Thank you for taking the time to see my 5 stars, well earned since most of the time there is someone making sure that everyone wears masks, also at 99 Sherman way in North Hollywood, they are always counting how many people are inside the store. the stores are generally clean. the staff is very amaboe when i ask for help finding.
Like most other places prices are going up and the 99 Cent Store is no exception. The problem is that items that were not marked were always 99cents. Now the items that are not marked could be $1.99 or $2.99 or $3.99 and up. They need to clearly mark the prices. They could use a new name, like The $5.99 Cent Store.
I wish I owned one of these, lol. I lost my job and began buying food here. You need to look at the Best By dates on the food you get, but I couldn't believe how much I saved rather than going to a regular super market! Note that NOT everything is less here though, so keep that in mind when shopping!!
The cashiers were talking there was a line once i walked in i attract customers. I ended up leaving instead of waiting for the staff to pick up the pace. I went for the first time around 3pm there was 2 latinas with glasses taking forever laughing and talking to each other. How unprofessional.
I don't feel this store deserves a good review. They make people stand in line so long, and as a regular customer I have been treated poorly by a few of the women employees. The men seem to be nice. There are two older women employees who are rude, and should not be working with the public.
This store continues to be THE WORST. It's really a shame. Employee's just do not care. Customers are also rude. The prices are ridiculous now. It is really sad. I use to come in often and spend a lot of money. Now I rarely come in I even avoid it. And I spend a fraction of what I used to.
Store is bigger than average so lots of stuff. Issue is parking and dealing with the homeless in the parking lot, front door, and disrespect towards the cashiers. Seen this more than once. I don't go to this one often due to these issues. Just don't go at night if you do go.
A chaotic place at times, but also incredible bargains. Surprisingly good food, fresh fruits and veggies, sometimes even organic! Some items are actually over 99 cents, but frequently that stuff is quite compelling. Absolutely a must if you are on a budget.
I love this store because being on a strict budget I have to find ways to get what we need but very cheaply. This store is a lifesaver. It has lots of things we use at cheaper prices than the grocery store and I always find stuff for my paintings. Love it
I recently visited the 99 Store in my neighborhood, and I must say, it was a highly disappointing experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the state of the floors - they were absolutely nasty! It seemed like they hadn't been
Please read in its entirety. Just a heads up for anyone taking the time to leave a review in hopes that an in store manger or someone in corporate would read it, think again. They seriously DO NOT CARE. All these replies to reviews by “the
Usually plenty in stock and never to over crowded except some times during check out. Depsit having a wide lot there is rarely parking directly in front especially with pallets and product coming in as fast as it's sold sometimes. The Van
Once upon a time the majority of the merchandise at 99 cent only stores was 99 cents plus tax that's no longer the case now most of their merchandise cost more than 99 cents. At times I found better deals on certain merchandise at Walmart
I have shopped at 99 cents only stores for 35 years and seen them grow and imrove, throughout the LA basin, and I have always been thankful for their existence. However, this is the worst 99 cents only store I have ever been in or seen!
I had the worst experience possible in this store today. The market is full of homeless stealing stuff and insane people. I was cussed and almost attacked today by a random crazy man when I was paying and the attendant just watched. the
Love this .99 cent store because it's usually stocked with some great finds. It can get a bit crowded and they usually only have two, at most three cashiers open. And they closed the back registers. But, the people that work there are
This was in Van Nuys on Van Owen and Van Nuys Blvd. From the parking lot to inside it was so dirty, so cluttered. The isles had so much stuff in the middle that people couldn't get through some of them. The cashier Debbie was so
Some items do not have price tag, the items are usually more than 99c. They have items that would sell upto 4.99 9.99 if you're not aware you'd end up paying $5 for a towel that you thought it was just a dollar.
Is ok this 99c place it needs better customer services and better displays on all items , no one don't know anything when you ask for help and manager is real rude and don't help much. She has a bad attitude..
Crowded as usual. The staff is very knowkedgable about items and their location in the store. The only thing that is very inconvenient is the lack of checkers for the number of people checking out.
This location is in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and even the inside of the store reflects this. The shelves are half empty. Crime-ridden area, ugly and dangerous. Stay away. Avoid.
A bit run down compared to other 99's but goods look fresh and well stocked. Clerk was friendly and efficient. Parking is not optimal but a short walk works.
I like 99 Cents store. Just I am happy to be on this store at first. To much different staff, more than others. And very good location.
Great place very good large selection they carry more things in the average 99 cent store super clean they keep place nice
Lines are crazy long most of time.Low on merchandise in the whole store! Some shelves are even empty with nothing at all.
One of the employees was so rude for no reason, kept following me in the store, thinking i stole something.
Very nice and comfy with everything at a reasonable price. Friendly staff. Need more parking space.
This store is beautiful just wish the had more vegan items in food in more cat accessories.
I love this place I found excellent product for less price. Thank you for being good items.
Just wanted to grab a couple items, & ended up paying over $50 fer all kinds of merchandise
Good selection low prices, store was kind of empty, lots of shells had nothing on them
Everything is more than the $ .99 cents that it is supposed to be. That was $ 1.49
The employees give individual help , are very friendly and happy to help.
Longline not enough people at registers. But security guard is friendly
Always fun to stop at a 99 cent Store, you find so many great items
Really bad location, dirty outside lots of homeless ppls
This is a really good 99 cent store big selection
It's quick and about as cheap as u can get it
It's not that good. Hardly anything for .99.
