The HSC food court saved me this winter when I was stuck on campus for a couple days. The food is better than expected for a hospital, and they stock some top tier baked goods! The imperial cookie, for example, (I forget the source bakery, but it was so good I had to ask) was the best I’ve ever had. Also tried some other options which were stale... so it can be hit or miss. The Tim Hortons is a limited location and they don’t offer what most do. Expect coffee and donuts, but not too much more and no rewards. What is nice is that the Tim’s staff can run over to other ‘restaurants’ in the cafeteria and sell things in which you may be interested. This is most applicable in the late/early hours of the day when these other ‘restaurants’ are not staffed, but the 24-hour Tim’s is. Overall, HSC is well served by the food court.

This food court is located inside the Health Sciences Center Hospital on the second floor in the general hospital. It is open to patients, visitors and staff. Hot food is typically served throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but usually closes by 8 pm. There are different areas in the food court that serve different dishes. During off hours, there is a limited menu for hot items that are quick to make and also a variety of pre-packaged sandwiches, salads, wraps, and desserts from the Tim Hortons counter. The Tim Hortons is 24 hours, you'll find the donuts, some tim bits, muffins, cookies, croissants, and chocolate Danish. However, it is not the full menu that would see from a regular Tim's.

They have good choices out there, but the food isn't good, unfortunately. It's not the worst food but not the best. The best restaurant is Salisbury's house, which is ironic because it's nothing but unhealthy food! I must say, it is not 24 hours. The only 24-hour thing in there is Tim Hortons. The location was hard to find, but when you found it it's easy to come back. You can easily access it through the tunnel system of HSC, located in the green section. Be careful, after I think 8:00 pm you can't access the tunnels from everywhere, especially from Women's Hospital.

They are always courteous. Not a lot of selection to choose from at night, but the coffee is hot and it's a quiet place to collect your thoughts in the wee hours of the night.

Clean, always available, pretty good selection. A Tim's (sort of, no tims cards) right inside. But they discriminate based on whether you pay cash or not. That should probably be illegal.

I work a lot of night shifts and there aren't a lot of options after Salisbury House closes at 8pm. Tim's is the only thing open, and options are very minimal.
