Partying on Fridays and Saturdays has majorly been an activity done by many Nairobians and finding a cool place to blow some steam off has always been one of the dilemma of making plans. 1824 is located just next to Langata road at Langata/carnivore stage. It's decorated with a wooden and green touch. The high ceilings with translucent sheets and dangling flower baskets creates the green house illusion. The tables and chairs are made of wood. The service is good and they serve food and alcoholic drinks. Some drinks vary according to the type, quality and quantity. It also is a good place to catch a football match on weekends because they have a couple of screens showing supersport. They have a great music selection and enough space to dance. They also have ample parking space. Indeed it's one of the nicest place to go partying.

The place looks like a big hall and you have to go quite early if you want to get a good spot to sit (most people reserve sits beforehand). Otherwise you'll end up sitting at the end where you'll feel like you're literally outside the club. Service is only good if you're ordering 'expensive' drinks if you order beer/cocktails waiters take almost 40 minutes to bring you your order. Other waiters take your order and if it's a 'cheap' order they will never come back to serve you.

Getting a table was quite hectic but once we got a table I must say the waiters were friendly,service was 8/10 and the DJ kept us on our feet playing hit after hit. Generally it was an amazing experience

Worst lady security guard at the entrance facing the main road. How do you ask a customer where he/she has decided to keep an item that is not allowed inside the club? How is that her problem? This fat lady has no good PR at all. To me, its definitely not a place to visit again. Total racism and sidelining of customers......nkt!!!

Love the food! Service is always exceptional as well. They have one of the best alcoholic drinks selection I've seen so far, best prices on Single Malt Whisky. Will always be one of my favorites! And the music is on point. Amazing crowd, good music, serene environment, superb service.

This place is always overcrowded with people from allover Nairobi....parking lot is sometimes a challenge... its also accessible to people using wheelchairs...prices are not exaggerated.... Their waiter n waitress r top...but the security team is not to the standard

I'm giving it a two star because one, previously I used to visit the place and I never had any problem with the female soldier at the gate. But the two last times I didn't get in because the soldier gets people in depending on her mood and judgement! Bye 1824!

Great music!!! A wide variety of cocktails to pick from. The place is packed on weekends. Full of a young and trendy crowd. Great place to go clubbing with friends. Meaty snacks readily available. Ample parking space and easily accessible via public means.

This place is always a vibe any day of the week though I really like going on Thursday and Sunday

It's unfortunate that I come to your club and a bouncer had the guts to call us chokora after purchasing a few drinks, that didn't really seat well with us considering we did report the matter to the security head na nothing was done about it

I spent just about an hour here fir drinks with friends. It looks like a great place to visit for sporting events as the had several large screen TVs shoeing some of the world cup games. Service was great, but we did not have any meals here

Fun crowd, great music. I recommend for any first time visitor to Nairobi who loves a good beat. Mixture of Kenyan and East African dancehall, Nigerian music, some South African music, reggae dancehall and hip hop as well as dance

Hapa ni nyumbani been going to this place since it opened used to be my local yaani ilikuwa neighbourhood...doesn't grow old all these years later...affordable drinks and the crowd is lit you can't get bored here.

You'll be chased like a dog though, the 'manager' is something else. Otherwise fantastic place, just won't be going back.

If you're looking to have a fun night with friends or family, 1824 is definitely the place to be. Good vibes, good music and food too. Would definitely recommend. Thursday's and Sunday's are definitely a vibe!

I cannot complain about this place. I found the service to be excellent, the staff very friendly and the music even better. I love that it is very spacious, it's very big and there is a lot of fresh air there.

I enjoyed partying there. Drinks are not that affordable and the service is very slow but the DJ killed it. Very rowdy place as well. We had to find seats ourselves it was crazy

Great ambience with an outdoor setting, and easily accessible. Food & beverages come at affordable prices. It could however get overly crowded for a chill out spot.
