First off, hiring a car from this company in Cape Town means going to THRIFTY car rental booth at the airport, then they take you to Britz 4x4 who actually are renting your car. There seems to actually be no 4 Seasons Car hire. Once at Britz, hire started off great but quickly went downhill. In a nutshell, were sold additional "no worries insurance" to give us 24hr assistance and cover all with the exception of flipping and flooding. BUT, when the car actually broke down, NO assistance was provided (even though we were stranded in the parking lot of a lodge which we subsequently realized was actually the local bar with a lot of rather unsavory characters surrounding us! fine - that's not Britz' fault). We were told to call back in the morning. After several phone calls, they tried to charge us upfront for damages even though they'd not seen the car, nor asked what was wrong, nor tried to assess any actual problem besides knowing the car would not engage in gear. We actually called 4 Seasons in Holland to get assistance. This may have been the catalyst for Britz agreeing eventually to pay towing and hotel charges for the duration we were stranded. (all this organized, NOT BY BRITZ, but by strangers we were fortunate enough to meet to took us in during the whole ordeal.) We were stranded for 3 days (full disclosure, we were told the car could be repaired in one day and thought we would only be stuck one additional day.) As it turned out, the shop was closed so we requested the replacement vehicle. This was to arrive by noon Sunday from Johannesburg, meeting us in Gabarone. All communication stopped at around 3pm and the driver of the replacement truck finally made contact at nearly 10pm. During this radio silent period, we again tried 4 Seasons to find out what was going on. We got zero response. By this time, we were due to return the car in Cape Town in 4 days. We requested that our rental be extended by the 3 days lost so the remaining days of our holiday could be spent actually seeing something rather than just making the 1500km drive back to Cape Town. (We'd planned to have 8 days to make this journey and were planning a scenic route as you do when you hire a 4x4 camper to drive cross-countries). They finally agreed but tried to go back on paying the hotel bill for when we were stranded. We'd verbally confirmed that they would pay the extra charges we incurred but since, they've somehow come up with another "fair reimbursement" figure and closed the door on any further communication. I've tried to inquire with Britz and no longer get any response. Even though our rental was through 4 Seasons, they seem to have just collected the upfront payment and then disappeared mostly. Tried to dispute through my credit card company and because we did pay for the insurance, we can't withhold payment to other vendors that were incurred because of our issues with Britz. Overall terrible experience service wise. Car/gear/supplies were fine but obviously don't belong to 4 Seasons. Overall, no benefit to going with 4 Seasons. My Belgian friends felt slightly more comfortable hiring from them as they seem to have some Dutch connection. ?? If you're willing to roll the dice and hope you don't actually have any problems or have to deal with anyone, fleet, supplies, gear is decent.

Goed en persoonlijk mailcontact met Wouter. Qua verhuur en kosten liep alles goed. Qua kosten een stuk goedkoper uit dan via Hertz direct. Je boekt een auto in een bepaalde categorie/klasse. Dit was voor ons niet geheel duidelijk, hierdoor kregen we een andere auto als dat we geboekt hadden (bewust voor deze auto gekozen i.v.m. cruisecontrol en beenruimte). Na mailcontact met 4seasons hebben zij het uitgelegd en nog wel ons verzoek neergelegd bij de autoverhuurmaatschappij (Hertz). Uiteindelijk konden wij na extra mailen met Hertz alsnog de auto omwisselen. Al met al goede en persoonlijke service!

We hebben via 4 Seasons Car Rental een 2-tal auto's gehuurd voor onze reis door Zuidelijk Afrika. Eerst een 4*4 met daktenten (trip vanaf Kaapstad via Namibie en Botswana naar Johannesburg) en daarna een SUV (vanaf Johannesburg langs de oost- en zuidkust terug naar Kaapstad). In totaal 15.000 km gereden. Wouter heeft goed advies gegeven, de offertes bij de verschillende autoverhuurbedrijven geregeld en korting kunnen bedingen. Zodoende kregen we prima autos (via Britz en EuropCar) tegen een prima prijs. Zeker aan te bevelen om autohuur via 4Seasons te huren!

Wouter heeft ons prima geholpen met de huur van een auto (busje) voor 6 personen. Goede communicatie per mail. Ophalen in Kaapstad Centrum liep soepel. Prijs en auto helemaal prima. Hyundai Staria met veel ruimte voor 6 personen en 6 koffers. We hebben hem vol getankt. Enige wat Europcar nog rekende was een bedrag voor Refuelling en service fee. Daar het niet veel was (285+43 zar) hebben wij het zo gelaten. Dit is niets ten nadele van 4 Seasons Car Rental. Zou zeker hier weer de auto huren!!

We zaten in februari 2022 in Kaapstad zonder huurauto, alles was verhuurd! Geen auto te krijgen wegens opening parlementair jaar, met ons vele anderen zonder auto. Via een Zuid Afrika facebook groep vonden we " 4 Seasons Car Rental". Een telefoontje, 24 uur van spanning en toen kwam het verlossende bericht dat ze een auto hadden gevonden op een locatie 45 Uber taxi minuten verwijderd van Kaapstad. Hulde voor de perfecte service en de nazorg, alles was goed geregeld.

Flawless service. I booked a car for two weeks from the Netherlands and I was contacted by a Dutch speaking person with a Dutch phone number. They told me to print the order form in order to be able to hand it over to the actual rental shop. And that's almost all I head to do. The contract was clear and I didn't have any issues or unsuspected costs. The price was also very good compared to other rentals.

Top verhuurder! In het woud van verhuurders die elk hun eigen voorwaarden erop na houden, was ik op zoek naar duidelijkheid. Wouter reageerde snel (in het Nederlands) op al mijn vragen via Whatsapp en mail. De huur voorwaarden zijn duidelijk en de afrekening na mijn vakantie was zoals aangegeven.

Voor het 2e opvolgende jaar een auto gehuurd via 4 Seasons car rental. Goede service, alles snel en duidelijk geregeld. Wat ik heel belangrijk vind is dat je snel antwoord krijgt op je vragen. Een wijziging door gecancelde vlucht was ook zo geregeld. Een zekerheid voor de volgende keer!

Al meerdere keren via 4 seasons een auto gehuurd in Zuid-Afrika en wat een verademing. Naast een goed aanbod voor een scherpe prijs is de 'handling' super makkelijk en snel. Goed werk van Wouter en zijn team. Echt een aanrader.

4 Seasons car rental is, wat ons betreft, een enorme aanrader! Vlotte telefonische communicatie met het kantoor. De verhuur ging snel, soepel, geen problemen gehad en alles was zoals aangegeven tijdens het aanmeldproces.

Heel goed geholpen om een 4x4te huren voor Namibië en Botswana. We konden de auto ophalen in Kaapstad en inleveren in Botswana. Verliep in Nederlanden Kaapstad allebei heel soepel. Een aanrader om een auto bij te huren!

Wij hebben een goed onderhouden wagen ontvangen. Het ophalen nam wel wat tijd in beslag, terwijl dit eenvoudiger zou kunnen. Het terug afleveren van de wagen ging zeer vlot. Al bij al waren wij zeer tevreden.
