The establishment was alright. I have defenetly been to way nicer 7elevens. Establishment was dirty and had homeless practically living inside. Staff was very rude and speaking foreign language constantly and what seemed to be laughing at their customers. The surrounding environment was what bothered me the most. Like any other situation I tend to approach very carefully and with caution as I do not know the city or the location. I was on my way back from San Fransico on a late night drive, back to LA, no coffee and somewhat sleepy. I decided to stop here as it was the closses to my exit and the only 7eleven open with the convenience to fill up gas. Instead of making an illegal turn into the establishment (at this point I probably should of) i followed the sign to turn at the light and then a left into the parking lot. As I approached the side driveway to go in, there was a group of (what was obvious at 1st glance) gangbanger and his band of mischievous groupies, as I tried to avoid them because they were in the middle of the entrance of the driveway and what seemed to me intoxicated on who knows what. The gangbanger flashed and pointed a gun at me. He immediately approached my car and began to try to break my window to what I assume threaten me with his gun. I quickly gassed it and tried to avoid the guy, at this point his groupies just pulled him and the continued their festivities at the same spot they were on the driveway. I still needed coffee so I parked and waited a minute just to make sure the guy was not waiting on me. I still needed my coffee to be able to make it to the rest stop so I went in the establishment. The staff seemed so accostumed to the behavior that it did not phase them and continued to work. The situation seemed so normal to them that it didn't to bother them. Either way I can not fully blame the establishment as this seems to be a city issue yet they didn't bother to do anything to secure their location and its surroundings. Defenetly will not try this visit again.
I give this particular establishment a "zero"...store is always dirty, staff is rude, machines always out of order, never restocked, try to overcharge(even though the prices on items is listed in store) they discriminate on race, seems like they enjoy harrassing and mocking CERTAIN customers...AND just recently they got bent out of shape and actually called the cops because someone ,who bought an iced coffee, took a couple extra creamers to add to the coffee later....over TWO measly coffee creamers!!! Just appalled by their reaction and behavior of staff and the OWNERS, who weren't even present when incident occurred, and then hostily begrudged the customer and lied to police about situation completely. I will NO longer be giving them my service, nor will my friends. Place should be reported for violations, lack of cleanliness, and unfair discriminatory treatment of customers. And yes, homeless people frequent the place, but they really are no bother...in fact, some are quite nice!!! DO NOT INDULGE THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR BUSINESS... GO TO SAN CARLOS 7-11...MUCH ,MUCH BETTER SERVICE , EXTREMELY FRIENDLY STAFF, LOWER PRICES, AND THE STORE IS ALWAYS STOCKED AND CLEAN!!!☺❤
About average to below-average when it comes to expectations from this 7-Eleven. In comparison to others in the downtown area it has a lot to be desired. Yet if you come for the regular coffee, drinks and smokes you'll get an average service. If you come expecting more than that of course this place will leave you unsatisfied. Warning: the area is on a main road for the downtown area. Lots of solicitors in the area, some more sketch than most. building is pretty Ill repaired, ice machine hasn't been cleaned and some of the fridgerated goods might be expired. Last time I bought bacon here some of the packages were loose and not vacuum sealed. Worse yet some of the bacon had a different color! Food selection is limited. If you are looking to use your 7-eleven app for combo deals this is definitely not a participating store.
We went here for paying cash for Greyhound tickets ( paynearyou). The person incharge just told us they don't do it ( bit rudely) . Then he told they don't do it after 6 pm, since it was 6:15 pm already. Could not argue with him, and had to look for another 7-eleven ( near university) where we got the tickets immediately. Here he denied us the tickets, even though the outlet is shown in the list of Greyhound as participating outlet.
This place is filthy. There are too many homeles begging and make you feel uncomfortable. They don't respect promos for taquitos and they don't even pay attention to what they give you. I got wrong flavor taquitos and weren't even cooked right. Also they don't even gave cups for slurpee and make you use the big gulp cups.
The staff at this spot rock! The amazon locker is super convenient. Good selection of products, however, they need to pull expired merchandise as I’ve had that experience more than once. Despite the homeless problem, they are a great quick spot to grab gas or a snack.
I would have spent some money there but they were rude and they refused to let me use the bathroom. They even saw me trip and fall in their parking lot due to their uneven pavement and still rude. They're lucky I don't sue them. Save your time and go someplace else.
I pulled up and then didn’t end up getting out of my car because a shady guy was standing in front of the doors harassing people as they went in and out. I ended up driving off - but wish the cashier would have done more to let customers feel comfortable to come in.
I go here each day at least once or twice. The people here are graceful and polite at all times and never hurry me. I've begun to recognize the different employees and get a kick out of the mini-relationships that we form and enjoy. Good peoples
This is across the street from SJSU parking lot. This is not a place where you want to hangout as it is not safe place. Many homeless people around and illicit trade is going on. Avoid at all costs if you do not want to get into trouble.
I have to be honest, I assumed because of the location I didnt expect to have a great experience. I am glad they proved me wrong. Its always clean the clerks are polite and helpful. Theres 2 gas pumps at this loc. air does'nt work.
Location is convenient with two entrances to the parking lot , one off of 10th St which is a one way street, other off Santa Clara St. Plenty of parking. Has 7-11 Gas station. Clean and well stocked, cashiers are friendly.
A very rough 711 but the staff is super cool. They have a gas station too, cheaper than the usual places. The homeless that may be standing In the front are harmless. Don't be intimidated.
Clean, friendly staff, well stocked in products. Slurpees come in really handy on the warmer days. I got off the bus yesterday just because I had a slurpee attack.
Gas jumps were so rusty and bad smell, when me & my friend visited this plsce smells bad with homeless people and the staff even dont respond to your requests
Terrible, unclean and unhygienic. Employees there extraordinarily rude. Soda machine was broken and the cashier with broken English refused a refund.
Employees are very courteous, coffee is fresh or they will make a new batch. It's not their fault the customers make a mess, not the best location.
There is constantly an alarm sounding here. It’s very bothersome and the owners do not remove the homeless from out front. Negative experience
I changed rate. Sorry about that. And I don't need plastic bag. I said but you give to me. And I can't see name and price of cigars .
I been here last couple of years employees are very nice and friendly I love to see jass at the store every time I go
Scam alert. I was not feeling well, so I was not paying attention. Consequently, I was overcharged $4 .
Bought some food and this place has full of homeless people, they tried to steal my things from car.
Poor Customer service, And the cashiers are racist, and treating the customers with bad behavier
