I was shopping for snacks and other food items with my friend earlier today, we had many items in our basket that I was pulling. My friend went to pickup two ramen and then this worker made us feel very uncomfortable by staring over our shoulders behind us. I moved as I thought he needed to grab something from the shelf but then he proceeded to tell my friend that she can put the items in the basket instead of her purse, when she just picked them up off the shelf. We were very uncomfortable and felt upset cause we shop there often , then the whole time there workers were staring at us till we left. Definitely not going back

I absolutely love this place! They are always so welcoming and very helpful! It is my go to for all my Korean product essentials. They offer groceries, housewares items, some hygiene products, baked goods, fresh meat, etc. Love the pastries and the quality of meat is excellent! Never a visit where I don't end up leaving with less than 2 bags full. Sometimes come out with over 8 other times.... hehehe. If you get a chance you should really check out the store. I always come here with friends to buy snacks and love it. But today I was watched and felt uncomfortable because I had my purse and the owner assumed I was stealing which I never was I just was holding my items and was sharing a basket with a friend and him and the cashier kept watching us and looking over our shoulders and when we left was watching us leave and we purchased everything. Don’t think I will be coming back unfortunately because that was really uncalled for when we always come.

terrible customer service, went in to see if they have a specific product, or one similar, all we get is a "no" that was all the guy said, extremely rude and clearly doesn't want our business (even though the store was empty) luckily a store in the same parking lot employ people with a personality and had the product. Go there, dont support businesses that discriminate.

Amazing selection. Always has the best Korean popsicles. Very friendly owners. Try the Korean bakery! Feels just like home and so so delicious! The baker is also incredibly sweet and even offered to have me come back and pay her the NEXT time when my debit card wasn’t working. She also throws in free baked goods to try sometimes. Very sweet.

Great variety of Korean food items, including frozen prepared meals and fresh beef for KBBQ. Parking spot was available at the time I came to check it out, and I was pleasantly surprised at the broad array of products at reasonable prices. The owner and staff are super friendly. This is a hidden gem and worth visiting for that special 韓国食品.

I bought macaroons at bakery shop, it was most delicious macaroons I’ve ever had in my life! It costs $2 each, you guys definitely must try!! The lady at the store recommended me to buy 6 of them but I didn’t buy Because thought we would not eat that much..after we ate them I regretted that I didn’t buy 6 :( very delicious I love it

Love 88 Market! The selection of food is great and the staff are very friendly. I was looking for something specific and when I couldn't remember the name of it they went above and beyond to look through the store to find it for me. The fresh bakery inside the market is also very yummy as we have tired a few different items already.

88 Mart had all the good stuff, small but super clean and you won't be bombarded by labels and 1000 of different variations. They k ow what's good and popular, so it isn't anxiety ridden for people to ship who aren't familiar with Korean products. Bakery- delicious! And superior meat cuts pre frozen but clean authentic quality.

Great Korean grocery store finally after searching everywhere I even went to other oriental grocery stores but got let down every time till I found this outstanding little store, tucked in the back off Pembina hwy close to bishop Grandin, this wonderful store has my Kimchi Yeah!!! Lots of good snacks and great selection of drinks, groceries + more! The bakery inside is amazing and definitely worth visiting! Sweetest baker who is very helpful and friendly! Would recommend trying out her cakes, garlic bread and her other goodies! Have tried majority of them and all are great :)

Besides most of Korean foods and condiments, you can also get hair care, body care products, some plates, and freshly baked pastries! Their breads are authentic Korean style breads that are super soft and flavourful. I wish they have more fresh vegetables but they have good options still.

There is a Korean middle aged woman at checkout who was very kind. Somehow she was able to figure out my mother and I were Filipina so she used her limited Tagalog skills, so adorable! Nonetheless a good experience with lots of different Korean merchandise and pastries. 감사합니다 출납원 아주마! :)

Love going to 88 Mart, they seriously have some of the best buns in the city… Highly suggest it if you’re looking for specific Korean sauces, ingredients and many other things. It’s truly word-class authentic and I recommend dropping by if you haven’t already checked it out.

I love this store. it’s has the lowest price for my favourite ramen compared to the two other places I shop at. Also the bun we tried from the bakery was really good. Edit- the staff are very friendly also

The lady at the register is always very friendly. They also have a great selection for such a small place which they keep well stocked. The big stores can really learn from this small well run store.

One of the few Asian grocery stores in the area. It's hidden, and like most treasures it is worth finding. I would highly recommend this store since it seems to carry goods others overlook.

The cashier did not give me the thing I bought after I paid, but put the bag far away from me. It was very impolite, and every time I felt very uncomfortable, so I would not go there again.

My family and I go often and the mart staff are welcoming, their produce is always fresh and have great prices. The bakery is delicious and the butcher has wonderful cuts of meat.

Another great spot! Korean groceries with staff that are knowledgeable and gracious. And there is a bakery! Such delish-ous-ness! I had mini pizzas: tuna, corn, and hotdog. Yum.
