The WORST 7-ELEVEN IN THE ENTIRE CITY!!! It is now 1:19AM on Sun 6/16, there is a bus stop right in front of this location in the heart of downtown Chicago. At 1:03 AM the clerk sends his associate into the store and grabs a free bottle of wine and he and the clerk come outside and the clerk locks the door. The tall clerk and his associate sits in the very small spaced window seat and I literally watch 8 customers come to the door to open it to purchase something and the clerk didn't even acknowledge them and smoked a cigarette and drank his wine in front of the store. This takes the cake today. How can you do that to patrons? No 7-ELEVEN I've ever been to throughout the country compares to this place. Every other day this store has bums, drug dealers, etc in the doorway of the store and surrounding the registers making it difficult to come inside this place and it's been this way for months!! Most are friends with the employees here!!!! The other stores less than a block away wouldn't tolerate this behavior. This location is smack in the heart of downtowns busiest street! I will never go in there again and I don't recommend this place to anyone sane! I'm from the hood and they are beyond ridiculous. The owners and managers couldn't possibly care to examine who they hire! If the owners ran the tape (which I hope is actually recording because there is a camera right outside the door) from 1:00 AM- 1:20 AM 6/16 and see the amount of money they lost they should fire that employee whom decided to lock the doors to drink and smoke with his buddy right in front of the store in DOWNTOWN CHICAGO ON STATE AND JACKSON

Just your basic Loop 7-eleven, with big gulps, coffee, etc. The day I was there was the first day after Gov Pritzker shut down all restaurants and bars. Downtown was empty, but this 7-11 was full of guys throwing out conspiracy theories about the virus: it's the eye of the beast from the bible; this was planted as a second enslavement of people of color; Trump is sending out money to try to buy the election, etc. If anything else, it was entertaining!

Just left this 7-11 and got to the register. I opened the app to redeem my points. I LITERALLY showed the cashier the app, the item and hit redeem in front of his face. Not only did it take my rewards points, but it didn't deduct the item off. The cashier then had the audacity to say I had to pay for the very item that was supposed to be FREE! So, I left everything right at the register. This location won't get a dime of my money ever again.

I work the night shift and get off at random times and this new guy that works nights never opens the door. I've been there countless times and I always have to walk to one of the other locations. Its rediculous. If you're reading this, save time and go some where else. I've even seen tourists coming to get something and even waited for a while and that guy never let's anyone in at night.

Very disappointed in the two gentleman working today. It is obvious they were flustered due to being understaffed but to say I am "difficult" because I wanted clarity on INCORRECT pricing of a special and telling me "that is what it came to" is unacceptable. Management needs to do a better job of training them to deal with high-stress situations.

Was turned away during business hours, (door unlocked) because an employee was mopping the floor. I guess taking a couple of minutes to re mop a floor is just too back breaking, making money and grabbing business isn't important. I'll take myself and my dollar where I'm respected...

From a few months ago I started calling this place a big help for my meals and coffee for my trips out of Chicago, and I also call it the go to place after I get done with my events, always a great selection of coffee and foods for my bonus points!!

Very nice location. Clean store and great customer service. I always get the best deals at this store. They recommend the 7/11 app to me and I love it. I always get points when I purchase stuff and end up getting free drinks and food.

Very disappointed! The old lady was screaming at the customer and another employees . This is downtown not middle eastern country. I will never stop by to that place. How she treat students from the University is horrible.

Dude short changed me $2. He thought he was cleaver and that people like me were naive. I knew what he was up to, but I wasn’t up for a confrontation. I just wanted OUT of there. It was a bad scene.

Workers do their best every day, customers can not complain before they understand how this store works at that complicated area. Please take your time to see how they do a great job.

I went to buy a slushy and it was a rude guy snatched my money out of my hand as i hand it to him... they don’t greet customers with any manners. Their customer service sucks.!!

The workers in there never know anything. I asked the woman in there to speak to manager she got an attitude. If it wasn't close to my job I honestly wouldn't go in there.

An employee of this store put his hands on my niece yesterday. When she asked him to stop, he continued, and made "me-too" jokes. Do not give this store your business.

This 7-11 chooses its own hours and is definitely not open 24 hours. Came by at 10pm and was waved away by an employee despite the hours posted.

Hours say 24/7. 9PM the door is locked and the guy at the counter shakes his head no at me. No sign on the door with a change in hours.

A guy just standing right at the counter. Ring a bell 100 times and he doesn't even doing anything why open then. To ruin reputation?

Great place for people watching. And by people watching, I mean the people shoplifting and the Indian dudes trying to stop them.

The store was clean the clerk was kind and courteous and the drink fountains were clean and sanitized keep up the great job
