I say this with the most heaviest of hearts but the truth needs to be revealed. Having have had the pleasure by the grace of Allah to have been able to make salah in many different mosque around the world. unfortunately I have to say that my experience at this mosque has been the worst. I am not referring to the mosque facilities in particular. My main issue is regarding the imam who I will refer to as a munafiq. Who doesn’t like to have a conversation about issue related to salah. And when questioned he told me and another brother that if you are not happy about how I conduct salah here find another mosque to pray. He enjoy getting his ego stroked by some of his closest friends. Doesn’t really engage with the ummah. I believe because of his attitude and behaviour the dawah of Islam in Korea is suffering as for me he is the wrong representative of Islam in Korea.

MasyaAllah. What a magnificent looking mosque. Well kept and taken care by their mosque management. Its a must place to come by whenever am in Seoul. Of course for prayer & just a visit. Last came, they renovated and its looking even better. More spaces for the ladies. They even have cafe & library I think at the side now, didnt check our since it was Friday and of course it caters for Friday prayer. What a nice scenery to be witness. Many people, from so many walk of life. Religion really bring everyone to one place & see thing no discrimination. Alhamdulillah.

Islamic elementary school, where you can enjoy Islamic architecture, have a good view. Muslim mosques and grocery stores are concentrated around mosques. The view of Seoul from the parking lot in the temple is pretty good. Since he was not an Islamist, he could not enter inside. But there was elementary school together, and it was good to see class scene of students. There were many tourists. 이슬람 건축양식을 감상할 수 있는것, 전망이 좋은 곳, 이슬람초등학교가 같이 있어요. 이슬람 사원을 중심으로 이슬람 문화권 식당과 식료품점들이 밀집되어 있습니다. 사원에 있는 주차요금소 옆에서 보이는 서울 전망은 상당히 좋습니다. 이슬람 신자가 아니어서 내부에는 입장할 수 없었습니다. 다만, 초등학교가 같이 있어 학생들의 수업 장면을 볼 수 있어 좋았습니다. 관광객도 많은 편이었습니다.

Simply amazing. The jama'ah and the takmir were nice and friendly, the masjid itself is clean and beautiful. It's open for non-Muslims who want to learn about Islam or whoever else that wants to visit. Just keep in mind to respect the rules and manners. You could see tourists taking pictures of the masjid and some would even go inside. If you're ever in Seoul, this is definitely a go-to place to pray. There are also various choices of halal restaurants along the road leading to this masjid.

we thought that being the minority in Korea would be quite hard,,, but we both find this mosque,,, and suddenly feel like we do have brother and sister eventhough we are 2600 km away from our country,,, i know it is sound exaggerated but it does feel like we found oasis in the desert wkwkwk (other muslim traveller out there must have know how I feel right?!) ,, since it's hard to pray on time during a vacation in a country where muslim is minority ,,, we glad to find mosque here in Itaewon Korea! Beautiful. I am a traveler from the U.S. and tried to visit the masjid for Fajr. Unfortunately, the masjid was closed, which is something I’ve never seen. There was a sign that said open 9am - Isha. There were prayer mats outside of the masjid for salat. Great view of the city. About 5-10 minutes walking from nearest metro stop. Please update hours on the google website. I spent 1.5 hrs in total traveling to to pray Fajr at masjid for it only to be closed even though hours are posted as 24/7.

Only mosque and islamic knowledge centre in seoul . The land for this mosque was provided by the governement of korea. Parking facilities avaialable with seperate prayer room for ladies. Aboloution and toilets for gents right below to the entrance .ladies toilets and aboloution are on the top floor. It is open to all nationalities and religions .ladies are required to wear appropriate clothing to enter the mosque. There are lots of halal food restaurants and supermarkets with halal food near the mosque.

Beautiful mosque on top of the hill with an amazing view of the city. Prayer Room for women is spacious and clean. Alhamdulillah, grateful for facilities for women when traveling. This is one of the mosque with women's area separated from men's main hall, hard to feel part of the congregation during jammat. It's nicer to be inside the main hall with a mezzanine floor for women or a seperate barrier for women so you can see the immaam. There is a s big screen in the womens hall however.

I was surprised by the greatness of this temple. Very beautiful, big and majestic. This temple is located between the largest living area of the Muslim community in Seoul. From this temple, we can look down on the whole view of Seoul city. There is also a Primary School and a Kindergarten dedicated to Muslims. Thanks to this center, a Muslim who comes to live in Seoul will not be surprised and lonely, but there are many fellow countrymen here to help and guide. I really envy them.

