Convenience store
"This is by far one of the most welcoming 7-Eleven stores I have ever been! The employees are very polite and welcoming, they are very helpful and respectful, especially the graveyard shift, the people that work overnight are really awesome! It has a public restroom (but please, do not trash the bathroom, since is frequently used by homeless people it can easily be pinned on the homeless)"
"Left a 1 star review on their app"
"Just had the worst experience ever in a 711! I'm 45 years old"
"I've been coming here for about 6 years"
"This is a horrible place to go to and work at"
This is by far one of the most welcoming 7-Eleven stores I have ever been! The employees are very polite and welcoming, they are very helpful and respectful, especially the graveyard shift, the people that work overnight are really awesome! It has a public restroom (but please, do not trash the bathroom, since is frequently used by homeless people it can easily be pinned on the homeless). Amazon Lockers named "Puck". ATM that always work in good conditions. Large selection of red and white wines. Very convenient location, with Starbucks across the street, Moody Bank next door, Double Tree Hotel at just a block, Texas Chilli Parlor Bar and Grill about 3 blockes, plus other interesting places. I have been visiting this 7-Eleven for the past 10 years and it has always been my favorite convenient store. Something charming about it! And they are always open - 24/7 365 a year.
Left a 1 star review on their app. I use the rewards since 711 is everywhere. Anyways I bought a breakfast sandwich that was hard as a rock, I guess the packaging fooled me. And then I mentioned when I bit into my donut it was soggy. There happened to be flytraps everywhere the next day, the gross liquid ones where the flies just accumulate and float to the top. The owner called about this review and told me I have no idea what I'm saying. Food is fresh delivered every day. I just said some of it was stale. I have also bought their pies here and after biting into them, I realize the date is expired already. This owner doesn't know what he's doing. In spite of all this, the employees here are awesome. They literally are what keeps this place running. Night or day these guys are helpful and super nice. Especially Diana. She's super sweet.
Just had the worst experience ever in a 711! I'm 45 years old. I've never have encountered such rudeness and immaturity!! I love this corner store. But definitely will not come while this know it all, that cost me over a dollar of over charging is attending register. In addition to my original post. Date 28th of sept. Stopped by saw said employee. Left . This is days later. 711 asked to hear more about the event. Computer generated response.. yuck.. I am appalled with this store as long as she is there. Not as customer service representative at all. And will eventually boycott this store, due to circumstances!!!
I've been coming here for about 6 years. The staff there are extremely friendly. I'm usually there every morning either for breakfast, and purchase my lunch for work. One of the clerk's actually offers suggestions on how to try your sandwiches IE: by heating if its a turkey or trying it with type of condiment. One time I had to mix my coffee because I finished my favorite off. I told the clerk that they were out, and he appologized and said it was on the house. I was ready to pay and he said it was ok. I will always go to this location. I love it!!!
This is a horrible place to go to and work at. The owner and his son is awesome but that's about it. The manager over the place and some of the employees there are horrible. It's always dirty there's always bums hang around. I would not recommend anybody with children to stop at this place at night. Daytime is a good time to go. The girl with the greasy hair is constantly talking about her other employee that works overnights. Personally when I walk in I don't want to hear anything to do about your work . That girl needs to learn professionalism!
I bought gas here and noticed my tires were low so i went inside to get some quarters to use the machine. The woman behind the counter told me i had to buy something first. I said, "i just bought gas, i just want to put some air in my tires". Nope, not unless you buy something first she says, because she just closed the drawer....screw that. Either you're not training them right or she is just incompetent. I know there is a way to open the drawer and give change. Don't hire imbeciles.
The gentlemen that was working this early morning was the nicest person ever. I had stopped at other 7-11s to use the bathroom.( 7 monnths pregnant) Always need a bathroom. And he was so polite and let me. Even made sure it was cleaned up and good before i went in. Thank you so much. Wish more people were kind like you. Sept.24th @1:09am Glad to know there is still kind people out there. And care about having great customer service. So to the Gentlemen.... Thank you so so much.
My experience in this store was going well until I asked the attendant a question. She was very unfriendly, almost combative. My question was simply about their ability to warm a sandwich. She responded with wait. She made me and my family wait for 6 minutes while she continued her internal non-customer related task with no since of urgency.
This is definitely one of my favorite places, however, it's really sucked here lately. Not sure if it's new management or what but they seldom have pizza now, which is one of their best selling items. No explanations, they just claim they've run out (at 11:00am??). Anyway, hope they fix their inventory issues or replace their manager!
Honestly, its the same 7 eleven you've known for years, but without all the selection of hot food like they have in DFW. Obviously this is an older location, but itty needs the modernization upgrade and full selection inside. Very watered down the offerings here outside of a daggum hotdog. Bring Austin into the 21st century already.
Love going to this site. Staff is always super friendly, polite and helpful. They know their regulars by name. For being a downtown location they work hard on keeping, their store super clean. And also not allowing the unsavory clientel to hang around outside, so everyone stopping in feels safe.
Serving hot food and having restrooms Closed is a health department voiation. 7 eleven standards must have really chabge for the worst. This is going to health dept, and 7 eleven corporate office. Hope you do not to go this store as cashier was high on something and could barely talk.
They don’t deserve one star!! It is a freaking store that sells gas!!!! If there’s gas pumps you should be able to go to the bathroom!!! I worked at a convenience store and if you sell gas customers has a right to access bathrooms!!!! Stay away from here!!!
Cleaner, more well run, better organized, better laid out, and far friendlier employees than the vast majority of convenience stores around (especially other 7-11s). Victor in particular was very friendly, and was going out of his way to help folks.
Don’t buy Esco Bars here. They sell fake Esco bars, I bought a spearmint one today that taste completely off and is a different color than the real ones. They are charging $20 to sell fake vapes, just go somewhere else if you need one
Clerk there is a jerk. Do you want customers to come back? Then listen to them. If you're looking for 7/11, there's another one on like 10th and Lamar that is way easier to get in and out of, and the clerks are really cool.
I used to go here almost every day so I could pick up a slurpee and a bag of candy on my way home. It's fantastic. The staff is friendly but otherwise just your average convenience store. Nothing too exciting or different.
Worst staff members especially two ladies working in the morning rude and not friendly at all. I go there everyday and they are rude, I think 7 11 is suppose to be friendlier then this.
Often hard to get in an out of. The gas pumps are located too close to the corner and block people coming or going. I avoid this store and go to another close by.
No public restroom... Also on the front door they have notice that say you should leave backpacks and bags outside, really?
Best service I've ever had from a 7-Eleven. These guys/gals may not be native Texans, but they sure are nice and helpful.
This is one of the worst 7 11 in atx prices are always wrong and they treat customers like trash avoid at all cost!
Anthony is a great clerk Always makes sure I'm satisfied with the tobacco product I am purchasing
Gas was over priced at 1.66 on billboard, but turned out to be 1.69 at the pump. Do your job.
Clean friendly store with responsive staff this store stocks all inventory regularly.
I put a gas as always for about 25$, but they charge 175$
Fix the paper towel dispenser in the bathroom.
No public restroom. Even though they have one
Friendly staff with the right products.
there is no bathroom service.
