This 7-Eleven location has jumped straight into an episode of Black Mirror with its transformation into a "7NOW" delivery location. I had no idea this transformation was even occurring at my local 7-Eleven. I simply pulled in to get a Slurpee last Sunday and found my access to the store completely blocked. At least two private security cards were parked in the parking lot, so I wasn't even sure if I was supposed to be there at first. I then encountered a wall of ugly signage at the entrance letting me know I now needed to download and place my order from an app. Downloading and registering for the app was a hassle. I drove back home, figured it out, place my order, and came back. The employee who delivered my order was extremely polite and professional--she did a great job. But honestly, it was a bizarre and surreal experience. I saw multiple customers pull in, only to leave in confusion. At least one customer who appeared to be a Spanish speaker tried the doors repeatedly and appeared to be very confused when they would not open. Do you have visible signage in Spanish? More broadly--why did you make this change? It feels inhuman and weird. It also feels exclusionary. What about people who don't want to download the app, or can't? What about cash customers? Or people who are filling up and just need to grab a bottle of water really quick? It seems like this eliminates the vast majority of casual customers in one fell swoop. It also seems like the opposite of what this location was supposed to be. It originally looked nice, had a collaboration with Laredo Tacos, and even had some seating inside. It's really sad that no one can enjoy that space now. As a longtime Slurpee customer, I'd also just say that the visual and tactile experience of getting the Slurpee--Seeing the flavors, mixing them sometimes, pulling the lever, etc.--is a valuable part of the product experience. Why get rid of that? See a fifty-cent "convenience fee" on my receipt felt like icing on the cake. Simply put, this wasn't a good time for me, and I don't think it's going to be a good time for the neighborhood.
Stopped here for gas purchase. Bought almost $50 gas and apparently no paper in the receipt machine or some other problem so I had to go inside to get my receipt. When I asked the female attendant for a receipt she acted like what do I need a receipt for. I was standing there and I had to ask her. She did not acknowledge me by asking if I needed help. Very rude. I asked where the restroom was and she rudely replied no restrooms. I’m an elderly person who has to go when I have to go the toilet. Houston has laws that businesses such as 7 Eleven are required to provide public toilets. I was a paying customer with a medical condition and they denied me access to a toilet. A male attendant came out and rudely told me no toilet was available and that they were not required to provide them. They don’t deserved any stars but your site won’t let me do that. I have to believe after reading the 7 eleven responses that they don’t care.
After spending $22 to their paycheck I have to edit my review I came today and met the manager she was the most rude of them all hot dogs with no buns no tongues OR anything SANITARY to you to pick THEM up with and of course I got very sick EVERYBODY AVOID THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT HOSPITAL TRIP. The absolute worst store in Texas first they don't believe in sanitary tongues so you building handle the hot dogs or the cookies they had these little TEENY TINY PLASTIC SHEETS they want you to handle the stuff with which is highly unsanitary at certain times night it don't even have to be midnight they'll shut down the store they don't care about the regular customers all they'll do is doordash the most ghetto ridled if it ain't any good for any community and need to be shut down
This is the only store I've ever ordered from, sometimes they don't get my order exactly right, but listen when I tell you about their customer service, it is spot on. They really make things right. Folks I really didn't want to share this with anyone but here goes, hands down with the exception of the crust being too light, it definitely needs to go into the oven once you take the million dollar pizza home, yes it's that good, it's better than pizza hut, papa John's, little ceaser and domino's, I am serious. Okay 7-11, I do expect 20% of the profits from the increase in sales from the . As I am your PR spokes person.
So this place does not actually have a convenience store you can go into. We went there specifically to grab ice and snacks before a trip with the doors locked and what looked like some sort of delivery hub instead. Watched multiple people try and fail to open the doors in the short time we were there looking for another gas station nearby on google. Waste of time, go to some other location.
Sign on the door, which was locked btw with a hand written sign on the front door that says Uber & door dash only… also the sign read the store wasn’t opened until 10pm despite google showing that it’s opened 24 hrs . The guy in the store was rude & pointed to the sign letting me know he wasn’t open for business. To the owner of this location, if your sales are down, he is the reason why.
This is the worst store, I've ever been in. I go there daily and it appears I'm a interruption of their day. I attempted to go in the store on last week, and this was posted on the door. Same cashier told a new employee all I do is complain, which is not true, but if I see something that's not right or always out of service, that concerns me, so I inquire about the issue.