이태원은 독특한 풍경, 볼거리 등으로 내국인들이 오히려 낯선 느낌을 찾아 나들이하는 장소이다. 이태원에는 우리나라에 그 수가 매우 희소한 무슬림성당 '이슬람중앙회'가 있다. 사람들이 무슬림에 대한 편견을 가지고 있지만, 그들도 우리와 다를바 없는 일상을 사는 이들이고 이곳은 그들의 성전이다 이태원역 1번 출구에서 나와 도보로 10여분 거리이며 사원은 그들의 독특한 문양과 건축양식을 최소한의 수수함으로 보여주고 있다. 어쩌면, 그것은 종교에 대한 편견이 작용한 탓도 있을 것이다 (수많은 화려한 기독교성전에 비하면 말이다) 이곳에선 낮보다 오히려 일몰지는 저녁이 좋았다. 나 역시 종교보다는 건축, 사람들의 모습, 그곳의 풍광에 더 끌리는 사람이라, 이슬람중앙회에로 가는 길에 만나는 터키식 식당들과 성전에서 내다본 도심의 경치, 그리고 예배하러 온 사람들의 모습을 보는 것이 좋았던 하루였다

Masha Allah , a must visit place in Seoul for muslims . People from different parts of the world come here for Prayer eg. Pakistan , Uzbekistan, indonesia , usa , Bangladesh, turkey , Russia , westindies , Africans , indians , koreans etc. In ramadan they will provide beds to sleep and they also provide food for people those who offer fasting ( morning & Evening ). Bathrooms are available . Parking place is also available .

전화로 미리 방문예약드렸으나 남자직원분이 불친절하고 귀찮아했다. 자기들 일도 바빠서 안내할시간이없다고.(안내를 부탁한적도없고,혹시나 민폐끼칠까봐 그냥 미리 허락만 받기위해 전화한거였음) 실제로 방문해보니 안내하시는 분들도 전혀 보이지 않있다. 뭘그렇게 귀찮아했는지 모르겠다. 아마 이슬람사원을 관광지로 착각하고 놀러오는 사람들이 많아서 그렇게 응대했던것같다. 무슬림인 친구와 조용히 예배시간에 맞춰 여자예배당에서 예배하고 나왔다. 예배시간에 맞춰 예배하러온 귀여운 여자아이들도 여럿 있었다. 주차공간은 여유가있었으나 1시간에5천원정도 유료요금이 있었다. 외국에 온 느낌이 드는 멋진 사원이었다. 사원 내부는 남자만 출입가능하다고 하길래 진짜인지는 모르지만 괜히 민폐끼치기싫어서 내부에 들어가보진 못했다.

I used to go here for Jumat prayer before realizing my University has one. It was pretty high up on a hill so expect a pretty tiring hike. There’s basically two route going here from the Itaewon station. By the busy bustling streets with the clubs or use the stair near the main street. There’s also a lot of halal food around here so its pretty easy to get food.

Sweet mosque south of Iteawon station located on a hill top. On Jumu'a Muslim residents, most of them from Central Asian origins, in addition to visitors fill the mosque. The Imam is Korean who preaches in Arabic, English and Korean. The mosque is surrounded by plenty Muslim restaurants, mostly Indian, Pakistani and Turkish.

Came here when we take a break from our trip to itaewon while looking for halal food. The mosque is at the pretty high place so you can enjoy the view from mosque. The place is clean and comforting for us whose a moslem traveler. They also have moslem school around the mosque and they have a really nice security who help us when we ask a lot about this place.

Definitely the best place ever to find peace when I was living in Seoul. Reaching here is like a journey to go to Jannah bcs you have to go through all the distractions(pubs, bars, etc) along the way from the subway station. Once you got there, MasyaAllah, you can find peace easily.

The one and only mosque in Seoul, I've ever visited. I don't really know how many mosques in that country, but if we want to count, maybe no more then ten fingers! So be proud and thankful of being moeslem in Indonesia. Furthermore, tell the world, what literally Islam is, by doing what Qur'an explained.

The only one great mosque you will find in Seoul. It's about 15 minutes walk from exit 3 Itaewon Station. Go straight until the junction and then turn right up to the hilly road and then turn left when you find T-Junction. The mosque is in your left side.

It is the first target to all Muslims in Seoul. Whatever you live in seoul or just visit for tourism, you must visit the islamic center. It is located in itaewon, a lot of halal restaurant nearby and foreign goods markets.

This is in the central point of Itawan, on the top of the hill. In Juma khutba, there is English and Korean recitation. Very Muslim friendly area. Outside of the mosque, there are so many halal restaurants and shops.

Steep stairway up do be careful. Not disabled-person friendly. Otherwise the masjid itself is nice. A sense of calm and tranquility there mashallah. Ancient look preserved.

My favourite place in South Korea. Alhamdulillah, It’s a heavenly calm feeling to watch the widespread Seoul and Han River sitting on the stairs of the mosque.

Simple and cozy mosque. The place for ablution is quiet far. No slippers are provided. I suggest you can buy some and donate some if you want to come here.e

In this Masjid there is the head quarter of the Islamic federation. I completely prayed and talked with Imam and staff they are decent kind and cooperative

한국 이슬람교의 상징적 곳으로 도심에 가까이 있어 이용하기 편리하다. 예배당 안은 무슬림만 출입 가능. 건물은 소박하지만 무슬림들의 종교 문화를 느낄 수 있는 모습이어서 방문해볼 만하다.

서울에서 이방인이 된 느낌을 받아 이색적이었습니다. 사원은 물론 계단에서 서울의 풍경을 볼 수 있어 좋았습니다. 그리고 이슬람 신자가 아니면 내부 입장은 안되니 참고하기 바랍니다.
