My experience is based on browsing the men's section. 8th & Main has a massive retail space filled with clothes. I think the sale section at the back is a permanent fixture given how much stock doesn't sell through. Its demographic is teen to late about 20s. The brands and styles are street style-focused with skateboard culture vibes. Merchandise is quite drab and basic save for some graphic t-shirts and sweatshirts—I'd say it accurately reflects Vancouver's relaxed normcore-leaning culture. Price is a little high for its brand offerings and quality, however. I've never bought anything from 8th & Main and probably never will, but it's a good place to shop if you're a Vancouverite at heart.

With so many businesses going under as a result of COVID I find their 12 customer policy perplexing. I have tried visiting twice now and left both times because the line doesn’t move. But you look inside the store and don’t see any people! You can visit a restaurant where people are eating without masks 10 feet away from you, but a large clothing store with a mandatory mask policy needs to be empty? They clearly don’t want business very badly.

I frequent your store often and have never had a bad experience until yesterday. I was at your Granville location when I overheard one of your staff members (tall, skinny male), talking about another employee. Aggressively saying things like "I will make her cry, I hope she burns in hell" I was so taken aback, I decided to leave your store. No customer should have to listen to that in an establishment.

Been shopping here for a while. Great selection and curated brands. I feel like this is one of the few remaining clothing stores in Vancouver that are reasonably priced that have great street style clothing. Also happy to be supporting a business that's local. I'd recommend coming here and avoiding generic chains like UO, H&M or Zara. This place actually has a heart and its staff are great!

Hipster store near the North of Mount Pleasant's Main Street. Relatively good pricing. All the shirts seemed to be ~$45. The style and cuts were definitely for hipsters after work/casual wear. Didn't buy anything as that's not my style. Unisex dressing rooms so ladies I hope you don't mind a man counting the number of clothes you have and directing you to your curtain fronted dressing area.

Love this boutique. Trendy and reasonably priced. I lived in downtown Vancouver for years so I frequented this store often. It's an independent boutique so they carry lots of different items from different brands and its not mass produced so there's only one or maybe few items in each size. You can find awesome deals at their sale section at the back of the store.

Writing for a friend who doesn’t have a google account: Clothing selection great. However, will not return due to unprofessional staff. They are rude and not helpful. A customer had left the changing room, I overheard the sales associate body shame her, said that he was “not paid enough for the things I have to see..” then continue to body shame her.

Im glad I followed my instinct and went in to check out this store. Everything was very decently priced, good quality, and not overstocked. It was easy to navigate through the sections, and plenty of staff to help out. They’ve got change rooms and floor length mirrors. Customer service was on point and genuine. Cool thing! Ill be back on payday!

Great selection but sadly had a hole in my sweater within five days. Clearly manufacture defect. Store would not help in any way. I know it had no tag and I only had a visa statement but in today’s world I expect better service. They’ve lost my business and recommendation. Too bad to assume everyone might be a scammer.

Well priced for the quality and brand selection. It's also a large store so you don't feel the buying pressure like you do in some of the smaller shops on Main. The men's section is also quite large, which is rare to find in most clothing stores. Highly recommended store, I'll definitely be back here again!

People have attitude problem here. Apparently being nice is taxed here…especially the one sold me the jeans @6:50 October 9th. Second time of our visit coming here and facing the same pressure and attitude from the same person. Wont be coming again and rest assured will be Filing an official complaint.

Great prices for great pieces. I haven't bought anything in a while but I check back every couple of weeks. Friendly staff most days except for yesterday's unfriendly staff member manning the fitting room. Poor posture, arms crossed, took my returned clothes without speaking.

Not a bad clothing store. Some neat stuff there which is more East Vancouver than high-end Vancouver. Friendly staff, the men's section is a bit disorganized but if you're willing to browse for a bit, you'll probably find something that will suit.

Pretty cheap stuff and have a good selection of basics in terms of pants. Can't speak for women, but the men's stuff is most MiC fast-fashion, nothing really that great to speak of. Perfect place to go if you're on a budget and are not too choosey

Amazing selection and knowledgeable staff but not the friendliest. They crowded the cashier stand chatting and were a bit rude during payment. The store seems to carry all the cool brands you see on Instagram but now you can actually try them on.

Large selection of well made clothing, with some good deals in the sales section in the back. I generally add something to my wardrobe from here every couple of seasons, and make sure to return and check in here often because of that.

Had a pleasant experience here, clothes were well priced for the quality and I picked myself up some great clothes. Staff there were nice and casual, not too overbearing. Would rate 4.5/5 stars, will go again and definitely recommend.

8th and main is my favourite clothing store in Vancouver. Beautiful clothes, there's always a sale and the staff will happily commiserate about the size differences between jeans. Love it.

One of my favorite clothing stores in town. Great semi unique brands and not very pricey. A mix of Canadian, European, and American brands. Snag a whole men's outfit for under $150.
