I’ve been coming to 123 Kerrisdale since I moved here. I’ve had a lot of traumatic experiences with dentistry, and my teeth were not in good shape. When I came here with all my dental issues, instead of judging me or making me feel ashamed, they met me with compassion and we made a plan to save my teeth. It was months worth of work to undo years of damage and there was even a point where sometimes, we were unsure if we could save everything. They were able to perform miracle work, and every single tooth I have has been saved. Not only that, but it has been almost a year since I’ve had these fillings and they’re still feeling great. Previous dentists have given me fillings that I’ve had to come and get fixed within weeks, and I’ve had no issues with these fillings. They always made sure I was comfortable and have been so understanding, accommodating and patient with me. I can’t recommend 123 Kerrisdale enough. In fact, I love them so much that even though I’m moving to Surrey tomorrow, I’m going to continue coming here even though it takes two hours for me. I don’t trust anyone else with my teeth. I am absolutely frustrated as I have been waiting for my wisdom teeth to be extracted for a long time and on the day of the appointment, I receive a call to check if I followed the instruction for IV sedation which I have not been informed about it at all. Because I have had breakfast, I was not able to go through with the Sedation and now I was asked to reschedule which by itself is very inconvenient. Then I receive an email with the IV sedation instructions (for the first time) and the email includes that I have lost the $250 deposit I paid for the IV sedation. So instead of apologizing for not sending me the instructions prior to the appointment or at least letting me know by phone in any of the phone calls the weeks before to confirm and pay the deposit for the appointment, they put the blame on me and just expect me to know what I should do before showing up. I work multiple job and I am a full time student but I am the one that should know and ask about what to do, not the dentist office that I am paying close to $2000 to for a 3 hrs procedure!

I have been going to this centre for many years. There have been a few problems in the past but my last exchange has prompted me to switch centres. Most recently I was billed for a cleaning months after the appointment because my plan would not cover it. After several exchanges I was directed to call my insurance to verify why I was not covered. They advised me that is was the responsibility of the centre to confirm whether I was covered for the cleaning. I was told to go back to the centre and communicate that to them. The exchanges between the centre that followed were very eye opening. They were not professional and persistent. They would not stop contacting me. I finally paid for the appointment myself. Very disappointed and no longer a client.

I am very grateful to Dr. Grisdale for his outstanding care. This was my very first experience receiving an implant. Dr. Grisdale provided excellent support during all steps of the procedures, very clearly outlined the processes, and also provided countless opportunities to ask questions. Lee is a remarkable assistant to Dr. Grisdale and her kind and caring manner in addition to her excellent care was invaluable. Georgina is a most welcoming and pleasant staff member at the office and provided much needed guidance. I highly recommend Dr. Grisdale and his staff to anyone who is in need of the services that I have received.

I love the team at Kerrisdale Dentistry. The whole process from booking the appointment and confirming your appointment to the actual session with the dentists and hygienist is flawless. Dr. Hamidi is simply amazing and she is a very caring dentist. She is always gentle and takes time to explain the whole process especially when it’s a complex process. Dr. Gill is also very generous with his time and does an amazing job. I feel so lucky to be a patient there and I highly recommend this dental office to anyone who is looking to change or is new in town. Thank you Kerrisdale team for an amazing job!!

I found each one of the staff members very friendly and quite knowledgeable in their own field. It was my best experience with a dentist in Canada. Some of the things I really liked about this dental clinic are: 1) Giving enough information and instructions e.g. on how to use dental guard, flossing,..., 2) Sending appointment reminders both via email and text message, 3) Being very on-time about appointments (I have never been waiting for more than 5minutes), 4) Being friendly and almost always smiling. I really recommend this clinic to everyone.

I am a new patient at this clinic I had a bad experience with a tooth extraction as a young child and since I have had to be put asleep for even a filling. I had an extraction done by Doctor Sara Hamadi with just freezing and she was incredibly kind and patient with me and I have since been back for a cleaning with Christine and couldn’t be happier. Dr. Hamadi did a thorough exam on my very neglected teeth and worked with me to come up with a plan to get my dental health straightened out. Beautiful office, great staff, I couldn’t be happier.

Best. Dental. Clinic. Ever!!! Seriously, these guys are awesome!! The staff are amazing, kind, and knowledgable. The procedures are easy and efficient. They do good work but beware of one thing: relentless upselling. When I receive advice from Kerrisdale Dental Centre, I am never sure whether it's in my best interest or an upsell. Other than that, they do good work. The reply is hilarious, btw. When I had a crown installed, it was too tight. The response for the defective crown was to try to sell me three more jobs. I referral to an endodontist was pushed in my face as I left the place. It's all upsell all the time.

I am very impressed with the professionalism in 123 Kerrisdale Dental Centre, From the reception area to the dental chair, everything is done with perfection. My special thanks to Jovana. I found my implant process terrifying, but having Jovana by the dental chair on every visit, I managed to calm my fears, Jovana was exceptionally attentive. I made it through because she was there. Good luck getting an appointment here. They do good work but priced high and won’t fit you in for months even when it’s an emergency Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy I even got a full set of veneers here and have been going to them for 10+ years but they made me wait 2 months for an appointment to extract my cracked tooth which was causing me so much pain. So I made appointment with another dentist who put me in right away

I am so glad I switched my dental, orthodontic and periodontic work to this clinic. Dr. Jim Grisdale is a phenomenal periodontist and he was so kind, gentle and personable throughout my gum work. Lee is also of an allstar of a person. If you are a new patient at this clinic, ask to be treated by Lee! Lastly, the front desk staff are delightful. Georgina and Elyse (I think) are very organized, kind and FUNNY.

The best dentist I have ever visited. My last visit was 8 years ago and these team very kind and professional. Doctor is so knowledgeable and skilled. Last time I pulled a tooth and to be honest it toke 20 min with almost 0 pain, also he didn’t give me painkiller or any unnecessary pills . He is very nice and his team super friendly and professional. I am truly blessed to have him as my dentist

I have a lot of anxiety about dental work and the team managed to calm me down with still feeling it was my decision. I was very close to walking out. Nothing they did my own stuff. But they broke down the procedure in small doable increments. In addition, they changed slightly the process to make me more comfortable.

It took 10 months from first consult to two new implants, with multiple visits. The staff are excellent and very good at keeping me calm and explaining each procedure and then getting each step done quickly and professionally. Perhaps not the cheapest, but probably worth paying for the expertise and skill shown.

Normally I do not do this, but I must say that staff was extremely helpful with an emergency situation I found myself in, just few days before departing on long oversea journey. I am grateful for the care and compassion they have shown, it has helped me at a time when I needed it most. Again, my sincere thanks.

I usually don’t give ratings but felt moved to so do. I recently got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and it was a super painless and quick procedure (20 minutes.) I can to Kerrisdale dental by referral and I couldn’t be more pleased: the whole team is very fast and efficient at their jobs. I have a long process ahead with a tooth implant and I feel so confident with Dr.hamidi. She’s a kind and very smart doctor: she kept me in the loop for the whole process.

Very efficient! Had a teeth grinding problem. Went in for my appointment, no wait time, and in two days I got my night guard and teeth mold. Very clean, friendly and efficient staff, and an overall good experience.

I have know Dr. Amin Shivji for many years. He is a great fellow and a wonderful dentist. He also generously supports oral cancer research. This is a dentist who definitely puts his money where his mouth is. ;)
