2 B Wired provided excellent communication and service when wanted pot lights in our living room and kitchen and a generator for back up power in case of another ice storm. We wanted to use someone local to us and reached out to the 2 B Wired team. They showed a real interest in we wanted and listened and gave helpful feedback on what what was and was not feasible given the aged and specifics of our house. They provided a quick estimate of cost on labour and supplies and walked me through the estimate when I had questions.We shopped around and their estimate was fair but not cheapest we received but in the end we were happy that the service they provided was worth their price. The electrician and his apprentice were punctual and pleasant. They made some mess while working but cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and were careful with our things. Now they are done our living room and kitchen are so much brighter and more functional and livable. They did sell us up on putting in dimmers and I am really glad we went with their suggestion on that. All in all are very satisfied with the service and we are relieved to have the generator installed and warrantied in case of any future need.

I hired Ben and 2BWired to install two lamp posts in my front and back yard. It’s a bit of a complex project (pouring concrete, digging trenches, running wires to the panel etc. ). Other electricians I contacted didn’t have the expertise (sometimes their assessment, sometimes mine), tried to talk me into a quicker, easier (for them) solution or quoted a price that was over the moon. Not Ben. He clearly knew his stuff and welcomed the project. Ben is that rare breed of contractor who shows up when he says he will, is reachable and communicative, sticks to his timeline, and does excellent work at a reasonable price. What else could you ask for? I was so pleased with the work on the lamp posts that I rehired 2BWired to upgrade my panel and electrical service. Again, excellent work completed on time and on budget. I highly recommend Ben and 2BWired and would not hesitate to call them the next time I require electrical work.

I had an unpleasant encounter with an individual who drove a vehicle belonging to this company. In response to the owner: Shame they couldn't just accept the poor encounter I've had with them, and move on from my review. Instead they felt the need to stalk my past reviews and critique me, as well as the other reviews I've submitted for other companies. Average individual doesn't go out of their way to submit reviews for a business unless they've had either an exceptionally good or somewhat poor experience. Seems the person who operates this business doesn't understand this. My take away from this business is: if you want to be critiqued, insulted and talked down to, please be sure to frequent this business.

I had the pleasure of hiring 2B Wired, and let me tell you, it was an electrifying experience! From the moment Ben arrived, it was clear he was on fire with his skills. He cut a beautifully clean channel in my basement ceiling to replace some faulty wiring and cleaned up so that you’d never know the ceiling was cut in the first place. Ben updated all the ceiling pot lights and installed energy efficient LEDs. He advised us on all matters, giving us options and recommendations. He consulted on the kinds of lights, dimmers, remotes and updated everything. The lighting is now phenomenal! It feels like daylight in here. It is a second time we hired Ben. This time he fixed our broken exhaust fan. He responded on a same day we called him. Since it is an old fan, Ben put so much of his time and effort to find a spare part (motor) and he did not charge us extra for it. Replaced the part and now we have a working fan again. Thanks! My lights were flashing on and off like it was a rave. Turns out I had arcing behind my electrical panel that burned several holes in the hub and destroyed a few breakers. Ben and Rachel were quick to diagnose the problem, identify the correct replacement parts, pick up the parts from nearby, and do the full installation in one morning. I'm forever grateful for the quick and professional job they did at a reasonable price.

I hired 2B Wired to inspect a property, provide a list of deficiencies and a quote for fixing them. They came and did the inspection, and I paid. Then they disappeared without providing the deficiencies list and the quote - which was the reason that I needed the inspection. I've been texting and calling, unable to get a hold of anyone.
