Absolutely criminal behaviour by Impark which ruined a night at the Oilers game. Firstly, I pre-paid and pre-booked my parking online, only to arrive with an attendant ushering me away because the lot was full. After complaining that I had already paid and reserved a spot, I discovered that pre-purchasing online did not actually guarantee a parking stall. Beyond this atrocious over-selling of the parking lot, I was eventually let in to make my own parking space. After the game, I arrived at my car to find a violation ticket, because the lot patroller saw a “clear dash” even though I had clearly placed the white payment receipt face-up on my black dash. I will absolutely NEVER park here again and nobody else should either (unless they like getting scammed). Now, I have to waste my time arguing with these crooks on the phone tomorrow after taking my $26 and denying me a spot, and then having the audacity to issue me a $98 ticket because their patroller needs an eye exam.
