearby Seoul Train Station. Best of all, the gas station is just outside the building so that you can top up before returning the car.

Very helpful. 24 hours. Helped us get set up with a rechargeable hipass card, too. Convenient location from Seoul Station... I'm not sure why the Incheon airport location closes so early, but it's easy to get to Seoul with the Airport Express.

Great experience renting a car. Booking direct on lotte website and picking up here instead of Incheon airport was half the price. If you can then don't pickup from Incheon and instead take direct train to Seoul station to pickup your car here

I needed a car for rent and went to Lotte Rent Car office near Seoul Subway station. To go to this place come out from the exit 15, cross the road. Go little left, pass the Korea National Theater Company and you reach the office of Lotte…

Car is reliable.Make sure you take notice and picture of the car before you drive off so they can't blame at you later. They help out with setting up the gps. But not much instruction of driving in Korea. So please research before it.

韓国で初めてのレンタカーだったが、スムースに貸し出してくれた。ネットの予約だと割引が多くて手続きも楽。車も新しく清潔でよかった。ただし、韓国ではどこでも基本的には免許取得後1年はレンタカー利用ができないので、注意が必要。

서울역 바로 뒤쪽에 있어서 위치가 좋고 24시간 오픈하고 있어서 시간에 구애되지 않고 렌트할 수 있습니다. 직원들도 친절했습니다.
