I ordered spicy habanero chicken burger and this happened for the second time when the chicken patty was fried in bad oil or the oil wasn’t changed at its respective time. My entire food went straight to garbage on my first bite and one could literally tell by looking the chicken patty how bad the oil was. I normally work night shifts and go in the morning but on my first experience I thought its just one of those days but it happened today again and i want to share this to everyone that this management or owner use the same oil for dont know how long then its supposed to be. This is unacceptable as a customer when you pay money and get cheap quality food and that too from a respected franchise.

Walk in better, but drive thru ruins the rating.. was told to wait, waited about 5 mins... second drive pulls up, so we decided to go in to get food, we noticed the server was waiting for the second person meal before bringing ours out.. I would get it if they were busy but it wasn't.. decided to eat in parking lot, and our burgers, and my fries were cold... only good thing was my husband's poutine because they possibly made it right before... For a new location that was not even busy I expected better... I think I'll go back to the upper james location... never had an issue there.

After placing an order and paying for it - the worker and manager refused to give me the coffee. I then showed them my receipt as well as payment out of my own account. They argued and did not make the $1.05 coffee for almost 10 minutes. It was ridiculous, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating being called a liar when the receipt and payment was clearly shown. It's unfortunate such people are allowed to lead a franchise location and treat nice, patient, and paying costumers in such a way.

Good place to grab some quick burgers. Food and service both are great. spicy chicken burger is a must try and you can also ask for extra onion, lettuce and tomato and that too without extra charge. I go to this place when I crave for some burgers and onion rings.

ordered off skip the dishes and they gave me a pie instead of 2 gravy’s. Both orders of fries had barely any in the pack. Update August 10th You know I went and tried this location again and I did drive through and they still managed to mess up my order. Frost they charged me for 3 meals when I got 2 then didn’t wanna refund me lmfao and my chicken wrap looks mad sus. This place is scary

this is the best a&w experience i have ever had (and i have a&w frequently). the service was amazing, super friendly staff ! they let me use two coupons including an expired one by 10 days, and also gave me the best burger ever !! highly recommend :) More

Worst anw in whole Hamilton. Firstly the guy on night shift was very rude. And then they asked me to come to the window after 3 mins like wth dude. Every other food chain bring order to the curb if there is a wait. Very unprofessional. Such a shame.

Ordered 2 mama burgers and large fries at my local a w. Rymal and centennial in hamilton ontario.Asked to wait 4.5 minutes. Food was brought to car . Everything ok so far. Got home opened the wrapper on first burger as expected. Opened

Everything was incredibly delicious and piping hot when it was served. The sitting area was clean and a pleasant place to have dinner. Great work A&W team! We will be back soon :) More

Super friendly and fresh. Everytime I come to order it's made fresh. Some people may complain about the wait but I'd prefer to wait for fresh food then get old stale product. More
