I see you guys are use to bad reviews so I'm going to add another one to the total. The staff needs to be replaced because they have poor customer service skills. I went to purchase my Greyhound tickets for my trip to go and visit my children at this location (48 N. Wells St). Not only was the person that was working the register very rude to every black customer that came in there asking them "what do you want!", But she had me to go to a register where I found out afterwards that the receipt machine was down. This was found out after I had already finalized my purchase of the tickets by the young lady that was working in there as well. I go to my email and it states that I would need a copy of the receipt (printed) along with my photo ID to present to them at the Greyhound station when I come to get my tickets. I asked for a copy of the receipt in which they took a photo of the register and the young lady rudely says to me that "the receipt machine is down can't you read". I then told her that that is not how you are supposed to talk to customers and how would I know that on a small note that is posted very small. I would like to be contact by corporate as soon as possible in regards to this matter because no one no matter the color of their skin should be treated or talked to in that manner.
So, I go to this "24 hour" 711 located at 48 N. Wells on my break to get some snacks, when i get there, the clerk has the main door locked but has a sign reading use other door. As i enter, i noticed that no one was at the register, then i noticed some gentlemen by the train station on the steps smoking marijuana and joking around, one of them being the store clerk, all of a sudden the clerk comes from behind me and yells out, YO! Were closed! (VERY "PROFESSIONAL") he made me leave the store as he continued to go back to his buddies to hang out while the store is supposed to be attended to. Great customer service 7-11. I definitely give the store an F!
Given its location at the corner of Washington and Wells, it is convenient for when I'm craving a fountain drink and transferring between the L and the Metra. That's about where the good stuff ends. It's small, cramped, dirty, stinky, and just feels outdated. If there were better options that were equally convenient, I would use them. But since there aren't, I can tolerate it
This place needs to stop listing itself as open 24 hours when it is not. I have been unable to get in multiple times, sometimes as early as 10pm. Recently the employee working was around but quite literally refused to let me in the store stating "We're closed." Thankfully there's another 7-11 franchise actually open 24 hours nearby at 135 W Madison St.
They have some of the most racist customer service I have ever witnessed. The younger girl behind the counter constantly antagonizes black customers and escalates issues. I have seen this on multiple occasions since our office moved in next door and started running in there for things. 711 do something about this! It has got to stop!
The staff at this 7 eleven is very good. The staff named Mann was very helpful. There were lot of customers but he went ahead and helped everyone in a timely manner. I had to order some hot food which was out and he went ahead and cooked the fresh food for me, even at the busy time. I would like to visit this store again.
I hope you’ve fired the employee who mistreated a man born with no arms and legs. Employee said “you trippin’” ignored the man’s request for help getting a drink. Instead took a picture of the man, then told him he was too busy, etc. absolutely sub-human behavior. No 7-11, YOU trippin’!
Honestly do not understand the negative review. It seems like people will take one experience where things didn't go 100% their way and automatically throw a 1-star review on this store. This location has served its purpose and I have no complaints.
My one stop shop while my stint at the neighbourhood 215 W Washington St. building. Lot of nostalgia with this entire place. Great variety of products. Amazing frozen pizzas and beer. Great job Bishnu. A pleasent, smiling counter boy. Kudos.
Poor service, the overnight worker was rude as ever, kept the doors locked even when his break was over and had a bad attitude when I was only trying to buy a coffee. I couldn't enter the store from 4:30am-6am
Does not know how to treat people. Owner doesnt know how to train their staff with the most basic customer service skills. Mistreats the handicapp and disabled. Someone needs to be held accountable.
I just finished reading the article on how this 7 eleven mistreated and humiliated a disabled person, truly disgusting behavior by employees of this store. Reform your staff or hire better people.
The guy who works there a night is super rude. Gotta nasty attitude. The fool threw my receipt. He kept me hostage in the store until threatened to called the cops on him
Nice people. I found it to be very clean. Only gave 4 stars due to aisles being so tight and close...but hey, What do you expect in downtown Chicago?
Staff member that was there after 10:30 was rude upon ringing bell staff just looked didn’t open door exiting customer open door
If you need a Slurpee, Big Gulp or some beer be sure to stop into the 7-Eleven, 48 N Wells St, Chicago, IL 60606 and pick it up.
This store is every time clean. I like customer service.I like pizza & ice coffee. Finally I love ❤️ this store......
Hod you treat and mock a disabled person? You will be fined and sued. I can't wait on the lawsuits. Good luck …
Never had any problems with this 7-eleven. Always kind helpful with their service in last 2 years going to
this place have good prices. they have lots of cold drinks. I will go back there again.
Never enough cashiers if another one is there they ignore the growing line
Does not assist or act kindly to the handicapped & disabled.
Cashier had difficulty using the money in my 711 wallet.
Very poor customer service. Spend your money elsewhere.
Always a smile and pleasant greeting. Fairly clean also