The ladies were so nice inside of 7-Eleven they were so professional I love this place I think we need more people just like them is Regina and Tina Mrs Regina and Mrs Tina both are one of a kind professional people that we need around for a lifetime I love this store and they are the reason why I love this 7-Eleven so much everybody should visit this 7-Eleven
Bad service. The doors are locked during open hours. The two young ladies working at the register rushed me through the store. Wouldn’t allow a mother and her children to come into the store. Won’t sell anything other than gas during working hours. Will not come to the store again. I would give them a zero rating but they won’t allow me to.
Came here for to fill up my vehicle. The machine told me I had to go see the cashier inside. Walked up to the building and it was locked and I did read the sign about ringing the bell. No one came out, not sure why have a sign to ring the bell if no one is coming out will go to another gas station in the future.
Door dash order from this place was a nightmare. Out of 10 items I ordered, I only got 1 item! 7 items they did not even have. 2 items were wrong and one of those (an ice cream pint) had half the product missing from the container. Completely unacceptable. I will never step foot in another 7-11 store again
711 needs to indicate on Google maps which stores like this one are pick up and delivery only. I think I’ve driven to every single one of the stores in Houston to try to get a cup of coffee at night just to arrive and find out you can’t even walk in the store. 7-Eleven get it together!
Inhumane waste of space. This store only allows you to purchase from a smart phone. This is just passive-aggression directed at homeless persons that don’t have access to recourses like smart phones, and now apparently can’t use convenience stores either.
Big Gulps, eh? This is a place I’ve enjoyed consistently grabbing a quick drink. Close to the freeway. Usually kept very clean and the employees have always been nice to me. I’m a local frequenter of this establishment and I keep coming back, I like it!
Bad service all day. Doesn't matter who is there. From asst manager down. They are very short amd rude. Need to find better people or train them better. And if it's corporate tell them to pay people better so they can have better people
This 7-Eleven hasn’t even been open a year if bately, and a lot of the times the restrooms don’t work, the fountain drinks haven’t worked in months..they’re all empty… nothing but a bunch of lazy people they got working there .
I won’t ever order tacos from laredo ever again!!! I ordered through grub hub and when i received my food all of my tacos were cold and had egg shells in them! Awful and nasty! I will be reporting this to the city of Houston
I stopped here for gas and used google pay. I went inside and asked for 50.00 on the pump, but my car only took 25.00. They still charged me for 50.00 worth of gas. I am contacting the better business bureau for theft.
Corpro 7 eleven might want to update their hours, it's not open to the public after around midnight. They only take pickup orders that come through apps. Corporate you should chance this immediately
Had to go down the street to Shell today because there were 10 homeless people harassing customers at the door. This location will inevitably shut down. Nobody wants to deal with that.
Not a 7-11 or even a generic convenience store, idk why this shows up when you look up either. It's some spin off of 7-11 they're pushing that's like a worse Door Dash service.
Store manager very rude plus family working together ? Who heard of such a thing she also carries a gun in the store feared for my life honestly VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Guy working is very rude to doordash/uber eats drivers. I tried to request he substitute an item on my order and he refused. I don't just understand why.
The worst 711 they say they are 24/7 & I go at 12am & they are closed we waited to see & they let certain people in it’s a 24/7 place
Was aggressively approached by two homeless. One tried to grab my door handle. Went down the street to another gas station.
This store isn't open on the inside as a convenience store any longer the only thing you can get here is gasoline
Was closed for some bizarre reason at like 4PM the last time I went. Pumps were still on but store was locked.
2 people behind the counter refused to check me out. Laziness at its max. Also restrooms not working.
Cashier talks derogatorily to uncle, then proceeds to flash a gun at him for no reason. Dec 10 00:30
What gas station doesn’t have a restroom. Apparently this gas is one of those without a restroom.
They have propane tanks they could not sell because they could not find the key waste of time.
Rude staff. Place looks new but already dirty. Won't waste my time filling up here.
It's cool. Friendly staff just don't punish them for the vagrants. Not their fault
I suspect that these guys skimmed my card... beware.
Can't pay cash + crack head asking for money
Rudest staff I’ve ever encountered
No restrooms and bad service
DELIVERY AND PICKUP ONLY(!)
No public restrooms!!!
Closed to early
Not a store
